An extensive bibliographic search was carried out in sources such as repositories, scientific journals, digital books, websites and scientific articles that supported the theoretical support. The methodology used had a quantitative approach with a correlational scope, a pre-experimental design, of a bibliographic type, this with the purpose of responding to the specific objectives set. Data were collected through the Observation Sheet instrument with a pre-test and a post-test of 10 indicators, with an assessment scale proposed by the Ministry of Education, applied to 20 4-year-old children, the same instrument that was validated by the SPSS program through Cronbach's alpha with 0.795. To carry out data collection and analysis, consent letters were sent to the parents. Based on the results obtained, it was concluded that the application of role games provided an increase in the level of self-care in each of the boys and girls of Initial Sublevel 2.
