This research explores the relationship between the use of musical stories and instructional compliance in children aged 4 to 5 years. This topic has been little studied in the educational field. Therefore, its general objective is to analyze the influence of this teaching strategy on the development of children's ability to follow instructions in the context of early childhood education. The study was framed within the framework of social and educational behavior under an interpretative paradigm, with a qualitative bibliographic, field, and documentary approach, with a non-experimental design and both exploratory and descriptive scope. Data collection was carried out through observation and interview techniques, along with the instruments provided: an observation sheet for the children and a script of questions for the teachers. Regarding the population, we worked with 20 children aged 4 to 5 years from the Initial Sublevel II of the "Blaise Pascal" Educational Unit. The results showed that musical stories, by combining both narrative and audio elements, promote not only cognitive development but also auditory memory, instructional comprehension, and verbal expression in children in a playful manner. The scientific innovation of this study lies in demonstrating how musical stories can be an innovative and effective pedagogical tool that fosters meaningful learning while strengthening the emotional bond between teacher and student, contributing to the child's comprehensive development throughout their learning process.

(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Educación Inicial, 2025-01-28) Zambrano Alcaciega Katherine Mishel; Rosero Morales Elena del Rocío; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Educación Inicial
This research examines "Musical Stories in the Production of Rhymes among Children Aged 4 to 5 Years." The methodology employed in this study is qualitative, which facilitates the identification and understanding of behaviors pertinent to the phenomenon under investigation. To accomplish this, bibliographic information based on various authors was used to gather data regarding independent and dependent variables. By elaborating on and clarifying our two variables, we aim to achieve our first specific objective: to provide a theoretical framework supporting the theme of musical stories in relation to the production of rhymes in children aged 4 to 5. Furthermore, this research seeks to ascertain the benefits of utilizing musical stories to enhance rhyme production. Lastly, we propose the development of a guide that includes musical stories with rhymes to ensure the effective implementation of related activities within the classroom setting. The investigation presented here involves a fundamental inquiry characterized by a nonexperimental design and a descriptive scope. It is grounded in bibliographic documentary research complemented by a field study. To collect data, an observational technique was employed with the aid of a standardized form, which served as the observational instrument. This instrument comprised ten indicators specifically tailored for children aged four to five years, validated by experts prior to implementation. Additionally, aninterview technique was utilized, accompanied by a question script featuring six openended inquiries focused on the teaching aspect. The results were substantiated through data triangulation and analysis, which concluded that the implementation of musical stories in the production of rhymes yields several benefits for children at the initial educational level. Specifically, it fosters greater participation and interest in the subject matter, encourages the expression of opinions, enhances auditory memory management, promotes phonological awareness, facilitates vocabulary expansion, and improves relational dynamics among peers through engaging and productive conversations.
