Abstract
This work studies the washing and dyeing process of Stone type jeans in a company in the Pelileo sector called Dayantex, this focused on proposing practices that benefit the reduction of waste Lean & Green, the study was carried out under the quali-quantitative approach because the information gathering was through questions and interviews, and also acquired data from the process through diagrams and calculations. Also, an applied research was carried out since possible solutions are proposed, through the documentary bibliographic research was known about the subject of study, also the possible tools to control each waste were designated and finally with the field research evidence was taken, 5S audits to know the state of the company and to have an idea of the processes or activities need to improve. This was how by choosing the most demanded product through an ABC analysis, the flow of the value chain was studied with the VSM, which gave a baseline for the development of the study and define the waste and therefore the tools that could improve processes and times.
With the proposal of the 5S, Poka- Yoke and Jidoka, it is sought to reduce certain unnecessary transports, which are present in all processes, in addition solutions are proposed to avoid defects in the garments, with this a VSM was designed where the cycle time of the activities was reduced, after the improvements are executed. Finally, it was concluded that through the use of Lean & Green tools, significant improvements can be made in the industries with the commitment of all collaborators

El presente trabajo estudia el proceso de lavado y tinturado de jeans tipo Stone en una empresa del sector de Pelileo denominada Dayantex, este se enfocó en proponer prácticas que beneficien a la reducción de desperdicios Lean & Green, el estudio se llevó a cabo bajo el enfoque cuali-cuantitativo debido a que la toma de información fue mediante preguntas y entrevistas, y también se adquirió datos del proceso mediante diagramas y cálculos. Asimismo, se realizó una investigación aplicada ya que se proponen posibles soluciones, mediante la investigación bibliográfica documental se conoció sobre el tema de estudio, además se designó las posibles herramientas para controlar cada desperdicio y finalmente con la investigación de campo se tomó evidencias, auditorías 5S para saber el estado de la empresa y tener una idea de los procesos o actividades necesitan mejorar. Así fue como mediante la elección del producto más demandado mediante un análisis ABC, se estudió el flujo de la cadena de valor con el VSM, lo cual dio una línea base para el desarrollo del estudio y definir los desperdicios y por consiguiente las herramientas que podrían mejorar los procesos y los tiempos.
Con la propuesta de las 5S, Poka-Yoke y Jidoka se busca reducir ciertos transportes innecesarios, que son los presentativos en todos los procesos, además se plantean soluciones para evitar que se presenten defectos en las prendas, con esto se diseñó un VSM donde se redujo el tiempo de ciclo de las actividades, luego de que se ejecuten las mejoras. Finalmente, se concluyó que mediante el uso de herramientas Lean & Green se pueden realizar mejoras significativas en las industrias con el compromiso de todos los colaboradores.
