Carrera de Software, 2024-08) Núñez Vaca, Christian Francisco; Naranjo Ávalos, Hernán FabricioIn Ecuador, the Comptroller General of the State (CGE) supervises the use of state resources in the Municipal Decentralized Autonomous Governments (Municipal GADs) through audits that generate crucial recommendations. The Municipality of Ambato faces difficulties in tracking and implementing these recommendations due to inefficient systems, making it challenging to meet the established deadlines. This project aimed to develop and implement a recommendation management system using Oracle APEX and the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology to improve efficiency and effectiveness in managing these recommendations. The system leveraged Oracle APEX for integration with existing technologies, while the XP methodology facilitated agile and collaborative development. Additionally, Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) was used to optimize work processes, allowing for the automation and centralization of information, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and reducing errors. To evaluate the usability of the system, a survey based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was applied, validated with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.95, indicating high internal consistency. The results revealed a high acceptance of the system among users, demonstrating its effectiveness and efficiency. Thus, the developed system has significantly optimized the management of recommendations, improving internal communication. The use of Oracle APEX and the XP methodology has laid the foundation for future improvements and technological expansions within the institution, thereby promoting better use of state resources and greater transparency in management.Item Aplicación web de aprendizaje (LMS) personalizado para la institución de formación gastronómica ENAG(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Software, 2024-08) Aguacunchi Tuasa, Marcelo Vladimir; Ibarra Torres, Oscar FernandoThis research work focuses on the development of a customized Learning Management System (LMS) for the Gastronomic Training Institution “ENAG” in Ecuador. This project arises in response to the need to modernize the educational and administrative processes of the institution, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic that highlighted deficiencies in existing educational platforms. Using a field and bibliographic research methodology, information was collected through interviews and questionnaires applied to teachers and students. The results, evaluated using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), indicated a high perception of usefulness and ease of use of the proposed LMS. The system allows optimizing course management, improving communication and providing effective follow-up to trainees, thus contributing to a significant improvement in the quality of gastronomic training. The conclusions highlight the need for continuous training for users, the implementation of web and mobile applications, and the development of specific tools for internship management.Item Aplicación web centralizada para la gestión y atención de turnos de las sucursales de la EP-EMAPA-A(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Software, 2024-02) Jiménez Castro, Javier Alexander; Ibarra Torres, Oscar FernandoThe present project arises in response to the need to initiate a process of improvement and automation of the turn generation and service process at EP-EMAPA-A, currently carried out manually, inefficiently, and ineffectively, leading to limitations for both clients and workers. The purpose of this research was to implement a centralized application for managing and attending to turns in the company's branches. In this context, data collection techniques such as interviews and surveys were used to identify the needs and requirements for project development. The RAD (Rapid Application Development) methodology was employed to achieve constant client feedback. SQL Server was used as the database management system, and React JS was employed for the application development. The TAM and UTAUT models were utilized to assess the acceptance and adoption of the application. This proposal optimized the generation, allocation, and handling of turns, while also enhancing the reporting process, providing the company with comprehensive information. Additionally, it opened the possibility of exploring the implementation of a decision support system to improve analysis and decision-making processes.Item Sistema de gestión de historias clínicas y telemedicina orientado al departamento médico Gad Municipalidad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Software, 2023-09) Barriga Sánchez, Ludwing José; Jara Moya, Santiago DavidMedical records are registers that collect information such as treatments, diagnoses. histories, and medical prescriptions for each patient. These documents are managed manually at the bottom of losing reports and difficulties in accessing them. This research aimed to propose the implementation of a medical records and telemedicine management system for the "GAD Municipalidad de Ambato". In this part. questionnaires and interviewing were employed as data collection methods to determine the institution's issues as they arose. In the same way, the fundamental requirements for the development of the system were collected. Rapid Application Development (RAD), a methodology that promotes quick and client-focused development through features like ongoing client feedback and prototyping, was employed in the development process. For the software development procedure. Oracle was the database manager. Apex Oracle for the web application, and Flutter for the mobile application. The TAM model played a fundamental role since it demonstrated that 87% of the participants were satisfied with the usability characteristics and ease of use of the system. In addition, the T Student Test evidenced that the time spent creating medical records was reduced considerably by 33% of using the current system. Additionally, online services were employed to integrate online and mobile applications, enabling the system to exchange data in real-time. To increase the precision of medical evaluation, the field of artificial intelligence application in terms of algorithms has been advanced for exploration.
