Carrera de Software, 2025-02) Carrasco Santos Erick Josué; Ibarra Torres Oscar FernandoThe Quality Management Directorate of the Technical University of Ambato faced challenges in quality management due to the lack of centralized data, inconsistencies in information collection, and delays in the manual calculation of indicators, which led to delays in strategic decision-making. To address this issue, the project aimed to develop a web application to manage information and calculate quality indicators efficiently, optimizing the processes of the Quality Management Directorate. The purpose of the application is to centralize data, validate its consistency, and automate analysis through interactive dashboards, using modern technologies such as Golang for the backend and Svelte for the frontend. The Extreme Programming methodology enabled agile iterations and adaptations based on constant user feedback, ensuring a user-centered development process. As a result, the processing time has been reduced from 35.5 hours to approximately 6 hours, representing an 83% reduction through the use of the system. Additionally, the accuracy of the indicators has improved, and continuous monitoring of academic quality has been facilitated. The project has strengthened the institution's ability to implement efficient improvement plans and make strategic decisions based on reliable and up-to-date data.Item Sistema de gestión de calidad basado en la norma ISO 9001:2015 para la empresa Tenería Núñez(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2024-08) Lagua Moreta, Hugo Ricardo; Ortiz Guerrero, Daysi MargaritaGlobally, process standardization and compliance with quality standards are fundamental elements to ensure excellent levels of competitiveness in today's market. However, the poor or null knowledge regarding ISO 9001:2015 and its application has generated significant losses and very big challenges in terms of managing agile and controlled processes. This research addresses the design and development of a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2015 for the company Tenería Núñez, in order to improve the quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the organization. Under this context, the research begins with the mapping of all the company's processes, identifying its strategic, operational and support processes, in order to contemplate a global vision of the organization's operations. Subsequently, an evaluation was developed to measure the company's level of compliance with the requirements of this standard, using a checklist based on the initial conditions of Tenería Núñez. The results obtained reveal that the organization's processes are developed under empirical approaches, without formalized or structured systems and without a clear vision to comply with quality standards. After the analysis developed, it was identified that the level of non-compliance of the organization amounts to 61.73%, which could cause negative impacts on its credibility and reputation before all its stakeholders. In this sense, it provided the necessary documentation and requirements for the company's Quality Management System. The proposed documentation contains matrices, formats, records and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 contemplated in a quality manual for the organization, a document that will serve as a guide for the application, implementation, monitoring and improvement of the QMS.Item Sistema de gestión de calidad basado en la Norma ISO 9001:2015 para la empresa “Kipa Amaranto”.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2023-08) Soto de la Cruz, Diego Alejandro; Rosero Mantilla, César AníbalThis research project establishes a Quality Management System (QMS) based on the international standard ISO 9001:2015 as a proposal for the standardization and improvement of the operational sector of the company KIPA Alimentos del Sol, dedicated to the production of consumer products from Andean grains and fruits, the main objective of the system is the improvement of the quality of the products optimizing their operational processes and increasing customer satisfaction by meeting each of their established requirements. A field methodology was used, from this the research was started with the application of an interview to the general manager of the company to delimit the context of the organization with a checklist designed for internal audit of compliance with the requirements established by international regulations, consequently to the application of the survey global data were obtained regarding the current compliance with the requirements resulting in a 29%, which generates an overall QMS rating of low due to the empirical way of working for both productive and administrative processes where the respective documented justification is not maintained. After obtaining the overall results, the respective Quality Manual is developed in accordance with the requirements of the regulations, in which the mandatory records established in search of the direction and projection of the organization to the growth and improvement of the company are documented. Finally, in the development of the QMS it was formalized with the obtaining of 10 documented procedures was formalized, between mandatory and additional in context and benefit of the organization, said documentation contains specific information and detailed instructions of each area focused within the QMS.Item Diseño de un sistema de gestión de calidad en la empresa “Calzado Sinell” mediante el uso de la norma ISO 9001:2015(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2022-03) Espín Martínez, Cyntia Elevación; Rosero Mantilla, César AníbalSMES generally do not have information regarding the quality management system through the use of ISO 9001:2015 which generates empiricism and disorganization in their processes, for this reason in the company "CALZADO SINELL" which is dedicated to the design and manufacture of casual, sports, classic and safety footwear, the purpose is to design a quality management system that contributes to the continuous improvement of the organization. In the initial research an analysis was made on the degree of compliance with ISO 9001:2015 in the Sinell Footwear company through the use of a checklist where it was determined a percentage of non-compliance of 74.42% being a very high value because there is no standardization and documentation in all processes carried out, also a survey was applied to the administrative area and the production area to know how involved in the issue of quality management system are the members that make up the organization. Based on the requirements established by the ISO 9001:2015 standard, several manuals on the procedures to be followed in the different areas and activities carried out in the company are generated and determined, together with documented information used to support the different manuals such as records, formats, plans and matrices. By implementing a quality management system in an organization, it is possible to plan, execute and control all the processes that make up the company and thus provide a quality product that meets the expectations and needs of customers.
