    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This thesis project aims to specifically address psychosocial risks affecting staff at “Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Oscus Ltda”, through a system based on prevention by applying the questionnaire with the ISTAS 21 methodology which is a valid international approach. As a result of this research a plan of prevention is presented, the same which is identified as being applied to avoid significant risks and unfavorable matters for the health of the staff at “Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Oscus Ltda”, moreover the Security Unit of Occupational Health and General Management can make the necessary corrections to the faithful compliance with the existing legislation and be able to reduce the harmful effects on the health of workers.

    Factores psicosociales y la salud laboral en operadores de máquinas inyectoras de botas de PVC del área de calzado plástico de la Empresa Plasticaucho Industrial de la ciudad de Ambato

    El presente proyecto de tesis pretende abordar de manera específica los riesgos psicosociales que afectan a los operadores de máquinas inyectoras de botas de PVC y mediante un enfoque basado en la prevención aplicar cuestionarios con validez internacional como es la metodología ISTAS21. Como resultado de este trabajo de investigación se presenta un plan de prevención de los riesgos significativos identificados como desfavorables para la salud de los operadores de máquinas inyectoras en el área de calzado plástico de la empresa PLASTICAUCHO INDUSTRIAL, de tal manera que la gerencia general pueda tomar los correctivos necesarios para el fiel cumplimiento de la legislación vigente y de manera principal mitigar los efectos nocivos para la salud de los trabajadores. SUMMARY This thesis Project pretends to tackle specifically psychosocial risks affecting workers operating PVC injection machinery based on prevention, to evaluate such risks using quizzes such as ISTAS21 which has an international validity. As a result of this investigation we present a preventive plan of significant risks identified as not beneficial to the Plastic injection footwear workers of PLASTICAUCHO INDUSTRIAL, in such a way that General Management will be able to make the necessary corrections to comply with the current legislation and more importantly to mitigate the adverse facts to the occupational health.
