    Incidencia del video educativo como recurso didáctico en el aprendizaje de electromecánica automotriz en el nivel de bachillerato.

    El trabajo de titulación aborda la falta de utilización de herramientas didácticas, específicamente el video educativo como recurso dentro del aula clase, por lo que se plantea considerar que los docentes no hacen uso de esta herramienta didáctica en la asignatura de motores a combustión interna dentro de la figura profesional del bachillerato técnico, se identifica esta carencia como un obstáculo para la significativa adquisición de conocimientos por parte de los estudiantes, se plantea como objetivo principal analizar la incidencia del video educativo como recurso didáctico en el aprendizaje de electromecánica automotriz en el nivel de bachillerato, con la finalidad de optimizar la función formadora de los docentes en términos de educación integral. La metodología adaptada, en este trabajo de investigación tiene un enfoque cualicuantitativo, fundamentada en el enfoque de investigación-acción y respaldada por el método fenomenológico. Se emplean diversas modalidades, incluyendo la investigación de campo y la investigación bibliográfica documental. Las técnicas de recopilación de los datos utilizados son la encuesta y la entrevista dirigida tanto a los estudiantes como a docentes respectivamente. Los resultados obtenidos revelan que el uso del video educativo por parte de los docentes mejora significativamente el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes, tanto en las clases teóricas como prácticas dentro los talleres de la institución y aula clase, esta metodología fomenta la creatividad y el aprendizaje colaborativo. Las conclusiones extraídas subrayan el éxito xii de la implementación del video educativo, evidenciado por una mayor participación en comparación con las clases tradicionales, donde se observa una apatía hacia la asignatura. Los estudiantes perciben esta estrategia como innovadora y motivadora, generando un entorno propicio para el proceso de aprendizaje. La participación y colaboración en las clase se manifiesta de manera elocuente, confirmando la eficacia del enfoque didáctico propuesto la misma que demuestra ser una estrategia pedagógica exitosa, mejorando la experiencia de aprendizaje y fomentando la participación activa de los estudiantes

    Multimedia elements in the listening skill comprehension in students of superior education.

    This investigation is derived from the need to improve the listening comprehension in students of the Francisco de Orellana Technological Institute, through the implementation of the use of a platform where students can perform selected tasks using audio-video resource. The education in this institution requires more technological implements, since; the English learning process requires transformative methods for efficient listening comprehension. Currently, technological tools are valuable resources to achieve a high level of listening comprehension. This qualitative-proactive research describes the qualities of the phenomenon. This investigation showed that the usual methods make the English classes does not significant and they become unattractive for the students, causing difficulties in the listening comprehension. The operationalization of variables based on a theoretical framework and the information collected from the students gave the basis to propose an on-line platform which contains listening activities to be developed by teachers and students everywhere as well as the results of the Pre-test have shown the need to find a solution to the problem for improving the listening comprehension of English language in the students of superior education. After the researcher‟s treatment, it was demonstrated that the use of multimedia elements through an on-line platform helped to improve the students‟ listening comprehension. This proposal will surely awaken interest in studying this foreign language and it will allow achieving meaningful learning in an effective way.

    Problem-based approach to develop the speaking skill in English

    The objective of this research was to analyze the influence of the Problem-Based Learning approach in the development of speaking skill in English. This research used a qualitative-quantitative approach. Also, it uses a quasi-experimental study because of the creation of a Moodle platform based on the Problem-Based Learning approach. The level of research was biographical and descriptive. The population embraced 53 students and 5 teachers of B1 level belonging to Language Center at Salache campus of Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi. This research used instruments such as a survey administered to teachers and students with the purpose of verifying the use of this approach. In addition, it was applied an oral pre and post-test in two groups of B1 level, in order to evaluate the effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning approach implementation to develop the speaking skill in English. B1 "F" level was assigned as the control group, while B1 "M" level was assigned as the experimental group. In order to verify the hypothesis of this investigation, the Chi-square test was used in surveys and in pre and post-test, they were verified with the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. It is concluded that the students improved considerably in their oral production after the intervention with the problem-based approach in the Moodle platform. The results showed that Chi-cuadardo, X²c = 90,998 has a higher value than X2t = 15, 5073, while in the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney test they had a value of (,000) which is less than (0,05); therefore, the null hypothesis was rejected. Furthermore, the results in the post-test showed an important development in fluency. Finally, a handbook was proposed for the use of virtual and face-to-face environments with activities focused on Problem-Based Learning and the speaking skill development.

    This research work is about "Cognitive content of the subject perception and meaningful learning of the students of the College of Arts "La Merced" in the city of Ambato", theme which is developed under the following aspects: taking into account firstly the approach to the problem, the contextualization, the problem tree as well as critical analysis; the justification is subsequently exposed to then propose an overall goal and four specific. Then is the theoretical framework the different kinds of foundations, to subsequently develop the fundamental categories related to the modular contents in study that will serve to improve the quality of music education. In this context raises the hypothesis with their respective variables. This study addresses methodological processes with their respective mode, the level and type of research as well as the population and sample to then determine the operationalization of variables as well as the process used for the collection of information. Participates in the analysis and interpretation of results through surveys applied to teachers, data that will be used to present the conclusions and recommendations of the inquiry. The main part is related to the proposal, which is about: "design by formative of the subject modules perception for the first and second years of the basic elementary of the College of Arts"La Merced"its development is supported by justification, the general and specific objectives, the structure and the development that will improve the quality of musical education based on the design of cognitive content whose beneficiaries are teachers and students the elementary basic level.

    The inclusive education should be seen as a process of addressing and responding to the diversity of needs of all learners through increasing participation in learning and reducing exclusion of the education system. Educational inclusion must respond and ensure the right to quality education through these children’s access and permanence. In the school, they have to acquire the appropriate knowledge and learning that help them to their social and personal development. The thesis work begins in Chapter First, in which the problem, the reason for the research, is raised, sustaining in this way the right approach to the problem. Here we delineate an analysis, description and identification of the elements which make up the object of this investigation. We also state the problem, justification, feasibility and we set objectives: general and specific. In the theoretical framework is described. It is supported by the theoretical foundation of the problem, the definitions, concepts and its theoretical professional position. The hypothesis and the operationalization of the variables are also established. The methodology used in this research work is detailed. Its target population and the data collection instruments used in our investigation are described. Moreover, the procedure, in which the summary of every step used for the execution of it, is described.

    Las técnicas de estudio y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de los décimos años de la Unidad Educativa Nicolás Martínez

    The present investigation work, is about techniques to study and the academic performance of the students of the Tenth Year of Basic General Education from San Bartolomé of Pinllo. It allows to know the effects that could be produced when having a limited application of the techniques to study; as well as disinterest and demotivation. This affects the academic performance of the students provided that they do not know how to organize their work and how to use techniques that promotes their learning, as a result their academic performance will be affected. After applying a survey, it was demonstrated that the students’ learning is in a neutral level. The survey also showed how the students organize and plan their academic activities. in In the theoretical framework, there are some guidelines that the students should practice. In addition, it is necessary that teachers produce meaningful results in the teaching and learning process. In order to do this, it is essential to develop teaching techniques and methods according to each subject. In this project, it was very important to know how the students get their knowledge and who needs to learn applying teaching methods that are used when the teachers plan. The evaluation at the end of each term shows the results the students had in the teaching-learning process. A complete change in the educational process is long. The techniques to study, and the parents’ and teachers’ help will help to achieve this goal: a quality and warmth education reaching the standards of living well.

    In the school of Basic Education "Teniente Hugo Ortiz" located in the parish Huachi Chico Magdalena industry, Province of Tungurahua, Ambato Canton within which the present research work arising from the need to determine the incidence develops observation and evaluation strategy and meaningful learning in identifying handicrafts. After conducting surveys and the corresponding analysis it was learned that a low number of teachers known to observation as evaluation strategy, this allows to determine that the education process is still traditional because exams, written lessons is still used. If the observation is applied as evaluation strategy will be easier to obtain a meaningful learning, especially in the area of Social Studies student observing will assess handicrafts from your town and at the time of evaluation draw their own comments, reflections and conclusions. It is stable conclusion and giving solution to the problem of research that teachers should consider observation and evaluation strategy, knowing that the evaluation process is and will be an effective way to reflect on the participation of stakeholders in the education process tool.

    Análisis crítico del aprendizaje y su relación con el informe de evaluación de la asignatura de ciencias naturales en los estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Hispano América

    The aim of this research paper is a quantitative approach not an experimental. It supports the necessity to promote the use of the critical analysis in learning and its relationship with the evaluation in the education learning process. The starting point of this research were some investigation results; we can see little training of the professors, as well as the incorrect application of techniques to do the critical analysis on the learning process. These facts produces low performance of some students. One hundred and one students that did not reach the required learning standards were chosen to develop this researching. It is necessary that the teacher promotes new learning strategies and evaluation techniques in order to choose the correct decisions about students and help them to improve the learning process. Teachers should design creative activities that encourages the capacity of the students in the learning process.

    This work of curriculum redesign matter of chemistry through planning Training Module, was carried out through literature research has been structured on the basis of the knowledge acquired in this diploma, the literature found about it, and experience lived daily in our work. This proposal is to replace the previous form of planning called didactic planning "units", to a more active, current and above all to provide new forms of assessment, involving individual differences and multiple intelligences of students and enable the meaningful learning through skills development and further training of skills.
