| dc.description | The productive labor structure has a significant impact on the country's economic growth and development. Thus, the high concentration of industries contributes to the generation of formal employment. Therefore, the main objective of the study is to analyze the economic concentration and labor productive structure of the multiple manufacturing activities in the province of Bolivar during the period 2012-2020. Using secondary data from INEC (National Institute of Statistics and Census). Two levels of research were carried out: First, a descriptive analysis, using regional analysis techniques such as: location coefficient, specialization and shift and share analysis, to identify in which activities are specialized and the diversity of products that the province of study has. Secondly, an explanatory study using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) made it possible to detect significant differences among the multiple activities. Among the main findings, it was identified that Bolivar specializes in food, textile and timber industries; these activities are the engine of the local economy, allowing for sustainable growth. Also, it has a high degree of diversification, despite being a small area, so that when an industry is in a recessionary stage, this loss is recovered with other activities that are growing, thus, the local economy remains in balance. Likewise, it was evidenced that it had a lower growth than the other regions and its activities are not very dynamic compared to the other territories. On the other hand, the multiple activities studied show significant differences in the averages of the productive labor structure. In conclusion, the province of Bolivar specializes in the manufacture of textile products, clothing and leather goods, has a high concentration of low-growth activities, and is therefore classified as a losing province. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La estructura productiva laboral impacta significativamente en el crecimiento y el desarrollo económico del país. De modo que, la gran concentración de industrias contribuye a la generación de empleo formal. Por ello, el estudio tiene como objetivo principal analizar la concentración económica y la estructura productiva laboral de las múltiples actividades manufactureras de la provincia de Bolívar durante el periodo 2012-2020. Utilizando datos de tipo secundario del INEC (Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos). Se realizó dos niveles de investigación: Primero un análisis descriptivo, en el mismo, se empleó técnicas de análisis regional como: Coeficiente de localización, especialización y análisis shift and share, para identificar en que actividades se especializa y la diversidad de productos que posee la provincia de estudio. Segundo un estudio explicativo mediante Análisis de Varianza (ANOVA), el mismo posibilitó detectar diferencias significativas entre las múltiples actividades. Entre los principales hallazgos se identificó que Bolívar se especializa en industrias de alimentos, textiles y maderera, estas actividades son el motor de la economía local, permitiendo un crecimiento sostenible. También, tiene un alto grado de diversificación, a pesar de ser una zona pequeña, de modo que, cuando una industria se encuentra en la etapa recesiva, esta pérdida se recupera con otras actividades que están en crecimiento, de esta manera, la economía local se mantiene en equilibrio. Así mismo, se evidenció que tuvo un crecimiento menor que las otras regiones y sus actividades son poco dinámicas frente a los demás territorios. Por otro lado, las múltiples actividades estudiadas presentan diferencias significativas en las medias de la estructura productiva laboral. En conclusión, la provincia de Bolívar se especializa en fabricación de productos textiles, prendas de vestir y artículos de cuero, tiene una alta concentración de actividades de poco crecimiento, por lo tanto, es catalogada como una provincia perdedora. | es_ES |
