Item Aplicación móvil utilizando Kotlin para optimizar el tiempo de cobro de productos en supermercados(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información, 2024-08) Ases Villacís, Jairo Mauricio; Aldás Flores, Clay FernandoOver time, commerce has experienced accelerated growth, which has generated a global expansion of supermarkets. due to their high competition, their main objective is the customer experience. This study addresses one of the most common challenges in the supermarket checkout process, specifically in handling unlabeled products. Therefore, applied research has been used, combining surveys of cashier staff and a sample of customers to collect information and opinions, in order to identify perceptions and possible improvements, while the assistance of the staff in generating their barcode when it is presented in a purchase, which customer discomfort and even lead to lost sales. The project materializes as a mobile application for Android devices, built-in Kotlin using Jetpack Compose. This application was also guided by the 5 phases of the Mobile-d methodology, developed with an API-Rest from Nodejs and an administrative panel in the Angular framework. Finally, the project has successfully culminated with the implementation of an innovative solution. Through a search accompanied by images for easy identification. Additionally, unique linear barcodes have been generated for each product and for each meat product based on the weight of the scale, which can be scanned at the invoicing points for an efficient collection process.Item Aplicación multiplataforma con Framework Ionic para apoyar el e-turismo de las Pymes del sector gastronómico tradicional de la ciudad de Ambato.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Mobile – D methodologic is the most appropriate for mobile application development since, being divided into 5 phases, it helps to define functionalities, requirements, and the environment, all development phase, and unit testing with the stakeholders, that’s why project development has been making following these methodologic rules. For this reason, Ambabus proposes to be at the forefront through the development and implementation of an innovative web application. The main objective is to optimize the company's sales process, taking advantage of technological tools, in order to improve the customer experience. The web application was developed with technologies such as: Angular, Laravel and Bootstrap, and It follows the XP methodology to guarantee an agile development and user friendly. It also integrates with a MySQL database, that provides a robust platform to manage key information of customers, buses and sales. On the other hand, the central focus of the application is to optimize sales process time. It means that it seeks to reduce waiting times and improv the comprehensive management of clients and sales. In this way, the customer is allowed to virtually explore the buses before physically visiting the company, offering them a unique experience supporte d by virtual reality technology. Booking management is simplified through the app, with the ability to send email notifications after a customer books a bus. This component adds a level of coexistence for both clients and company staff, which facilitates an effective and timely communication. The choice of modern technologies and the adoption of agile development practices reflect the company's commitment to innovation and continuous improvement. This project was developed with the purpose of automating the processes of control and management of the information of players, teams and football championships of the Quero Cantonal Sports League, through the integration of a web application, which will simplify, streamline and control efficiently the information within the Sports League. With this, it was possible to improve the organization and coordination of soccer championships, game calendars, position tables, players, and also comply with the internal regulations of the Sports League. The web application was created and developed using the Angular (Frontend) and Laravel (Backend) frameworks, which allowed to streamline the development process and perform good programming practices thanks to the use of design patterns. Companies that provide internet service aren’t exception due to the large amount of processes and information management involved, so they require the use of computer systems that help to better carry out their activities in order to offer a better quality of service to their customers. The objective of this research project is the implementation of a web application in the company Optynet in the canton of Quero, due to the fact that currently they have a manual control of the information, in addition the time spent to locate the clients homes is high, in the same way there is a low communication with them. Therefore, through the use of technological tools we seek to cover these requirements, adding functions to the application to help manage activities such as: customer registration, installations, technical support, suppliers, geolocation on maps with time and distance estimation, as well as sending payment notifications via WhatsApp, in order to offer a better service experience to customers. The web application was developed with ASP.NET Core and Angular technologies, allowing to have separate back-end and front-end, facilitating the maintenance and scalability of the web application; the use of libraries such as: AutoMapper, RestSharp and those comprising Microsoft.EntityFramework server-side and client-side libraries such as: Angular Material and MapBoxalong with the MySQL database engine favored the development process of the web application. However, one of the main challenges is the lack of traceability, which hinders the tracking, access, and efficient management of information. For this reason, the objective of this project is to implement a web application using the Angular framework for document management in the Administrative Area of Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Chibuleo Ltda. To address this problem, an applied research was carried out to identify the needs of the area and define the functional requirements of the system. The developed solution uses Angular for the creation of the frontend and .NET for the construction of the backend. In addition, the Lean Software Development methodology was applied, which allowed an agile development and incremental deliveries with a focus on quality in each phase. The implementation of the system generated significant improvements in the Cooperative's document management. Among the main results are the reduction of time in administrative processes, the increase in productivity and the guarantee of transparency in document management. As the company experiences continuous growth, inventory management becomes increasingly complex. The variation in products, suppliers, and locations requires a more advanced approach than conventional methods based on spreadsheets or manual systems. This project aligns with the research line in Information Technologies and Control Systems, aiming to implement a web application for inventory management using an Open Source framework at the "Pil's Autorepuestos" warehouse. The goal is to automate manual inventory management processes, incorporate administrative roles to improve spare parts traceability, and contribute significantly to decision-making. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology is employed for planning, design, coding, and testing of the product, facilitating efficient supervision of deliverables at each stage of the process, ensuring compliance with the requirements defined by the warehouse manager. The application is structured into three key components: a robust and secure SQL Server database for information management, a backend developed in .NET Core using Entity Framework to provide a scalable and modular architecture, and a frontend implemented with Angular due to its modular structure. Botany uses thousands of data in a series of research studies, secure of data is a mandatory requirement. Every record needs to be correctly registered, an incorrect record could be critical when starting a new study. The main porpose of this study project is to build a web application focused on information management. This includes security protocols, correct data organization and dynamic presentation of data. The development technique used in this project took the strengths of agile XP methodology, enabling continuous software deliveries to the customer over the building of the web system. For this reason, foundations committed to this noble cause promote responsible care of animals, placing significant emphasis on ensuring their well-being and fostering responsible practices in their care and adoption. In this context, however, one of the limitations faced by these foundations is the limited access to technological tools that would allow them to effectively manage information related to their activities. The lack of technological resources can hinder the coordination of rescues, adoptions, and volunteer work, as well as the detailed monitoring of the health and individual needs of the animals under their care. The present research project was conceived with the aim of developing a web application designed to assist the Paquito Animal Rescue Foundation. This web application enables the management of processes involved in rescue activities, adoption, volunteering, and the reception of monetary donations. In the development of the application, the decision was made to apply the XP methodology with the goal of adapting flexibly to changes that may arise in the application. For the development of the Frontend and user interface, Angular technology was employed, while the backend was built with the .NET Core framework, including a Rest API that contains the methods used by the application. This approach in web design and development allows for breaking down a user interface into smaller. independent components, offering several benefits in terms of performance. maintenance, and scalability. Microfrontend encompasses concepts that aim to improve modularity and code reuse in the frontend part of the web application. Instead of managing a single codebase in a unified repository, the application can be divided into smaller modules and worked on by smaller teams. The objective of this project is to implement a microfrontend architecture to optimize the development of SPA-type web applications. achieving more efficient and agile development, and providing users with a high-quality experience when interacting with the web application. By leveraging the benefits of the microfrontend approach, companies can quickly adapt to the changing demands of the market and offer innovative products and services to their end users. Consequently. a test application was developed using the architecture to showcase its benefits through metrics. For the project development, the XP (Extreme Programming) methodology was used. focusing on rapid development, as continuous performance testing was required to demonstrate the main objective. Angular and React technologies were used for frontend development, and the Module Federation library was utilized for implementing the architecture. A Node.js-based backend service was used, along with a non-relational database in a MongoDB cluster. Finally. In certain dental offices, there are processes that have not been automated as they are done manually according to their specialties, however, there is the possibility of automating them as is the case with the process of diagnosing orthodontic treatments. The aim of this project is the development of a web system for the diagnosis of orthodontic treatment in the dental office "Estévez Dental Group" because the office currently keeps manual records. Therefore, the implementation of the web system optimized this process. Additionally, it allowed for optimal and automated analysis resulting in efficient diagnosis. The web system was developed using Angular, utilizing its technology and development advantages. The database engine used was MySQL. For its deployment, it was on the Somee.com server. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was applied for the development of the system, with the goal of achieving development in accordance with proposed activities and project planning, taking into account design and order aspects. The web system made it possible to reduce the time spent by administrative staff in the process of obtaining primary inputs, in addition, the information obtained is updated and processed in the formats established by the ARCENNR or the EEASA. The development methodology applied was OOHDM (Object Oriented Hypermedia Design Method) that through the use of specialized models such as: conceptual, navigation and user interface, allows to simplify and make more effective the design of a web system. The automotive industry is positioned as one of the most innovative sectors in the market. For this reason, the companies associated with this branch of business promote to use of computer systems, which facilitate the control of processes as in the current project. The objective of this project is to develop a web system to optimize the process of the Pre-Delivery Inspection service for imported automobiles in the PDI area. The most relevant aspects of the project will focus on the control of tasks, spare parts, and supplies used. Thus, the manual registration of the activities performed will be eliminated, the time required to register and consult the information on the inspected cars will be reduced. In the development of the application, the XP methodology was used to adapt to the changes presented in the system in a flexible way. Angular technology was used for the Frontend development along with the entire user interface, the .NET Core framework for the backend where an API Rest was created containing the methods used by the system, and the MySQL database where the data of the web application is stored.
