Item Sistema de gestión de inventarios en la empresa Casa Yoly Multifabritex de la ciudad de Riobamba.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2024-02) Rivera Gutiérrez, Pablo Fabián; Rosero Mantilla, César AníbalThe medium and small-scale enterprises currently face constant changes, influenced by both internal and external factors, which can hinder their progress. CASA YOLY multifabritex is among these enterprises, lacking methodologies aimed at enhancing processes and work areas. Moreover, there hasn't been a promotion of changes in the organizational culture or staff commitment to maintain and care for work areas, equipment, or materials. In this research project, after analyzing the current company situation using methodological tools, the need arose to propose three methodologies aimed at improving the efficiency of warehouse operations. The first methodology involved ABC Classification, enabling the company to identify its most crucial products from a wide range. This methodology allows for a higher concentration of efforts on the most vital products while providing a more relaxed management for less impactful items. The second methodology considered the implementation of an inventory management model to reduce costs and deliver more efficient operations. Leveraging the earlier ABC classification, the Quantity Economic to Produce (POQ) model was applied to Category A elements to determine the quantity to manufacture and minimize storage and preparation costs. Categories B and C were allocated the total requested products at the start of the production stage. By comparing total costs between the traditional and proposed models, a saving of $338.58 was achieved, showcasing the efficiency of the methodology when implemented. Lastly, there was a need to propose a 5“S” Warehouse Manual for the company, aimed at establishing and maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient environment.Item Control de inventarios para reducir el sobre stocks en la empresa “Seguvid Cía. Ltda.” located in the city of Ambato, province of Tungurahua, where its business focus is the manufacture and distribution of structural, tempered, automotive, curved and flat glass. This study focuses on identifying, analyzing and proposing effective solutions to inventory-related challenges. Throughout the research, various aspects that contribute to inventory problems are examined, including lack of demand forecasting, inventory management errors, and supply chain deficiencies. The research aims to provide the company with practical tools and knowledge that will enable it to more effectively manage its inventories and minimize the risks associated with stock-outs, thereby improving its competitiveness and its ability to meet market demands. Through the application of the brainstorming technique, 11 possible causes that make it difficult to maintain optimal inventory levels were identified. Through the application of the 6M on quality and the fish diagram, the causes found were classified, and by means of the Pareto diagram the highest level causes were determined; finally, a problem tree diagram was used to determine the miscalculation of orders, lack of control methods and excessive purchases. With the application of the EOQ methodology, a study was carried out to determine the costs of ordering and maintaining inventory, which are equivalent to $ 8167.87 and $ 205.61 respectively; in addition to determining the number of orders to be placed in a year. Finally, to control the overstock, the EOQ methodology was applied to optimize the warehouse inventory. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2023-09) Sánchez Contreras, Nicole Alejandra; Tigre Ortega, Franklin GeovannyThe objective of this research is to analyze the supply chain management in Kipa Amaranto agroindustrial company, which is dedicated to the production of healthy and nutritious products based on Andean products such as quinua and amaranth. During study development, storage problems were identified, which generate inefficiencies in their organization. Besides this, it was observed that the inventories lacked standards and policies, which raises doubts about the data reliability. Likewise, by not having supplier selection methods, the benefits that these strategies could provide are not being harnessed. As for the distribution of finished products, it is inefficient due to the lack of standards for their transportation. These findings highlight the need to propose improvements in supply chain management. The study began by analyzing the company's current situation through direct observation and interviews with the manager. Information was gathered using visual tools such as flow charts and control and follow-up tools such as checklists, and inefficiencies were synthesized in an Ishikawa diagram. Inventory improvements are proposed through the standards application, policies, as well as calculations for accurate management. Adittionally to the selection of vehicles for food transportation and standards for the same. In summary, the strategies and results derived from key calculations, such as safety stock, order points and economic order quantity, lead to a significant improvement in the company's inventory and warehouse management. In Ecuador, pasteurizers have many processes for their business rules, which is why they must manage computer systems that help to maintain and optimize daily production and inventory control records. The research project aims to implement a web system for inventory and production control in the Pasteurizadora J.S. of Salcedo city, because they currently have manual and semi-automatic records (Excel), for this reason through technological tools seeks to cover the essential requirements of the business rule, thus allowing automate and streamline efficiently production processes such as: Suppliers, Raw Material Registration, Supplier Payment Calculations, Production Registration, Production Expenses, Product Stock, Sales and Routing Expenses, thus helping to reduce calculation errors and have clear records of internal business movements. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was used to maintain adequate control for the development of activities, establishing times and organization through user stories for each functional module of the system. Los laboratorios actualmente no posee un sistema de gestión para controlar el inventario de, materiales, reactivos y equipos. La falta de un sistema de gestión, ha hecho que no se administre de manera eficiente los registros, ocasionando que los estudiantes no puedan realizar sus prácticas adecuadamente. El objetivo de esta investigación es automatizar los procesos de Inventarios para la gestión de los laboratorios en la Facultad de Ciencia e Ingeniería en Alimentos, a través de la implementación de una aplicación web utilizando la metodología RUP. La importancia de este proyecto radica en que permite que los estudiantes puedan desarrollar sus prácticas con mayor facilidad. El presente trabajo denominado “SISTEMA DE GESTIÓN PARA LA OPTIMIZACION DEL DESARROLLO DE PRÁCTICAS DE LOS ESTUDIANTES EN LOS LABORATORIOS EN LA FACULTAD DE CIENCIA E INGENIERÍA EN ALIMENTOS.”, mostrara la utilización de la tecnología web para ayudar a la gestión de las tareas que actualmente se realizan de forma manual, permite reducir el tiempo de duración en los procesos de registros de los laboratorios. El sistema de gestión fue desarrollado con las siguientes herramientas: PostgresSQL v9.2, Eclipse neón como lenguaje de programación. El producto final obtenido ha sido un sistema de gestión web que ayude a controlar los registros de materiales, reactivos y equipos que tiene los laboratorios de la Facultad de Ciencia e Ingeniería en Alimentos, contando con acceso a la información de manera rápida y segura. ABSTRACT The laboratories of the Facultad de Ciencia e Ingeniería en Alimentos of the Universidad Tecnica de Ambato, allow to realize practices to the students, of this way contributes in the learning of the same. The laboratories do not currently have a management system to control the inventory of materials, reagents and equipment. The lack of a management system has meant that records are not managed efficiently, causing students to be unable to perform their practices properly. The objective of this research is to automate the processes of inventories for the management of laboratories in the Facultad de Ciencia e Ingenieria en Alimentos, through the implementation of a web application using the RUP methodology. The importance of this project is that it allows students to develop their practices more easily. Maestría en Gestión de Operaciones, 2018) Ortiz Guerrero, Daysi Margarita; Sánchez Rosero, Carlos HumbertoEl presente proyecto de investigación está enfocado en desarrollar un modelo de implementación del sistema de manufactura esbelta en la empresa Texmareli con el fin de optimizar los procesos operativos de producción textil. A través de la recolección de la información obtenida mediante el mapa de procesos, el diagrama de flujo de procesos, el estudio de tiempos, la representación gráfica del layout y los datos históricos se identificó el estado actual de la línea de producción y mediante el mapa de la cadena de valor se determinaron los desperdicios, es decir lo que no agrega valor al producto final. Con los desperdicios identificados y mediante el análisis de las herramientas de manufactura esbelta se seleccionó las técnicas apropiadas que generen cambios sustanciales en el manejo de los procesos de confección textil, y de esta forma reducir los tiempos de ciclo mediante la eliminación de las esperas, transportes, movimientos innecesarios y reprocesos. Se propuso un sistema de producción esbelta, basado en la reducción de la línea de producción a través del rediseño de layout, eliminación de los movimientos incensarios mediante la aplicación de las 5 S´s, reducción de los tiempos de cambio de máquina mediante la aplicación del SMED, reducción del inventario en proceso mediante el balanceo de línea y la eliminación de los productos defectuosos mediante un control autónomo jidoka por los operadores. En base a la propuesta planteada, se reducirá los tiempos de ciclo, el lead time del proceso, inventario en proceso y movimientos innecesarios y por ende se incrementará la capacidad de producción para satisfacer la demanda de los clientes.Item Control de inventarios mediante programación lineal en la empresa la Fortaleza Cia. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2015-04) Sánchez Sánchez, Santiago Paúl; Aldás Salazar, Darwin SantiagoEl presente trabajo de investigación muestra una aplicación de un algoritmo matemático basado en un modelo de programación lineal, con el que se da una solución al problema de manejo de inventario de materia prima que presenta la empresa La Fortaleza Cía. Ltda. en sus bodegas, el cual genera principalmente altos costos. Para desarrollar dicho algoritmo se parte del estudio del proceso productivo, así como del análisis de los productos necesarios para la fabricación, considerando al mismo tiempo variables tales como: la demanda, el límite de la capacidad productiva, y los costos relacionados por llevar inventario; para así plantear una función objetivo y un sistemas de restricciones, los mismos que mediante la optimización de los resultados encuentran las cantidades óptimas de material a requerir, inventario al final de cada período y la cantidad de unidades faltantes con el objetivo de satisfacer la demanda y al mismo tiempo minimizar el costo total del inventario y maximizar utilidades, considerando un horizonte de planeación de doce meses. En apoyo a la solución del modelo, se emplea el software Lingo® cuyos resultados indican que se alcanza una disminución en el costo total de inventario anual, lo que equivale a un ahorro de $ 52566.50, pues sólo se piden y se almacenan las cantidades óptimas necesarias previniendo así las perdidas monetarias para la empresa. Por otro lado el caso de estudio planteado presenta una oportunidad de investigaciones posteriores sobe la implementación y experimentación del modelo propuesto en empresas radicadas en el sector dedicado a la producción de suelas, con el fin de generar mayores ventajas y ahorros económicos. ABSTRACT This research shows an application of mathematical algorithms based on a linear programming model that gives a solution to the problem of inventory management of raw material that presents “La Fortaleza Cía. Ltda.” company in their cellars, which generates mainly high costs. To develop this algorithm is part of the study of the production process, as well as the analysis of the products needed for the manufacture, considered at the same time variables such as: the demand, the limit of the productive capacity, And the costs associated with carrying inventory; to raise a target function and a systems of restrictions, the same that by optimizing the results found optimal quantities of material to require, Inventory at the end of each period and the amount of missing units with the objective to meet the demand and at the same time minimizing the total cost of the inventory and maximize profits, considering a planning horizon of twelve months. In support to the solution of the model, it uses the software Lingo® whose results indicate that reaches a decrease in the total cost of annual inventory, which is equivalent to a saving of $52566.50, since only are requested and stored optimal quantities necessary thus preventing monetary losses for the company. On the other hand, the case study raised presents an opportunity for subsequent research on the implementation and testing of the model proposed in firms in the sector dedicated to the production of soles, in order to generate more economic benefits and savings.Item Plan de requerimiento de materiales para el control de uso de inventario en la producción de buses en la Empresa Carrocerías Jácome(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2015-04) Pazmiño Vargas, Alex Daniel; Mariño Rivera, Christian JoséEl presente proyecto, realizado en la empresa Carrocerías Jácome, está orientado a solucionar inconvenientes relacionados con los insumos necesarios para el proceso de producción, ya que causa una deficiente previsión de existencias, el desconocimiento de la cantidad de materiales necesarios para los procesos, los cuales derivan en una demora en la entrega del producto final. Por lo tanto, se desarrolla un análisis específico del método de control y adquisición de materia prima actual en la empresa, el primer paso es desarrollar una entrevista para analizar el procedimiento con el cual ingresa y sale el inventario en bodega y determinar problemas existentes en la entrega de los distintos insumos y materiales por parte de los proveedores, además tomar datos de producción de carrocerías con el fin de pronosticar la demanda para el próximo horizonte de planeación y desarrollar los diversos planes de producción a largo y corto plazo. A continuación se realiza el diagrama de procesos y se verifica el tiempo en el que se realiza cada acción dentro de la producción, para poder determinar el tiempo de entrega en las órdenes de producción. Posteriormente se desarrolla el MRP en el cual se observa una hoja de cálculo del desarrollo de cada nivel de la estructura de fabricación del producto, el periodo de tiempo a realizar pedidos de los insumos y la cantidad de materiales a utilizar en cada proceso. Este plan ayuda a la empresa a cumplir con la demanda de productos pronosticada de tres mini buses urbanos, reduciendo su ciclo de diecisiete semanas a dieciséis semanas y además se redujo el costo de inventario y los costos de fabricación. Abstract The present project, performed at Carrocerías Jácome company, is guided to solve problems related to the necessary inputs for the bus production process, as it causes poor forecasting of stocks in warehouse, lack of knowledge of the amount of materials needed for production processes, which result in a delay in product delivery and customer dissatisfaction. Therefore, it was developed a specific analysis specific analysis of the method of control and procurement of raw materials that are held in the company, the first step is to develop an interview to perform an analysis of the current process by which materials enter and leave inventory in warehouse and identify existing problems regarding delays in the delivery of the different inputs and materials from suppliers to the company, besides taking production data in coachwork company in order to forecast demand for the next planning horizon and develop several production plans long and short time. Then, it was performed the process diagram and verified the time that each action performed within the production of a bodywork, in order to determine the delivery time on manufacturing orders. Later, it was performed an analysis of the materials from which the coachwork is made to proceed with the materials requirements planning in which it will be appreciated a worksheet in the in the development of each level of the structure production of the product, the time period to place orders for supplies and the amount of materials used in each process. This plan helped the company to meet product demand forecast of three urban mini buses, reducing cycle from seventeen weeks to sixteen weeks, since the system is available the required amount of materials and time. El presente proyecto “SISTEMA WEB PARA EL CONTROL DE FACTURACIÓN E INVENTARIO DE MEDICAMENTOS Y BIENES EN EL HOSPITAL REGIONAL DOCENTE AMBATO”, está enfocado en el desarrollo de software con tecnología web, utilizando herramientas Open Source que ayuden al control de las actividades y procesos diarios del Hospital Regional Docente Ambato. Un sistema de gestión de procesos, representa un control total sobre las actividades y la información de una entidad, el cual ayuda al procesamiento de datos y entrega de reportes con información real, precisa y oportuna. Mediante esta investigación se logra adicionalmente demostrar la factibilidad de realizar proyectos de gran alcance con la utilización del software Open Source.Item Sistema Web para el control de préstamos de herramientas y accesorios en los laboratorios de la Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera Ingeniería en Sistemas Informáticos y Computacionales, 2013-11) Garzón Freire, José Fabricio; Mayorga Mayorga, Franklin OswaldoLa necesidad de un sistema web que automatice las actividades que se realizan en la Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato, ha sido requerida para facilitar y agilizar el control de préstamos de herramientas y accesorios en los laboratorios de la facultad. El uso de sistemas automatizados permite, entre otras cosas, la rapidez al realizar préstamos de equipos y accesorios, y además optimiza el tiempo de los encargados de realizar estos procesos. Diferentes ayudantes de laboratorio se encargan de mantener control de las órdenes de préstamos realizados por los usuarios. La facultad ha recurrido a apoyar estas actividades en una aplicación informática con tecnología web para que agilice el tiempo del control de información que se proporciona en los préstamos, para que los estudiantes se sientan conformes del servicio que se brinda, además se requiere la aplicación para evitar que se duplique o se perdida la información. A continuación se presenta una investigación que nos ayudará a encontrar una propuesta práctica en beneficio del servicio de préstamos que se brinda en los laboratorios de la Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial.
