    Gestión técnica de riesgos mecánicos, y prevención de accidentes laborales en el área de producción de la empresa M&M PLASTICOTOPAXI

    Currently, protecting the health of workers is not a luxury, but an obligation that must be constantly observed and controlled, therefore, this research aims to conduct an analysis of occupational hazards, having as a priority the mechanical risks of the production area of the company. M&M PLASTICOTOPAXI, being a manufacturing company dedicated to the manufacture of plastic covers, which does not have a technical management of occupational risks and by carrying out processes that involve the use of industrial machines, is continuously exposed to accidents and incidents that put the lives of its collaborators at risk. In order to know the current situation of the company, information gathering tools were used, such as interviews, surveys, observation sheets and information gathering sheets for each work center, where it was determined that it does not comply with certain legal safety requirements. The PGV (Probability, Severity, Vulnerability) method was used to identify hazards and estimate risks, resulting in a total of 328 estimated risks, of which 15 are intolerable risks, since they present a critical situation and require urgent corrections; there are also 150 major risks that need to be managed with control procedures and 163 moderate risks. The NTP 330 Method was applied in order to assess the risks, this allowed to know their level, i.e., from level I which urgently need to be corrected, to level IV of lesser importance that do not need to be intervened. Finally, a safety plan was drawn up to implement and integrate accident prevention within the company, establishing the objectives, policies, responsibilities of personnel within the organization, risk assessments, preventive planning and procedures, which will help minimize the potential risks to which workers are exposed.

    Factores de riesgos mecánicos y su influencia en los accidentes de trabajo de los operadores de extractoras de aceite de palma africana

    The present investigation was based on the evaluation of the mechanical risk factors and their influence on the work accidents of the operators of African palm oil extractors for which the African Palm Oil Extractor was taken as a reference case study. "La Joya", "Extrajoya". Among the risk factors of mechanical origin, the following were identified: blows with moving or immobile objects, falls at the same or at a different level, entrapment between objects, thermal contact, falling of detached objects, cuts and lacerations. The measurement and evaluation of the mechanical risks existing in case of study was carried out using the William FINE method, as a result of the analysis it was determined that there is a High Risk Degree, the same one that will not vary by job and process. At the same time, a review of the accident history was carried out, established by the method NTP 236 Work accidents: statistical control, reaching to determine that the accident frequency index is equivalent to 40.6, based on the relationship that exists between the number of accidents, the loss of working hours and the severity of injuries. These accidents have caused a total permanent disability in the victims, according to this analysis it is necessary to take corrective actions in the Extractor "La Joya". As an alternative solution to the problem, the risk control design is established at the source, the medium and the receiver.

    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The present research work focuses on the mechanical risk factors in the workshop of mechanical prefabricated of the Central Obrador of the Construcciones y Prestaciones Petroleras (CPP). The methodology used was through the initial observation of the activities by jobs and the application of controlled records in the company and also contrasted with the mechanical risks suggested by the Ministry of Labor Ecuador (MDT). Subsequently, the identified risks are assessed and controlled with the guidance for the identification of the risk factors of the INSHT, this information is developed with the data obtained from the CPP management system, about the events that were reported and recorded in its first year of operations in the study area. The objectives proposed in the development of the research was to perform the annual assessment of mechanical risk factors, apply prevention tools and controls to reduce the level of exposure to the risk factor; to finally show the management carried out in its first year of operations.

    Factores de riesgo mecánico y su incidencia en la generación de accidentes laborales en taladros de reacondicionamiento de pozos petroleros

    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The occupational hazards to which workers are exposed in the well refurbishment drills are a major problem because they are the main cause of accidents in the oil industry, contributing to absenteeism, costly compensation and low productivity. The research carried out was based on the analysis of mechanical risk factors and their incidence in the generation of work accidents in oil well reconditioning drills. The assessment of mechanical risk factors was developed in the four processes of the well reconditioning drill in the company CCDC Rig 52, the identification was made through preventive observation cards and checklists; the measurement by means of the method of the Colombian Technical Guide (GTC 45) in which it is determined that there are unacceptable and acceptable risks with specific control; The mechanical risk factors detected as not acceptable in the process of operations were trapping and handcuffs with 41%, followed by falls at a different level with 37%. Out of a total of 71 work accidents, 59 are due to mechanical risk factors and the most affected are the Cuñeros with 19; Accident rates analyzed since 2013 show that in the last year 2017 the frequency index is 0.25 below the target set 0.8. Through the analysis carried out, it is determined that there is a positive association between the study variables in the calculation of relative risk (RR = 2.08), with a 95% confidence interval of 3.74 to 1.17. It is concluded that the mechanical risk factors generate accidents in high percentages during oil well reconditioning activities, so a prevention program is developed to reduce the frequency of undesired events.

    Sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional en base a OHSAS 18001:2007 para la Empres Pública Mercado Mayorista de Ambato

    La documentación es una parte esencial en un sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional eficiente en todo tipo de organización, contribuye a mejorar las condiciones laborales en la que los trabajadores ejercen sus tareas diarias, la carencia de esta significa no poseer directrices necesarias para una gestión eficiente en prevención de accidentes. Por lo que el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo proporcionar un sistema documentado de seguridad y salud ocupacional basada en la norma OHSAS 18001:2007 y además realizar un estudio de factibilidad para su posterior implementación en la Empresa Pública Mercado Mayorista de Ambato (EP- EMA). Se realiza un diagnóstico inicial a través de un CHEK LIST en base a la norma mencionada con el fin de obtener una línea base en materia de seguridad y salud ocupacional permitiendo a su vez la identificación de la necesidad documental de la empresa y su respectivo desarrollo, finalmente se realiza un estudio de factibilidad económica a través de la proyección flujos de efectivo con el método de mínimos cuadrados y el cálculo de TIR y VAN. El resultado obtenido establece una línea base de 32% de cumplimiento de la norma, por lo cual se elaboraron 10 procedimientos, 29 registros y 5 documentos de referencia que permitan cumplir el 100% de las especificaciones, el análisis económico da como resultado un TIR = 85,18% y un VAN = 95.135,11$ Se concluye que se debe implementar la documentación elaborada para cumplir las directrices de seguridad y salud ocupacional con la norma en mención, con lo cual se garantice la integridad de los trabajadores

    Evaluación de riesgos mecánicos y su incidencia en el índice de accidentes laborales en el área de mantenimiento de camiones hidrogrúa

    La presente investigación consiste en la evaluación de los riesgos mecánicos en el área de mantenimiento de camiones hidrogrúa y la incidencia que tienen en el índice de accidentes laborales, para lo cual se toma como caso de estudio en ESCOING CIA. LTDA. Entre los factores de riesgo identificados constan golpes con objetos móviles o inmóviles, caídas al mismo o a diferente nivel, atrapamiento entre objetos, contactos térmicos, caída de objetos desprendidos, cortes y laceraciones. Se efectúa la medición y evaluación de los riesgos a través del método FINE, que evidencia que existe un grado de peligro GP Medio y Alto, que varía según el puesto de trabajo y proceso. Al mismo tiempo, mediante la revisión del historial de accidentabilidad, de acuerdo a lo establecido por Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social, se determina que el índice de accidentes laborales, expresado a través de la tasa de riesgo TR se ubica en 2, la cual depende de los índices de frecuencia y de gravedad de las lesiones. Estos sucesos han provocado una incapacidad permanente parcial en las víctimas, lo que refleja que la situación amerita tomar acciones de intervención. Como una alternativa de solución a la problemática se establece un programa de prevención de accidentes laborales por factores de riesgo mecánico en el área de mantenimiento de camiones hidrogrúa, enfocado en el control y la vigilancia de la salud.

    ABSTRACT This investigation project was made into tannery Palahua which is a small industrial enterprise located in Tungurahua Province, in that factory there where several labour accidents, then was necesary to do an evaluation about Industrial Security conditions in their plant and all workplaces; first the evaluation was did by a comparison using a main list with legal obligations and after with a main list checking requirements of Ecuadorian Technical Standard INEN 2537:2010 (a standard suitable for small enterprises). The workplaces and their factors risks in each one of they were identified and analyzed. Like a final part and main aim in this project was do an effective proposal about a Security Industrial program using strategies - discipline, knowledges and control- to ensure the success on prevention of job accidents and relating events.

    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This research paper describes a study based on a diagnosis made with the initial risk matrix established by the Ministry of Labour of Ecuador, applied in each of the work areas of the Municipal Camal City Ambato, this study is in measuring the dose of illumination uniformity factor and the reflection factor; to detect non - existing in the current lighting system conformities, according to the parameters outlined in the regulations. The primary objective is to create a culture of prevention with a manual of procedures adequate for lighting management physical risk, where measurement and sampling strategies are established; in addition to the control measures for all workers in both the operational and administrative area for the eradication of occupational accidents and diseases as a result of daily exposure.

    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The present research the identification, evaluation and control of mechanical hazards and their impact on occupational safety in the company Guritbalsaflex Cia Ltda, the study will be conducted to know the inner details of the factory as infrastructure, machinery and equipment, shift work, work environment (working conditions), machining process, mainly traffic areas and personnel exposed in each of the positions or workplaces that presents the process of development of balsa wood panels, surveys and interviews with real information of what happens in this process, achieving responses required for subsequent statistical analysis, after obtaining such information occupational risks identified by the safety analysis work (AST), after it is estimated and quantified occupational hazards present at each position and / or work area using the matrix of occupational hazards of the National Institute of Safety and Occupational Health of Spain (INSHT) and quantification of mechanical hazards using the NTP 330 matrix INSHT, with the results of the latter a control program technical management of mechanical hazards arise, improving sub conditions standards with correction results criticizes very urgent, running implementation, prior to management meetings for explanation and approval, plus a procedure for investigating accidents and occupational incidents with their respective records for implementation is made, so this will be obtained statistical information on accidents and finally the operational instructions of comprehensive work on the production line process is performed to standardize daily tasks, in order to reduce or minimize the main occupational hazards present in the machining processes or work areas they can affect the physical integrity of the worker, achieving a safer working environment.

    Gestión de riesgos mecánicos para la prevención de accidentes laborales en la empresa de servicios de ingeniería eléctrica SIE

    Se presenta una Gestión de Riesgos, cuya finalidad es identificar, estimar, evaluar y controlar los riesgos existentes para prevenir los accidentes proponiendo un manual de procedimientos de prevención. Se aplica las siguientes técnicas: observación, encuesta en el formato varios criterios, matriz de riesgos INSHT, se aplicaron métodos de evaluación como chi cuadrado para verificación de hipótesis y William fine para valoración de riesgos mecánicos. Se determina la magnitud de riesgo por puesto de trabajo, se obtuvo como riesgos intolerables a los riesgos mecánicos, estableciendo un plan de prevención de riesgos para poder establecer un mejor entendimiento de los riesgos, incentivando al trabajador por un ambiente de trabajo seguro, además de la manera en que deberán actuar en emergencias. Al evaluar los riesgos para establecer un control se presenta manuales de procedimientos de: política de seguridad, identificación y evaluación de riesgos; instructivos de trabajos seguro para prevenir los riesgos. ABSTRACT One Risk Management, which aims to identify, measure, assess and control the risks to prevent accidents proposing a manual prevention procedures is presented. The following techniques are applied: observation, survey format several criteria, risk matrix INSHT, evaluation methods were applied as chi square for hypothesis testing The magnitude of risk per job is determined, was obtained as intolerable risks to mechanical hazards, establishing a plan for risk prevention in order to establish a better understanding of risks, encouraging the worker for a safe working environment, besides the how they should act in emergencies. In assessing the risks to establish control procedures manuals presents: security policy, identification and risk assessment; insurance instructional work to prevent risks.
