    Implementación de una aplicación móvil para la gestión de pacientes de la Clínica Veterinaria Pet’s Home de la ciudad de Ambato.

    The present research addresses the implementation of a mobile application for patient management at the Pet’s Home veterinary clinic, located in Ambato, Ecuador. Faced with the challenges of manual paper records, which lead to difficulties in access, errors, duplication, and loss of information, the project aims to optimize clinical administration through technology. The mobile application, designed in Android Studio using Java and supported by a .NET API, enables centralized and secure registration, consultation, and updating of information. The agile methodology Extreme Programming (XP) was employed to ensure rapid and adaptive deliveries. Additionally, SQL Server was selected as the database management system for its performance and compatibility. The results demonstrate that digitization ensures data integrity and facilitates remote access, allowing veterinarians to make informed decisions in real-time. This system not only addresses operational challenges but also enhances service quality, promoting more precise and timely care for pets and their owners. The research concludes that the digital transformation of clinical processes at Pet’s Home is a crucial step toward modernizing the veterinary sector in the region.

    Desarrollo de un sistema para la generación de contenido audiovisual utilizando recursos basados en inteligencia artificial y su incidencia en los tiempos de producción

    The production of educational videos poses significant challenges in terms of time and quality. This project developed an automated system to optimize audiovisual content creation using artificial intelligence tools. Key technologies include Microsoft Azure Text-to-Speech for voice synthesis, GPT-4 for scriptwriting, FFMPEG for programmatic video editing, and Electron JS for developing a scalable desktop application with a user-friendly interface. The system automates critical processes such as slide creation, narration generation, and scriptwriting, achieving a 67.43% reduction in production time. It addresses the needs of Ingedemy instructors, who faced bottlenecks in stages like editing and recording. Results validated significant improvements in efficiency and quality, emphasizing the system’s ability to personalize and standardize content. This project demonstrates that integrating these technological tools not only reduces manual workloads but also fosters the adoption of innovative solutions to meet the growing demand for high-quality educational content.

    Sitio web para la gestión del reclutamiento y selección de futbolistas en la ciudad de Ambato

    Soccer has transcended since ancient times and with the passage of time it has become one of the most popular sports at different levels, such as: sports, enter tainment, social and economic; Due to this popularity, there is a large number of people who are passionate about being soccer players, so one of its fundamen tal pillars is the search for new talents, which has been evolving and improving, however, currently this process generates certain limitations in regarding the ma nagement of the information of each participant and the time they have to develop their tests, thus limiting their performance; This is why the idea of the present project entitled "Website for the management of the recruitment and selection of soccer players in the city of Ambato" arises with the purpose of optimizing resources and time of both soccer clubs and applicants at the time to carry out the selection and recruitment process through the implementation of a website. This project was developed with the client-server architecture; the client part (front-end) is developed in Visual Studio Code with the angular js framework; the server (back-end) is a rest api for which various technologies have been imple mented, starting mainly with node.js and express.js for its creation and adding libraries, tools and dependencies such as sequelize for database management, mul ter and ffprobe for the management of video and image files and node-cron for the scheduled tasks that the system requires. To administer and manage this research work, the agile XP (Extreme Program ming) methodology was improved, which is aimed at small and medium-sized teams and is based on values, principles and practices, in order to produce qua lity software that is adaptable to changing requirements.

    Sistema de lotería de apuestas deportivas en el fútbol con Spring Framework para la empresa Alquimiasoft S.A.

    En el presente proyecto de investigación, se ha implementado un prototipo de un sistema de lotería de apuestas deportivas en el fútbol con Spring Framework en la empresa Alquimiasoft S.A. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se realizó un levantamiento de requerimientos con la empresa y el equipo de desarrollo, apoyados en la información obtenida de la aplicación de encuetas a una muestra de la población total del cantón Ambato. También se realizó un estudio teórico de los conceptos y métodos de aplicación de las herramientas tecnológicas utilizadas en el desarrollo, se estudió a profundidad el framework Spring en aspectos como: definiciones, características, ventajas, el uso de subproyectos tales como, Spring Boot, Spring Security y Spring Data, entre otros. Se realizó el estudio de las demás tecnologías como Docker, Bases de Datos e INTEGRACIÓN CONTINUA. Además, se realizó el estudio de la aplicación de las metodologías agiles en el desarrollo de software, enfocado en la METODOLOGÍA SCRUM, que se aplicó al desarrollo del presente proyecto. Para el sistema de lotería de apuestas deportivas en el fútbol, se impuso por parte de la empresa el desarrollo a base de pruebas (TDD), por tanto, se han realizado pruebas Unitarias y Pruebas de integración, que garantizan un software funcional y de calidad
