Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información, 2025-02) Masaquiza Pilla Edison David; Mayorga Mayorga Franklin OswaldoThe importance of technical assistance systems in financial institutions is fundamental to optimize the quality of services and user experience. Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Rhumy Wara within its institutional and technological growth plan has generated challenges that require attention and resolution by IT staff. To address these incident management problems, we propose the elimination of inefficient processes and the use of free software as an effective and sustainable solution. This project addresses the problem of incident management, considering that institutional growth has increased the frequency of technical problems. The absence of an efficient system to register and follow up on incidents limits their timely resolution, affecting the operational continuity of the organization. These problems have been solved with the application of the Lean methodology through its 6 phases, aligned with the cooperative's standards, which contributed significantly to improving incident management processes. This methodology made it possible to identify failures, eliminate waste and dispense with unnecessary elements, adjusting each phase to the specific needs of the institution. The implementation of GLPI (Gestionnaire Libre de Parc Informatique) is carried out using free software, an alternative that optimizes costs and is an effective and viable solution for both small and large institutions. The application is deployed on an AlmaLinux server, virtualized through Hyper-V, guaranteeing the security and integrity of the information. This tool will provide the institution's users with an official channel to register and manage their incidents, thus improving communication and the resolution of technical problems.Item Sistema de gestión por procesos para el área de pintura de plásticos en la ensambladora de vehículos Ciudad del Auto Ciauto Cía. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2025-02) Sánchez Rojas Doménica Anais; Mariño Rivera Christian JoséThe implementation of a standardized system has become a key strategy for optimizing operations. In this context, the present research, conducted within the framework of the automotive industry, proposes the establishment of a Process Management System based on the principles of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. This system serves as an improvement proposal for the Plastic Painting process at CIAUTO, a company located in Ambato that has been assembling vehicles since 2013. With activities spanning welding, painting, assembly, and testing lines, the primary objective is the standardization and documentation of processes to enhance efficiency and productivity while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The initial analysis of the company’s situation was conducted through direct observation and an interview with the head of the Painting Plant. This analysis identified several issues, including the absence of documented procedures, non-compliance with operational sequences, and tasks performed empirically. These shortcomings resulted in unproductive times, defective products, and a lack of controls to evaluate process performance. For the study, the SWM G01-F model was selected due to its workload demands. Processes were classified by developing a flow diagram and process characterizations using SIPOC diagrams, which identified suppliers, inputs, processes, outputs, and customers. Furthermore, detailed work instructions were created for the 13 operations. To standardize the process, standard times were determined, and a line balancing chart was developed to ensure an efficient distribution of tasks, minimize idle times, and guarantee a continuous flow between stations. Weaknesses were identified, and specific improvements were proposed for the system. Finally, a process and procedure manual were developed to serve as a guide for staff training. This manual includes detailed descriptions of activities as well as records for monitoring the production system. The focus is on continuous improvement, compliance with quality standards, and customer satisfaction.Item Diseño de un sistema de gestión de calidad basado en la norma ISO 9001:2015 en la fábrica de helados ‘Rey de los Andes’(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2025-02) Guerra Molina Anthony Josué; Ureña Aguirre Jeanette del PilarThe present research focuses on a Quality Management System (QMS) desing in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standard for Rey de los Andes ice cream factory, a company dedicated to the production and sale of high – quality ice creams. The main objective of the project is to ensure that this organization complies with international quality standards, optimizing operations and increasing customer satisfaction. The study began with company’s strategic, operational, and support processes identification through the creation of a process map that illustrates how these processes are interrelated. Subsequently, an evaluation was carried out to determine the compliance degree of the requirements established by ISO 9001:2015 standard, using a checklist applied to chapters 4 through 10. Results have shown that the company achieved a compliance level of 47.45% with strengths in chapters related to operation and support, but areas for improvement in chapters related to performance evaluation and leadership. Finally, the required documentation for the QMS was generated, including procedures, matrices, records, formats, and instructions that meet the standard. This information is organized into a quality manual, which serves as a guide to implement, maintain, and improve the QMS. By adopting this system, the company will be able to enhance its processes, ensure the quality of its products, and strengthen its competitiveness at market.Item Sistema web para la gestión de los procesos administrativos educativos e informativos dentro de la institución fiscomisional “Fray Bartolomé de las Casas”.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. This report focuses on the implementation of a comprehensive management system at the "Fray Bartolomé de las Casas" institution. To achieve this objective, an investigation of administrative, educational, and informational processes was conducted through interviews and surveys. This analysis revealed 11 processes that required intervention. The resolution of these processes was achieved through a analysis of requirements and functionalities, opting for the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach supported by Angular and the VS Code IDE. This approach allowed flexibility in incorporating prototypes, agile changes, and efficient reuse of code and components. Angular stood out for its reusability and adaptability to changes, while VS Code, with its extensive extensions, provided effective guidance for development, facilitating quick error correction. The implementation of security policies was prioritized to strengthen the robustness of the developing software, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of information. The result was software with 100% acceptance, highlighting its user-friendliness and utility. This implementation represents a significant step towards the modernization and strengthening of educational and administrative processes in the institution. Maestría en Producción y Operaciones Industriales, 2023) Solis Caceres, Johanna del Cisne; Ortiz Guerrero, Daysi MargaritaEl presente proyecto de investigación está enfocado en desarrollar un sistema de gestión por procesos con el fin de mejorar la productividad en la línea de furgones de la empresa Carrocerías Varma S.A, por medio de la recolección de información, el levantamiento de las actividades inmersas en cada proceso, el estudio de tiempos, con la elaboración de un mapa de procesos se identificó que existen actividades que no agregan valor al proceso productivo así también, las actividades y los procesos que realizan los operarios no poseen un adecuado control, ya que las mismas se realizan sin una correcta estandarización de los procedimientos, por lo que se desarrolló un manual de procedimientos para cada área, basado en el modelo de gestión por procesos. En tal virtud, se dio inicio con el diagnóstico de la empresa, para posterior realizar el levantamiento de cada uno de los procesos mediante su identificación, descripción y clasificación, mismas que fueron plasmadas en fichas técnicas para su estandarización. Además, se realizó un estudio de tiempos, el manual de procedimientos consta de instructivos y registros que permitirán a los operarios obtener una guía para realizar sus actividades. Con la ayuda de la planificación sistemática de la distribución de la planta se obtiene una distribución adecuada y se logra la reducción de los tiempos de producción en un 20% por ende un incremento en la productividad de 0,023 a 0,031.Item Sistema de información para la gestión de procesos de la Corporación de Asociaciones Comunitarias de Cotopaxi y Tungurahua(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. These systems help to process, store and distribute information efficiently, allowing employees to work optimally and make decisions based on reliable and real information, the importance of information systems lies in the automation of processes, where the efficiency, reduces human errors and saves time and costs, likewise guarantees updated and available information. The purpose of this project is the development of a web system for the Corporation of Community Associations of Cotopaxi and Tungurahua, which will help the automation of information of the processes of registration of attendance to activities and letters from children, the same that will be done quickly and effectively, obtaining an organization of data to get more influx of children in the Corporation. The most relevant concepts will also be presented, in order to be able to develop and implement the web system, with the appropriate techniques and methodologies according to the user's requirements. The objective of this research is the elaboration of an Administrative Processes Manual for the Construction and Maintenance Unit of the Public Works Directorate, the problema arises from the lack of information and structuring to carry out the development of the administrative process that will be executed later on. The methodology applied in the study process is qualitative and investigative, since all the necessary information has been collected to be able to carry out the work. The type of research carried out is field research, so allowing for direct information on the problems identified, and flow charts are used to better understand the description and análisis of each process. The research techniques used are direct interviews with the head of the unit and to survey of the unit employes. Information collection sheets are used, which will be used to gather information and prepare the manual. The proposal is based on the administrative processes that are carried out in the administrative área of the unit, the respective flowchart is included; where the employe will be able to know the flow of the procedure to be executed. This will achieve that new personel and those who do not comply with the job profile will have knowledge of the process to be followed. The manual will avoid, as far as posible, that the work is done empirically by the employe.Item Estudio de tiempos y movimientos para el proceso productivo de la lavandería Dervith Colors(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2023-03) Condo Zurita, Kerly Lizbeth; Ortiz Guerrero, Daysi MargaritaThe present research work was developed in the Laundry Dervith Colors in the production process to obtain the color Stone 1 ½ with crafts (broken or whiskers) being the preferred color by customers. A study of times and movements was applied with the aim of standardizing the work done and therefore improving the efficiency of the processes, for which initially the current situation of the company was identified with the collection and survey of activities organizing them in analytical cursograms, man-machine diagrams, flow diagrams among other tools, This was possible through interviews with the person in charge of the company and the manager in addition to direct observation in the field visits carried out. For the taking of times of the activities, continuous timing was used, then the standard time per activity was calculated based on the performance factor and supplements according to the parameters already established. In the development of the research, the shortcomings in the productive process are identified in order to select the appropriate tools for the improvement of the working method; this is how the standardization of the working method is established through the work instructions in which the reduction of 32.35 minutes is reflected, which represents the improvement of 17.37%, as well as the improvement of the distribution of work and machines is evidenced in the increase of the service capacity from 8 batches / day to 11 batches / day with three synchronous machines. Finally, with the balance of lines it is possible to balance as much as possible the productivity times in each workstation but mainly the one used by the operators involved in these activities, thus achieving the reduction of leisure time from 90.15 to 25.36 minutes and the reduction of six workstations to four and therefore the number of operators since one operator is employed for each station, obtaining a working method with 87.34% efficiency.Item Gestión por procesos en la línea de producción de yogurt de la empresa PROALPI MILAC(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2023-01) Medina Chicaiza, Fabián Gustavo; Lema Chicaiza, Freddy RobertoNowadays and worldwide, managing processes has become the first step to improve the performance levels in all types of industries, so that companies are in a constant look for standardized guidelines that allow them to remain competitive in market, with sole purpose of satisfying needs, requirements and expectations of customers. Research development exposes a process management model for the yogurt production line of PROALPI MILAC company; the main problems of this organization lie in the fact that it does not define a standardized production due to the lack of key documentation that guides the operators to develop their activities in an optimal way, giving way to raw material waste increase and other resources related to production. The objective of this study is to provide the company with a documented process support with clear, concise and orderly information, so that operations can be performed in a systematic way; For this purpose, it was started by analyzing the current situation of the production line through a survey of information to identify the processes that are carried out for the yogurt manufacture, jointly with the process map of the company in order to have a concrete and global vision of all the processes of the organization, thus establishing mechanisms such as manuals, procedures, records and guides to better describe necessary tasks for yogurt production to improve the operators performance. For this reason, it is proposed to prepare a procedures manual for the yogurt production line to organize and structure the documented information of the organization; this document will also serve as a primary element of consultation, training and induction of workers.
