    Modelo de gestión por procesos en el Tecnicentro de la empresa Cauchosierra S.A.

    CauchoSierra S.A. is a leading company in the retreading of tires nationwide, has a fundamental pillar which is the technicenter where its services are provided; however, this technicenter lacks a formal structure of process management, since problems were identified as the lack of standardization of activities, generating loss of resources and reprocesses, there is also a large number of customer complaints, which directly affects the quality of service provided. An initial diagnosis was made by analyzing the work flow, the roles and responsibilities of the personnel, as well as the interactions with the clients. Based on these findings, the processes were classified into strategic, operational and support processes, which were represented in the process map. Eleven operational processes were identified, which were described through characterization diagrams that include the SIPOC diagram and the relationship of the activities with the PHVA cycle. Finally, indicators were established to help control the process. In order to standardize operating processes, work instructions have been developed that describe in detail the way in which each process must be carried out. These instructions include a flow chart showing the sequential order of the activities to be performed. Additional information was also recorded, such as the required personal protective equipment, measures and recommendations for preventing accidents based on past incidents, as well as signage of the associated risks, and finally, informative documents were created on handling loads, conditions for rejecting casings, and the procedure for loading and securing tires. Finally, we developed the procedure manuals of the operative processes that contain information that is not detailed in the instructions in a more extensive way and with documents that help to control the indicators.

    Process management is the first step to improve performance levels of them within an organization, by virtue of which the standardized information guidelines allow adding value to processes, products, goods or services, so that there is a focus on continuous operations improvement for the sole purpose of meeting the needs or even exceed the expectations and / or requirements of customers. Through this research the development, a process management model is proposed for the yogurt production line of "Lácteos AMILAC" company. In which, it was evidenced that the main problem of the organization is related to the work methods used by the operators to carry out their operations, since they are developed without an adequate control, due to poor organization of work; generating delays and errors in the production because of the lack of well-defined and standardized procedures, reflecting in waste for company. In such virtue, we started with a survey of the information and processes in order to make a diagnosis of the current situation of the company. In this survey it was identified that the yogurt production line is made up of the phases of preparation, mixing, packaging, and storage; and each of these phases is composed of their respective sub-processes, which were reflected in a process map of the organization, together with the strategic and support processes of the company. Finally, to generate the proposal for improving the production process, a procedures manual was prepared to standardize yogurt manufacturing operations through procedures, registers and instructions that will serve to train and guide personnel, while increasing productivity and optimizing company resources.

    Plan de mantenimiento centrado en la confiabilidad para la inyectora de poliuretano de la Empresa Calzado Marcia-Búffalo Industrial

    La presente investigación tiene como objetivo establecer un plan de mantenimiento centrado en la confiabilidad para la máquina inyectora de poliuretano en la empresa “Calzado Marcia - Buffalo Industrial”, la cual presenta averías o fallas en los diferentes sistemas de la máquina, debido al desgaste de sus componentes, inadecuado manejo por parte del operador y la falta de mantenimiento, lo que ocasiona paradas de planta, incremento de costos en mantenimiento y por ende baja calidad en el producto. La aplicación de la metodología del Mantenimiento Centrado en la Confiabilidad (MCC), contempla no solamente el estudio de la máquina como tal sino de los sistemas que lo conforman y la interacción con el medio físico que lo rodea, por lo cual se definió: sistemas, componentes y la función de desempeño de la maquina inyectora de poliuretano, obteniendo 13 sistemas y 81 subsistemas para los cuales se realizó un análisis de criticidad en la que se evalúo: la frecuencia de fallas, impacto y flexibilidad operacional, costo de mantenimiento e impacto a la seguridad, ambiente e higiene, con lo que se pudo establecer los sistemas críticos, semi-criticos y no críticos de la máquina, partiendo de este resultado se realizó la identificación de los problemas que dificultan el normal funcionamiento de la máquina inyectora, mediante el análisis de modos y efectos de falla ( AMEF), además se calculó el número de prioridad de riesgo (NPR) que evalúa la gravedad, ocurrencia y detección de la falla, permitiendo la generación de acciones sobre las fallas. Mediante el desarrollo de la metodología se obtuvo que 22 subsistemas presentan un nivel crítico y 15 semi-critico, para los que se aplicó procedimientos de: elaboración de hojas de información MCC, hojas de decisión MCC y procedimientos de mantenimiento preventivo, con esto se espera reducir el tiempo de paradas de planta, costes de mantenimiento, e incrementar la vida útil de los componentes de la máquina, mejorando la capacidad de producción y el rendimiento del equipo.
