Item Implementación de una aplicación móvil para la gestión de pacientes de la Clínica Veterinaria Pet’s Home de la ciudad de Ambato.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Software, 2025-02) Jaramillo Collazo Christian Marcelo; Núñez Miranda Carlos IsraelThe present research addresses the implementation of a mobile application for patient management at the Pet’s Home veterinary clinic, located in Ambato, Ecuador. Faced with the challenges of manual paper records, which lead to difficulties in access, errors, duplication, and loss of information, the project aims to optimize clinical administration through technology. The mobile application, designed in Android Studio using Java and supported by a .NET API, enables centralized and secure registration, consultation, and updating of information. The agile methodology Extreme Programming (XP) was employed to ensure rapid and adaptive deliveries. Additionally, SQL Server was selected as the database management system for its performance and compatibility. The results demonstrate that digitization ensures data integrity and facilitates remote access, allowing veterinarians to make informed decisions in real-time. This system not only addresses operational challenges but also enhances service quality, promoting more precise and timely care for pets and their owners. The research concludes that the digital transformation of clinical processes at Pet’s Home is a crucial step toward modernizing the veterinary sector in the region.Item Sistema de recomendación para productos ecnológicos utilizando web scraping para la toma de decisiones en compra(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Software, 2025-02) Cayo Tipan Kevin Joel; Nogales Portero Rubén EduardoThe growing number of online stores and the abundance of information about technology products make it difficult for consumers to make purchasing decisions. Browsing multiple websites to compare options has become a complex and overwhelming process. This can lead to hasty decisions or the purchase of products that do not meet expectations, and even, in many cases, to the final abandonment of the purchase. The technology product recommendation system offers functionalities such as product visualization, generation of recommendations, visualization of product details and the option to add products to a list of favorites. For the development of the progressive web application (PWA) and its graphical interfaces, React.js was used. In addition, the Flask framework was used to implement the REST API services, while MongoDB was used as the database manager, ensuring efficient and structured information management. The results obtained from the evaluation of the recommendation system were positive. There was a notable decrease in the time required to search and make purchasing decisions. In the context of the health emergency, many companies found in the use of these resources an opportunity to improve and automate different processes, with which it was possible to optimize these processes and provide a better experience to users. This research project focused on the development of a Progressive Web Application (PWA) that allows to automate the order management process within the company "Megamultisuelas", in view of the company's need to improve and adapt to new technologies. technologies, in order to better position itself before its competitors and attract new customers. For the development of the progressive web application, open source tools were used, which facilitated its development. For the front-end, the VueJS framework was used, which is a progressive development framework that uses javascript and is easy to learn, and for the back-end, the Express framework was used, in which a REST API was built, which provided the services necessary for the functionality of the application. Carrera de Ingeniería en Electrónica y Comunicaciones, 2022-03) Culcay Oñate, Giancarlo; Manzano Villafuerte, Victor SantiagoThe amount of data that the Internet of things generates is growing exponentially, there are more and more devices called "things" that connect to the Internet and provide important data for different sectors, accessing these thousands of data is complicated with conventional techniques, also in recent years due to the pandemic it was necessary for the devices to be configured remotely and facilitate a lot of work. This project analyzes the technologies for the operation of sensor networks, IoT, communication protocols for the IoT and develops a REST API with Node.js and Express so that users can create the resources (nodes, sensors, data) each related to the other. Cloud services are used to deploy a broker container: EMQ X which serves as a server for IoT device connections, by subscribing and publishing data ordered by their sensor id. As the security of these networks has been much talked about, MQTT connections are authenticated using a security token and anonymous connections are not allowed. This project uses serverless solutions, the API REST application is hosted in the Azure App Service and any client that wishes to obtain data from the API must have a registered user and each time they make the requests they must have an access token. MongoDB databases are used for their performance, lightweight documents and allow data without fixed structure for the characteristics of sensors and data that can have different values, and that changes continuously. Currently, most people have smart mobile devices, facilitating their access and participation in different apps. The field of medicine, despite the centuries, has not lost its importance or relevance in anything, the doctor-patient relationship being so important that it has transcended time, without taking ethnic groups, genders or other characteristics into account; This relationship focuses primarily on the treating physician who gives a diagnosis and corresponding treatment to a person, and this patient follows the instructions to the letter for their subsequent recovery. The purpose of this project is to create a mobile application aimed at the interaction of the doctor with his patient, trying to help people with their problems with taking medications, in order to reduce and partially mitigate the problems resulting from latent irresponsibility. Of the human being in the order of their prescriptions and treatments. The main problem of commercial companies in the city of Latacunga, is generated due to a low use of applications about location and geographical location, there are very few companies that are recognized locally, that mainly generates a shortage in the use of related applications with geolocation. Causing companies to lose competitiveness in the market, in the city of Latacunga they have not yet managed to make themselves known in an agile way, and therefore cannot make themselves known in the local market, losing the opportunity to exhibit their services, products and offers that help capture a greater interest in your consumers. For the development of the business guide application, the Flutter platform has been used, which allows the development of applications similar to those of native code, in addition to allowing early compilation, which allows speeding up the application creation process, as a development methodology Mobile D was applied which is an agile methodology that allows the reduction in its execution time, Mapbox gl was used for the deployment of maps, navigation and location of a specific place and finally Extjs for the creation of the administration of the application . Through the studies and research used in this work, it can be concluded that most companies have access to the use of applications, which facilitates the motivation to use a business guide that allows them to be part of a business digital catalog locally, which is of great help to make yourself known to potential and new customers. This application stores a list of commercial companies classified by area and sub-area of commerce and general information about it, such as company name, address, contacts, etc. By allowing the information of registered companies to be made available, an increase in their competitiveness in the market can be achieved, being an information application that helps increase the economy at the local level.
