Item Optimización de la infraestructura de red Lan mediante la aplicación de una metodología de diseño de redes en la Unidad Educativa Bolívar(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información, 2024-02) Robalino Tubón, Alex Mateo; Guevara Aulestia, David OmarThis project outlines the implementation of the LAN Network Infrastructure Optimization project at the Unidad Educativa Bolívar, applying Cisco's PPDIOO Network Design Methodology. The main objective is to maximize the performance of the infrastructure to provide high availability, fault tolerance, scalability, and quality of service in the administrative and educational subnets. Adaptability to changes and the incorporation of new technologies are crucial to maintaining optimal performance in the long term. The project is geared towards creating a robust infrastructure that allows for sustainable and adaptable development in the educational field. Throughout the chapters, it addresses everything from problem determination to methodology selection. The information gathering phase details key aspects of the current infrastructure, including its operation, structure, population, and issues. The methodology selection explores how the problem was addressed and the type of research carried out. In the final chapter, conclusions derived from the analysis of results obtained from surveys and observations of institutional documentation are presented, along with recommendations for the development of the proposal. This project not only tackles current challenges in the network infrastructure but also lays the groundwork for sustainable future growth. The application of Cisco's PPDIOO Methodology ensures a comprehensive approach, enabling effective management and monitoring of the LAN network infrastructure at the Bolívar Educational Unit.
