    Las actividades bomberiles en los procesos operativos de atención prehospitalaria e incendios y su incidencia en los trastornos musculoesqueléticos a nivel de columna

    SUMMARY In the present research work an ergonomic study focused on the area of the column within the framework of the firefighting activities developed during the structural, forest fire and prehospital combat by the operational firefighters, begins with a significant analysis of the jobs through the development of the initial risk matrix, analysis of the main activities, collection of the weights of protective implements and equipment used in emergencies and analysis of the results of occupational examinations of the operating staff column having the notion of the present problems, then the present ergonomic risks of the activities that within the initial risk matrix have entered into the control parameters are analyzed, by means of the selection of international evaluation methods according to the risk, this is how the following: REBA for postu forced, MAC for cargo handling; which allows to evaluate and determine the level of risk of the evaluated activities; having a technical base of the level of affectation that the personnel perceives during the attention of emergencies, finally, there are control measures that allow to control the detected risk, being the main measures the following ones: generation of a muscle strengthening program of the spine, program of adequate feeding according to the level of metabolic requirement of the activities to be developed and finally accompanied by procedures of the main tasks that are carried out within the activities of combat of forest fires, structural and prehospital care.

    Análisis de la capacidad instalada en la línea de ensamble del modelo M4 de la Ensambladora CIAUTO Cia. Ltda..

    El presente estudio abarca temas de investigación relacionados a la Capacidad de Producción Instalada, aplicando métodos concernientes a la medición del trabajo, enfocadas al análisis de tiempos y movimientos, con el fin de eliminar tiempos muertos, cuellos de botella, reducir componentes no conformes, mejorar condiciones de trabajo, logrando con ello generar un adecuado Balanceo de Líneas productivas que se acoplen al plan de producción en el ensamble del vehículo Modelo Great Wall M4 producido por la empresa CIAUTO. Inicialmente se realizó la identificación de los diferentes procesos de ensamble que se ejecutan en las diez estaciones de trabajo, para con ello efectuar la toma de tiempos mediante el empleo de cronómetro, logrando determinar el cuello de botella dentro del proceso de ensamble del Modelo M4, permitiendo de esta manera gestionar alternativas de solución para una producción de once unidades diarias. En la medición de tiempos se efectuó el cálculo de tiempo normal y estándar, con el fin de identificar en que áreas de trabajo se debe reasignar actividades, con el único objetivo de equilibrar la línea de ensamble obteniendo de esto una reducción de 10 minutos en el tiempo estándar, esto hace referencia a que por cada auto que anteriormente se ensamblaban se ahorran 10 minutos y de acuerdo al plan de producción que son de 11 unidades en una jornada laboral se optimizaría un total de 110 minutos, consiguiendo de esta manera una línea de ensamble equilibrada y ajustada al Takt Time determinado, con igual carga de trabajo, eficiente uso del talento humano y de los recursos con los que cuenta la empresa. En el análisis de la Capacidad Instalada (CI) se obtuvo un valor de 55, 2 vehículos/semanales, esto significa que la ensambladora en base a sus recursos, equipamiento e infraestructura está en la capacidad de ensamblar 55 Modelos M4 semanalmente que pasados a días se pueden producir 11,04 vehículos/diarios, este valor ratifica que además del cumplimiento del plan de producción fijado por el coordinador de ensamble se puede ensamblar cada lote de M4 correspondiente a 60 autos en una semana y un día aproximadamente, satisfaciendo de tal manera los pedidos de los clientes y la demanda del mercado nacional. SUMMARY The present study includes research topics related to the Installed Production Capacity, applying methods related to the measurement of work, focused on the analysis of times and movements, in order to eliminate downtimes, bottlenecks, reduce non-conforming components, improve working conditions, thus generating a proper balancing of lines productive that fit the production plan in the assembly of the vehicle model Great Wall M4 produced by the CIAUTO company. Initially was performed the identification of the different assembly processes that that were executed in the ten workstations, by through this make the time taking using a timer, managing to determine the bottleneck within the process of assembly of the M4 model, allowing in this way to manage alternative solutions for a production of eleven units daily. In the times measurement was performed calculated the normal and standard times, in order to better identify in which areas of work was should reassign activities, with the sole objective of balancing the assembly line, obtaining of this reduction 10 minutes in the standard time, this makes reference to that for each car that previously were assembled they are saved 10 minutes, and according to the production plan that are of 11 units in a working day would optimize a total of 110 minutes, getting this way a balanced assembly line and adjusted to the Takt Time determined, with equal workload, efficient use of human talent and resources with which the company has. In the analysis of installed capacity (CI) was obtained a value of 55, 2 vehicles / weekly, this means that the jointer based on their resources, equipment and infrastructure is in the ability to assemble 55 M4 models weekly that passed to days can to produce 11.04 vehicles / day, this value ratifies that in addition to the fulfillment of the production plan set by the assembly coordinator can be assembled each lot of M4 corresponding to 60 cars in a week and a day approximately, thus satisfying customer orders and the national market demand.

    Condiciones Ambientales y su incidencia con la fatiga laboral de los trabajadores en Cooperativas de Ahorro y Crédito

    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Managers of operating and service companies in Latin America, analyze the environmental work conditions, and consider it as a non-important factor in the performance of their workers; without considering that there should be adequate environmental conditions that guarantee the satisfaction of their employees and avoid problems and occupational illnesses. The present research begins with the exploratory study of the problem validation which relates to the symptoms of occupational fatigue; to obtain this data, the survey of the Yoshitake questionnaire was applied; In addition to an analysis of occupational hazards was developed using the risk matrix of the National Institute of Safety and Hygene. In order to get the results of environmental conditions, the measurements of the main physical risks were used, all this information will be applied in the Saving and Credit Cooperatives. The results showed: the levels of lighting in workstations were deficient, those don’t comply with the technical standard; 30 workers have symptoms of visual fatigue. It is concluded that the environmental conditions cause fatigue in the workers. The proposal is based on the design of the lighting distribution through a visual control plan and active pauses in order to avoid the visual fatigue of the employees.

    Control de inventarios para reducir el sobre stocks en la empresa “Seguvid Cía. Ltda.”

    This research work comprehensively addresses the stock problems that arise in the company "SEGUVID Cía. Ltda.” located in the city of Ambato, province of Tungurahua, where its business focus is the manufacture and distribution of structural, tempered, automotive, curved and flat glass. This study focuses on identifying, analyzing and proposing effective solutions to inventory-related challenges. Throughout the research, various aspects that contribute to inventory problems are examined, including lack of demand forecasting, inventory management errors, and supply chain deficiencies. The research aims to provide the company with practical tools and knowledge that will enable it to more effectively manage its inventories and minimize the risks associated with stock-outs, thereby improving its competitiveness and its ability to meet market demands. Through the application of the brainstorming technique, 11 possible causes that make it difficult to maintain optimal inventory levels were identified. Through the application of the 6M on quality and the fish diagram, the causes found were classified, and by means of the Pareto diagram the highest level causes were determined; finally, a problem tree diagram was used to determine the miscalculation of orders, lack of control methods and excessive purchases. With the application of the EOQ methodology, a study was carried out to determine the costs of ordering and maintaining inventory, which are equivalent to $ 8167.87 and $ 205.61 respectively; in addition to determining the number of orders to be placed in a year. Finally, to control the overstock, the EOQ methodology was applied to optimize the warehouse inventory. In addition, the use of the power of 2 policy allowed a better grouping of the orders to be placed and, through the 5S and EOQ implementation manual, a solution was found to several problems encountered in the IPISI methodolog

    Diseño de un sistema de gestión por procesos en entornos de bioseguridad en el área de producción de la empresa Textil CM Original.

    The purpose of this research project is to develop a process management system for the production area of the slipper company "CM Original" in order to standardize the operational processes carried out by the organization as a measure to normalize the development of the company's activities in the event of any unexpected closure of the facilities, as was the case with the COVID-19 pandemic, For this purpose, everything related to the activities execution such as responsibilities, inputs, outputs and resources used is documented, in addition to suggestions for good work practices with a focus on biosafety for the tasks execution and the indicators application that measure the company's processes performance. Through the application of a bibliographic research, knowledge of preventive measures against COVID-19, management by processes and actions for a safe return to the workplace was determined and established, in addition to the use of field research, the survey of processes was carried out, resulting in procedure manuals where all the necessary information for the correct execution of the processes for the production of the slippers is available, with tools such as diagrams, procedures and execution times, which allow the company to know and improve the interrelation of the operative processes from the preparation of the raw material to the packaging of the products for their dispatch, satisfying the requirements of its external and internal clients, measuring its development with indicators to take corrective and preventive measures for continuous improvement. In addition, with the suggested pandemic guidelines such as safe work practices, hygiene and health measures and work standards in safer environments, it was sought that the company can perform its daily work with occupational safety standards serving as a measure of protection for the company's employees.

    Diseño de un sistema de gestión por procesos en la empresa “Kipa Amaranto”

    The current project has as its purpose to design a process management system for the “KIPA AMARANTO” Company. Through the diagnosis of the current situation of the process management system, it was identified the lack of documentation in the productive processes that allow adequate control and fol low up of them; these generate delays, unproductive times, and repetitive tasks that do not generate added value Subsequently, a detailed analysis of the principal processes of the company was applied to be documented in a process map. The data of the ope rational processes were carried out using management tools such as process sheets, which describe the elements that make up production; flow charts, flow diagrams, and analytical flowcharts. In addition, control indicators were established and a time study was carried out to determine the standard time required for the execution of each product. Finally, process and procedure manuals were made to provide an improvement proposal for the productive development of the organization, through the standardization of the identified processes. These manuals present a structured manner of all the guidelines that must be taken into account to optimize operations and ensure the standardization of processes. The documents generated provide a clear and detailed guide on h ow to carry out each activity; which will facilitate the planning, execution, and evaluation of personnel training, improve supervision and job monitoring, and will contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of operations at "KIPA AMARANTO" Company.

    Distribución de planta con manufactura esbelta en las instalaciones de Elohimtex Cía. Ltda.

    This research project is based on proposing a distribution of facilities with a lean approach in the company Elohimtex Cia Ltda. The consideration of an efficient distribution makes the performance of the organization count with an improvement in productivity and optimization of resources. For the development of the proposal, the application of two strategic approaches, the SLP methodology and manufacturing cells, is approached. The techniques considered within the parameters of lean manufacturing are the value stream map, to analyze the current and proposed state; and Kanban cards that allow efficient control within production; each tool is intended to replace activities that do not generate value to the product to be developed and eliminate possible waste. To contemplate how beneficial the stipulated proposal could be, a simulation was carried out using FlexSim. When comparing the results of the current situation with the proposal, a 32% reduction in distance traveled is estimated. With these data identified through the simulation, it is evident that the proposal considered has important benefits within the elaboration of products in the organization, making that the processing times have a significant reduction.

    Estandarización de procesos en la producción de la empresa textil Boman Sport, siguiendo lineamientos de economía circular

    Process standardization encompasses the elimination of activities that do not add value to the product in order to obtain a different perspective on resource management in terms of reducing costs and proposing an adequate circular economy. The study presented a process standardization model in the production of the textile company BOMAN SPORT S.A., following circular economy guidelines. The problem derived from the excessive consumption of resources present in the production plant due to the lack of regulation on the activities carried out in the workplace. Through the ABC analysis, the study on the professional t-shirt (product with the highest demand) was proposed, which has the processes of design, cutting, sublimation, ironing assembly, printing, seam control and packaging. During the time study it was identified that the company used 3284.01 s. to make a garment. Through the changes used, a standard time of 3045,76 s. was obtained, improving the daily capacity by 3 extra units. The circular economy guidelines embodied in the procedures manual were directly related to environmental awareness, the most relevant aspects were that: the fabric (raw material) resulting from the cutting process can be recycled to recover part of the economic expenses and contribute to the reduction of the impact generated by waste; all failures produced during the assembly, stamping and sublimation processes can be avoided through equipment calibration and stability of the activities and; The impact generated by water treatment can be reduced by regulating the pressure output from the industrial iron.

    Estandarización de tiempos de producción para la elaboración de pasta de cacao en la empresa “SAQUIFRANCIA“

    The main objective of this research work is to standardize production times for the production of cocoa paste in the company "SAQUIFRANCIA", with a work study approachment, which will allow to increase productivity, in order to eliminate unproductive times of activities that do not add value in the processes and establish e standard performance regards to the current method of production. The present research makes use of the applied modality, it is based on the theoretical support of several concept to the development of the topic, for the study methodology, a field research was carried out to a population of 8 people whom are in charge of the production area, the survey of the processes of the current situation of the company is carried out by the method diagram tools, allowing us to carry out a study of the times, in objectivity to standardize the production times, beginning the starting point to implement techniques of the study of processes such as, analysis of added value, productivity indicators, cost analysis, supporting the improvement proposal. Finally, the solution proposal focuses on establishing the standard times of the production process for the elaboration of Naraum 250 g cocoa paste, the tasks involved in the seven identified processes of the production process are objectively analyzed, so a procedures manual was developed in order to have standard procedures, necessaryresult provided by the comparison of the current method versus the improved one, the parameters obtained from standardization of cocoa paste production times will be used as historical records, for the programming of production costs, budgeting and supervision.

    Estudio de tiempos y movimientos para la mejora de la producción en la empresa textil Ram Jeans

    Time and motion study is a tool that, when implemented, provides benefits such as the reduction of execution times of the activities and the increase in production in the areas of industrial manufacturing, basis that characterizes this methodology is the elimination of waste and increase production, considering that into organizations problems occur frequently and activities flow tends to be interrupted, that’s why it is necessary to standardize and reduce waste generated. The textile company "Ram Jeans" that is dedicated to the industrial production of jean pants, saw fit to improve the deficiencies that it has regarding disorder, poor control of waste, times, waiting, interruptions, transportation and unnecessary movements that are restrictions for the productivity. This research project objective of proposing lean manufacturing tools and an improvement plan for company's production benefit, reducing waste, which after analysis was identified as: waiting, unnecessary transport and inventories. Collection of information with surveys application, interviews and the study of times as a first analysis, established the current productive situation, areas, threads, activities, resources, etc., later the diagrams and manufacturing tools helped to identify activities that restrict the flow of the process and the production capacity in the company. To recognize the waste of the manufacturing process, VSM map was applied, through this tool the information corresponding to the activities that add and those that do not add value was obtained, in addition, operational tools were applied to improve the performance of the company. SMED implemented the reduction of times regarding waiting and unnecessary transport, 5S methodology maintained order and cleanliness of the workstations. Reduction of times in clothing area had a decrease from 7.1 minutes to 5.03 minutes, which is equivalent to an improvement of 29.15%, in addition, its production capacity increased from 1,248 u/month to a production of 1,440 u/month, equivalent to an improvement of 13.33% complying with the proposal to improve production.

    Estudio de tiempos y movimientos para mejorar el proceso de producción de la empresa CEPESA

    El presente estudio busca a través del estudio de tiempos y movimientos, la estandarización de los procesos productivos en la fabricación de asientos tipo estándar interprovinciales en la empresa CEPESA “Cepeda Estructuras y Asientos”, además de la identificación del cuello de botella que más genere retraso en el sistema, con el fin de proponer mejoras considerables en el proceso. A través de visitas a la empresa en estudio, se realiza la elección del producto y modelo con mayor demanda mediante la metodología ABC, con el fin de analizar el proceso productivo del modelo más vendido en la empresa. El diagrama de operación y recorrido, cursograma analítico, entre otros, fueron algunas de las principales herramientas utilizadas en el estudio del proceso de las diferentes áreas involucradas. Asimismo, con la ayuda del estudio de tiempos se define las actividades de cada área y los elementos que componen cada una de ellas, además de la maquinaria, herramientas y materiales necesarios para cada actividad del modelo elegido para la investigación, determinando la eficiencia actual por área, el cuello de botella del proceso y posibles oportunidades de mejora como la aplicación del balanceo de líneas y la creación de nuevos métodos de trabajo. Con el estudio realizado, se definió el tiempo estándar para cada una de las actividades en la fabricación del asiento tipo interprovincial y se consiguió un comportamiento adecuado del tiempo, según la demanda que la empresa sufre, disminuyendo los tiempos en las áreas que sufren retrasos considerables como el ensamblaje total y acabados. Para la primera área en mención, anteriormente se obtenía una unidad cada 41,00 minutos, con el estudio propuesto se obtendría dos unidades cada 42,19 minutos. Asimismo, en el área de acabados se redujo el tiempo de fabricación para un lote de 20 unidades de 482,25 minutos a 401,61 minutos De esta manera se mejoraría la eficiencia en mano de obra del 71,56% a 89,08% en líneas generales de proceso, disminuyendo así, tiempos muertos de operación. ABSTRACT The present study seeks through the study of times and movements, the standardization of production processes in the manufacture of interprovincial standard type seats in the CEPESA company "Cepeda Estructuras y Asientos", in addition to the identification of the system bottleneck, with in order to propose considerable improvements in the process. Through visits to the company under study, the choice of the product and model with the highest demand is made through the ABC methodology, in order to analyze the production process of the model considered star in the company. The operation and route diagram, analytical course, among others, were some of the main tools used in the study of the process of the different areas involved. Likewise, with the help of the study of time, the activities of each area and the elements that make up each of them are defined, in addition to the machinery, tools and materials necessary for each activity of the model chosen for the investigation, determining the current efficiency by area, the bottleneck of the process and possible opportunities for improvement such as the application of line balancing and the creation of new working methods. With the study carried out, the standard time for each of the activities in the manufacture of the interprovincial seat was defined and adequate time behavior was achieved, according to the demand that the company suffers, reducing the times in the areas that suffer considerable delays as the total assembly and finishes. For the first area mentioned, one unit was previously obtained every 41,00 minutes, with the proposed study two units would be obtained every 42,19 minutes. Likewise, in the area of finishes the manufacturing time for a batch of 20 units from 482,25 minutes to 401,61 minutes was reduced. This would improve labor efficiency from 71,56% to 89,08% in general process lines, thus decreasing downtime of operation.

    Evaluación de la contaminación acústica en el proceso de producción de plásticos de la empresa Halley Corporación

    El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo evaluar la contaminación acústica en el proceso de producción de plásticos de la empresa Halley Corporación. La contaminación acústica es una de las principales molestias o perturbaciones en el ambiente de trabajo y en el peor de lo casos es causante de enfermedades profesionales como la hipoacusia acústica. La investigación inicia con un reconocimiento del lugar de trabajo para tener conocimiento de las áreas que se va a realizar el estudio pertinente, la elaboración del Layout del área de producción, la estimación de las condiciones actuales de la empresa, la identificación de las fuentes de peligro generadoras de ruido mediante la aplicación del anexo A de la NTE INEN – ISO 9612 - 2014, la planificación del procedimiento para la medición de niveles de ruido, la medición de niveles de ruido de fondo con el sonómetro PCE-MSM3 y la medición de niveles de ruido laboral con el dosímetro EXTECH 407355 mediante la estrategia de medición basada en la función según la NTE INEN – ISO 9612 - 2014, el cálculo del nivel de ruido en el proceso de producción mediante la estrategia de medición basada en la función según la NTE INEN – ISO 9612 - 2014, el análisis de resultados cuyos resultados se comparan con los límites permisibles establecidos en normativas vigentes como es el Decreto Ejecutivo 2393 y proponiendo un plan de control y prevención de riesgos por la contaminación acústica en el proceso de producción de plásticos. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que el 11% de áreas de trabajo del proceso de producción de la empresa Halley Corporación se exponen a un nivel de ruido superior al límite permisible de 85 dB(A), el 33% de áreas de trabajo de la empresa se exponen a un nivel de ruido que se encuentra entre los 80 y 85 dB(A) y el 56% de áreas de trabajo se exponen a un nivel de ruido menor a 80 dB(A). Mientras tanto el 12% de áreas de trabajo del proceso de producción de la empresa Halley Corporación se exponen a una Dosis de Ruido Diario mayor al 100%, mientras que el 88% de áreas de trabajo de la empresa se exponen a una Dosis de Ruido Diario menor o igual al 100%. Por lo tanto se sugiere un plan de control y prevención de la contaminación acústica, necesario para mejorar las condiciones del ambiente de trabajo. ABSTRACT This investigation task has the objective to evaluate the acustic contamination in the process of plastic production in Halley Corporation. The acoustic contamination is one of the main problems in the working environment. Even, in the worst case it is one main reason to cause occupational illnesses like the acoustic hipocrisy. The process of investigation begins first identifying the place of working in order to know the areas available to work in and contains other process like the elaboration of Layout of the production area, the current conditions of the Company, the identification of the sorces of noise danger into the population according to Appendix A of NTE INEN – ISO 9612.The planning of the procedure to measure the levels of background noise with the sound meter PCE – MSM3.Also, the measure of the working noise with the sound meter EXTENCH 407355 through a strategy of measure according to NTE INEN – ISO 9612.The calculation of the noise level in the process of production based on the function NTE INEN – ISO 9612. The analysis of results, which are compared to the limited and allowed sounds in the current regulations such as the Executive order 2393 proposing a controlled plan and acoustic contamination risk preventions in the process of plastic production. The got results show that the 11% of the working areas of the production process of Halley Corporation are exposed to a high level of noise, which is superior to the permitted limit of 85 dB(A). The 33% of working areas of the company are exposed to a noise level that is between 80 and 85 dB(A) and the 56% of working areas are exposed to a noise level less than the 80 dB(A). While the 12% of the working areas are exposed to a dairy noise dose higher than the 100% and the 88% of working areas of the company are exposed to a dairy nose dose lower or equal to the 100%. As a result, it is recommendable to have a control plan and prevention of acoustic contamination, all of this is necessary to improve the conditions in the working environment.

    RESUMEN El presente trabajo de investigación se realiza la evaluación de los factores de riesgo mecánicos y su incidencia en la accidentabilidad de los trabajadores de producción de Línea Blanca de la Empresa FAIRIS C.A. El estudio se lo realiza reconociendo las características de los diferentes procesos de fabricación; ambiente de trabajo, instalaciones, entorno ambiental, espacios de trabajo, herramientas, maquinaria y colaboradores sobre los cuales se realizan encuestas y entrevista para obtener la información requerida. Se realiza la gestión del riesgo mecánico que consiste en la identificación de las fuentes de peligro, estimación del riesgo a través de la Matriz PGV de Triple Criterio y posteriormente la valoración de los más críticos con el Sistema simplificado de evaluación de riesgos de accidente de la NTP330 del Instituto Nacional de Seguridad e Higiene en el Trabajo de España, con el cual se propone actividades de control a través de un programa de prevención de riesgos mecánicos en cada una de las áreas más críticas de trabajo.     Factores de riesgos químicos y su incidencia en la salud ocupacional de los trabajadores en las áreas operativas de las curtiembres

    En el estudio realizado de los Factores de Riesgos Químicos y su incidencia en la Salud Ocupacional de los trabajadores en las áreas operativas de las curtiembres en donde se determino la incidencia de los Factores de Riesgos Químicos en la Salud Ocupacional de los trabajadores, mediante el enfoque cualitativo y la modalidad investigativa bibliográfica documental como también de campo, dentro de los niveles exploratorios, descriptivos, explicativos y la asociación de variables que mediante la utilización de las fichas de datos de seguridad o MSDS de cada químico obteniendo resultados de peligrosidad mediante la norma NFPA 704, por ende los químicos con mayor incidencia en proceso productivo de la curtiembre es el Sulfato de cromo, el ácidos sulfúrico, así mismo el Sulfuro de sodio nonahidratado y por último el hidróxido de sodio los inherentes efectos por exposición mediante la norma NTP 459, obteniendo resultados de irritación a las vías de entrada tanto dérmica, digestiva y respiratoria; además todos los químicos utilizados en el proceso productivo de curtición pueden provocar a largo plazo efectos negativos en el medio ambiente, en función de la INSHT mediante la NTP 749, obteniendo resultados del nivel de riesgo NR calculado es de 180 en el cruce realizado con intervalo 150-500 se obtiene un nivel de riego de 3 cuyo significado ocasiona corregir y adoptar medidas de control a corto plazo para encaminarse a una prevención efectiva y eficaz de la salud de los trabajadores además la encuesta realizada al personal administrativo y operativo indica que el 85% están de acuerdo en que se desarrolle un programa de prevención de riesgos químicos dentro esto como medida de intervención inmediata a los factores de riegos químicos, esto ayudó a incorporar procedimientos para el aplicación adecuada de sustancias peligrosas a fin de que los trabajadores conozcan las medidas de seguridad que deben seguir durante el manejo de los productos químicos.

    The research presents the thematic "Warehouse management in the company Repremarva Cía. "For the development of the objectives of this document is executed initially the analysis of the current situation of warehouse management in the company Repremarva, this through selected information from the current warehouses and products with which the institution has, being the main ones: The reception area, dispatch area, storage area, quarantine area and office area, consequently we proceeded with the categorization and flow of products to be used according to the needs of the company, we proceeded to analyze in detail four models of products belonging to different families classified in categories A and B, from each selected family, a representative product was chosen to serve as an exemplary case. The choice of this reference product is based on the intention to replicate the selected forecasting model in each product family, extending it in a comprehensive manner throughout the entire warehouse, with the objective of optimizing the approach, the ABC method was applied to classify the products into categories A, B and C. The focus was specifically focused on categories A and B to develop demand forecasts for which will be used to develop the warehouse organization using the proposed criteria. This approach is based on the analysis of historical sales data provided by the company. The choice of working with products of categories A and B is justified by their significant impact on demand and their strategic importance in inventory management, which is delimited in the fulfillment of the determination of performance indexes focused on warehouse management, so that the insertion of KPIs is an essential part of a continuous improvement for the company

    The objective of this research is to analyze the supply chain management in Kipa Amaranto agroindustrial company, which is dedicated to the production of healthy and nutritious products based on Andean products such as quinua and amaranth. During study development, storage problems were identified, which generate inefficiencies in their organization. Besides this, it was observed that the inventories lacked standards and policies, which raises doubts about the data reliability. Likewise, by not having supplier selection methods, the benefits that these strategies could provide are not being harnessed. As for the distribution of finished products, it is inefficient due to the lack of standards for their transportation. These findings highlight the need to propose improvements in supply chain management. The study began by analyzing the company's current situation through direct observation and interviews with the manager. Information was gathered using visual tools such as flow charts and control and follow-up tools such as checklists, and inefficiencies were synthesized in an Ishikawa diagram. Inventory improvements are proposed through the standards application, policies, as well as calculations for accurate management. Adittionally to the selection of vehicles for food transportation and standards for the same. In summary, the strategies and results derived from key calculations, such as safety stock, order points and economic order quantity, lead to a significant improvement in the company's inventory and warehouse management. Presented proposals and recommendations in terms of suppliers and distribution have the central objective of improving and driving informed decision making and resource optimization along the entire supply chain

    The objective of this project is to improve maintenance management at Bioalimentar Cía. Ltda. through the application of Lean Maintenance tools. To achieve this objective, 3 investigative stages were carried out. The first stage includes the analysis of the initial situation through a diagnosis in which 12 maintenance management axes are considered through the application of the evaluation of the COVENIN 2500-93 manual, determining the areas of strength and management deficiency. In addition, observations, interviews and data collection are used as tools that facilitate the identification of conflicting activities. In the second stage, the selection of tools is carried out through the hierarchical analytical process to provide qualitative-quantitative support to the investigation and improve the priority aspects to be addressed in the maintenance management of Bioalimentar. With the calculation of the priorities, the development of 3 Lean Maintenance tools is determined, which are: 5S, Standardization and Poka Yoke; and, the third stage documentally develops each of the selected tools proposing processes, formats and flow charts that continuously describe how to implement and record data for its implementation, monitoring and control. Finally, this research project concludes that once the selected Lean Maintenance tools are adapted to improve maintenance management in Bioalimentar, it would be expected to achieve a decrease in spare parts waits and loss of time due to rework in maintenance activities that it will favor the effective fulfillment of the weekly work schedule.

    The present research work was carried out in the fast-food restaurant "Broos Burguer Las Chancros de la 13" located on Joaquín Aillón and Lizardo Ruiz streets, a company dedicated to providing fast food service, with the aim of applying tools Lean manufacturing for the continuous improvement of processes in a restaurant. With an initial analysis, the main changes within the process were identified, in order to provide a solution to the problems encountered, the management of a reference implementation proposal for lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies in restaurant processes is proposed. . For this research, improvement proposals were developed opting for a first 5S methodology, implemented in the production areas, to reduce the necessary elements in all areas, which will benefit the flow of the material, reducing the number of elements out of their place the creation and definition of new spaces for the storage of utensils and the application of a cleaning manual, the time spent cleaning each area is reduced based on defining specific procedures and activities for this activity in each area; The second methodology is based on a redistribution of the plant to reduce the movements or transfers of personnel, obtaining a reduction from 676,87 m to 467,34 m, that is, 209,52 meters per day, obtaining an improvement of 30,97% in the reduction of movements. or transfers of personnel, with the new arrangement of elements, redirection of the material flow and reduction of the response time of the employees to deliver the order, through the simulation of the process in the FlexSim 2019 program

    Lean manufacturing contemplates the reduction of waste and allows greater control over it, for this reason several organizations have decided to implement these tools that create a culture of organization, standardization and reduction of the waste generated. The slaughter plant "Pura Pechuga", whose economic activity is the production of slaughtered chicken, has seen fit to improve the deficiencies in terms of waste control, organization and standardization of processes. The main objective of this research project is to propose lean manufacturing tools that improve the productivity of the slaughtering process with the reduction of waste found such as: waiting, unnecessary movements, excess transport and over-processing. To meet these objectives, an information survey is carried out using industrial engineering tools, with which the current state of the production process, its areas, resources, etc., was known, then the standard times were obtained where processes that restrict productive capacity were found. The analysis of the waste of the production process was carried out through the VSM, which as a diagnostic tool also allowed knowing the activities that add and do not add value, on the other hand, as operational tools, a proposal for the implementation of the 5S was established, whose objective is to maintain order and cleanliness, with the SMED tool it is proposed to reduce the preparation times of two processes that disrupt the continuous flow of production. As part of the standardization, a proposal is established that would reduce the time a chicken takes to be processed, going from 1.46 minutes to 1.28 minutes, which in percentage represents an improvement of 11.90%, finally it is included as a proposal the use of standardized work sheets, which will serve as a guide for operators with a focus on improving productivity.
