Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2023-09) Mendes Ortiz, Henry Ricardo; Mariño Rivera, Christian JoséThis research project is focused on analysing the ergonomic risk factors in the poultry sheds of the company "Avícola Pérez", in order to determine the main causes that generate musculoskeletal disorders and ailments, analysing the working conditions to identify the tasks that affect the physical deterioration of the workers. Implementing various research and evaluation methodologies, such as; the Kuorinka Nordic questionnaire that allowed us to determine the most affected body areas (neck, dorsal and lumbar area). The ISO TR 12295:2014 technical standard allowed us to determine that manual lifting of loads, repetitive movements and pushing or pulling loads are the ergonomic risk factors with the highest prevalence in the tasks performed by the workplace. The assessment of the ergonomic risk due to repetitive movements was carried out using the OCRA Check List method, showing an "Uncertain and Unacceptable" risk level in the poultry shed worker position. For the risk due to manual lifting of loads, the INSHT Technical Guide was used, showing a "Not tolerable" risk level in relation to the weight handled in a single lift and the total weight transported daily (PTTD) presented a "Tolerable" risk level. Finally, the risk from load pushing was assessed using ISO 11228-2:2019 in conjunction with the Snook and Ciriello Tables showing an "Unacceptable" risk level. Based on these results, a proposal for improvement is put forward that focuses on preventing, correcting and controlling the working conditions to which workers are exposed, through the use of intervention strategies and the development of instructions in order to safeguard the integrity and health of employees. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2023-03) Sinchiguano Landeta, Jorge Wladimir; Sánchez Rosero, Carlos HumbertoThe present research work is aimed at the personnel in charge of administrative activities in the offices of the Financial Department of the Municipality of Saquisilí Canton, due to the fact that they do not maintain an appropriate posture during their working day and do not take corrective actions, either because of lack of knowledge or because they have the wrong idea of comfort. The people who work in these jobs usually do not have a correct posture when using the computer equipment, generating an increase in the level of ergonomic risk and increasing the probability of suffering Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD). The main objective of the research is to develop an ergonomic assessment to determine the level of risk to which they are exposed and thus develop a proposal for improvement in the workstations. Using the GTC-45 matrix, the risks present were identified, mainly ergonomic risks, which represent 69%, and through the assessment it was established as a "not acceptable" risk. Through the application of the Nordic Questionnaire, it was checked whether the workers present ailments in the different body areas and with the ROSA ergonomic evaluation method, the final scores were obtained which, according to the method, ensure that the workers present an "extreme risk" level and require urgent action in each work post. With the results obtained from the assessment it is concluded that the workers are affected by incorrect postures and inadequate conditions at the workstations. In view of this situation, an ergonomic risk prevention system was developed, which includes the dimensions of the furniture by means of an anthropometric study, the correct postures at the workstations and the exercises to be carried out during active breaks. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2023-03) Raura Velasco, Jeniffer Maricela; López Arboleda, Jessica Paolan the concrete prefabrication industry, palletizing activities have been associated with direct ergonomic risks that could negatively impact the health of workers, ranging from injuries to occupational diseases. In this context, this study aimed to identify and evaluate working conditions that generate ergonomic risks due to forced postures, in order to establish preventive measures that could minimize their effects. The REBA method was applied to assess ergonomic risk due to forced postures, which allowed for the evaluation of the entire body in two groups: Group A, which includes the trunk, neck, and legs, and Group B, which includes the upper limbs, arm, forearm, and wrist. The evaluation was conducted on a total of 12 workers in the finished product palletizing area. The results revealed a predominance of high and very high level risk on both the left and right sides of the body in the activities of placing wooden pallets, accumulating products, and stacking metal boards. Therefore, the development of collaborative and appropriate tools is necessary to minimize the consequences of exposure to ergonomic risks, such as an active pause program and health surveillance and training procedures for workers. These measures could generate a positive impact on the personnel in the palletizing area, creating a healthy and safe work environment for carrying out activities. Maestría en Seguridad e Higiene Industrial y Ambiental, 2017) Cruz Salazar, Héctor Rodrigo; Rivera Escobar, Mario FernandoEXECUTIVE SUMMARY The present research work was born from the need to identify the musculoskeletal discomfort of users of data visualization screens (PVD) of the administrative area of the University Technological Indoamérica, who, by adopting forced postures and performing repetitive movements in their activities Suffer from discomfort in bones, joints and muscles. For the evaluation, the RULA method (rapid assessment of upper extremities) was taken as a reference and with the results knowing if corrective measures are necessary. As a second evaluation tool, we used the Nordic Questionnaire, which was applied to the 16 users. Relevant and reliable results of the ergonomic evaluation were obtained which require a more detailed estimate and possibly some changes, which were compared with the standards, establishing final results according to the application of the RULA method and the application of the Nordic questionnaire. They concluded with the proposal of a program of follow-up of the health of the users that we put to consideration before the executives of the Institution. Finally, it should be mentioned that according to the evaluations and analysis of results, the administrative user against the PVD must be trained by the appropriate personnel to acquire discipline in their positions and movements while performing their tasks. Maestría en Seguridad e Higiene Industrial y Ambiental, 2017) Montaguano Rugel, Franklin Humberto; Rivera Escobar, Mario FernandoEXECUTIVE SUMMARY Musculoskeletal disorders caused by exposure to dysergonomic risks such as forced postures, overexertion, repetitive movements, inappropriate furniture and even the working environment are very common in office work or administrative areas. Therefore, the investigation is directed to the personnel of the administrative area of the company REPREMARVA CIA. LTDA., It analyzes the disergonomic risks to which they are exposed and their incidence in the musculoskeletal disorders that can present and being able to take measures of control. To determine that workers are exposed to these risks, the IPER matrix was applied under the parameters of the INSHT for the Evaluation of Occupational Risks, the results obtained indicate that the personnel can suffer musculoskeletal disorders due to the exposure to disergonomic risks. The identified disergonomic risks were applied nationally and internationally to be able to measure and evaluate them as: sedentary OWAS (forced postures), RULA (overexertion), Job Strain Index (repetitive movements), R.M. 375 2008 TR (furniture) and in working environment was measured (noise lighting and thermal comfort), with certified equipment. As a proposal to minimize the disergonomic risks in the administrative area, it is developed: SGSI-PL-01 Program of prevention of disergonomic risk containing engineering and administrative control measures
