Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo, para los equipos y máquinas del Tecnicentro Pacavih(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2024-08) Haro Solís, Andrés Abel; López Velástegui, Jorge EnriqueIt is crucial to highlight that industrial maintenance is a fundamental element in the productive process of any industry or company, as it focuses on the reduction and optimization of business development. This allows for the reduction of failures in machines, equipment, and installations, thus preventing economic losses for the organization. In the present research, both quantitative and qualitative methods were employed, applying numerical, mathematical analyses, and result reviews; AMFE and Criticality matrices were also conducted, considering them of great importance, to provide maintenance criteria based on engineering. The research is based on data from primary sources collected in the field through surveys, inspections, and interviews. Additionally, a computer-assisted maintenance model was used, which allowed for effective and assertive handling of the information, facilitating the main objective of the research. The current state of the equipment and machines was also determined to understand their level of functionality and operating conditions. As a result, regular and documented inspections must be carried out by trained personnel who use the appropriate tools and are familiar with the specific maintenance plan for each type of equipment or machine. It is important to foster collaboration between technicians and operators to ensure that evaluations are accurate and comprehensive. The information collected should be used to continuously update the maintenance plan and make informed decisions about repairs and replacements within the company.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo, para la maquinaria del área de trituración de materiales pétreos en la empresa Jeal Construcciones(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2024-02) Freire Revelo, Andrea Paola; López Velástegui, Jorge EnriqueThe company does not currently have a preventive maintenance plan, so it uses a reactive approach, in which it waits for equipment to fail before proceeding to repair it. This not only generates interruptions in the company's production, but also increases the risk of occupational accidents, reduces the useful life of the equipment and generates periods of inoperability, since the machinery used in the process of crushing stone materials is important for the company's operation. This project was developed in several steps, the first one was to make an inventory of the machines belonging to the crushing area, then the critical equipment was identified and its current status was evaluated, also technical data sheets, FMEA and statistical matrices were made where the availability of the machines could be analyzed and the criticality and identification of components susceptible to failures were determined. Different ranges of maintenance were elaborated with activity guidelines with the objective of improving the performance and useful life of the machines and their components, knowing their reliability and availability; subsequently, preventive maintenance matrices were elaborated with different activities and the periodicity with which they were carried out throughout the year. Finally, fulfilling the objectives, the maintenance plan was uploaded to a specialized software, with the objective of automating maintenance tasks and improving the efficiency and productivity of its processes and personnel.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo basado en la gestión de activos, empleando la norma ISO 55000 para el taller industrial Jackson en la ciudad de Esmeraldas(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2023-09) Escobar Vallecilla, Erick Enrique; Guamanquispe Toasa, Jorge PatricioThis technical project was carried out with the purpose of implementing a preventive maintenance plan for the "Jackson" industrial workshop, based on asset management, as they do not currently have one, and also to guarantee support for the workshop's assets, which is why ISO 55000 was used. In the development, the coding of the machines was carried out in order to identify them quickly and easily; technical data sheets and a study of the current maintenance situation were made, this data was represented in the statistics and analysis of the curve of the machines' bathtub, which indicates the stage the machines are in. Then, a modal analysis of failures and effects (FMEA) was carried out with the parameters established in the technical note NTP 679, where the most critical components to suffer breakdowns and that can cause an unexpected stoppage of the machines were detailed, in order to know the functional failure, the causes of failures and effects; a criticality analysis of the equipment was carried out, in order to determine the most critical components of each machine. Finally, the preventive maintenance plan was developed, using a free technological software "Microsoft Excel", where the maintenance logs of each machine were detailed, the generation of the monthly report and data; it is possible to save and print each of the generated reports, in order to manage in a faster and simpler way.Item Mantenimiento correctivo y preventivo para la cámara de acondicionamiento del Laboratorio de Investigación de Mecánica Lim-Uta de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2023-09) Estacio Betancourt, Marcel Humberto; Castro Miniguano, Christian ByronThe present study focuses on the utmost importance of maintaining the conditioning chamber in optimal conditions, as it is fundamentally used to properly condition the samples used in the flammability test, ensuring with certainty and precision that they possess exactly the same properties distributed homogeneously throughout the extent of their surface. If, unfortunately, the chamber presents any unexpected breakdown or unforeseen defect, the process to carry out the test will be severely affected, causing untimely and costly equipment shutdowns and significant financial losses for the laboratory. Corrective maintenance consisted of analyzing the damaged parts or systems and providing them with the necessary repair. On the other hand, preventive maintenance will involve collecting information about the equipment and developing a plan to avoid possible failures and address them. These maintenance plans are essential to keep the machine in operation and extend its useful life since they allow for the development of technical specifications, dossiers, and having spare parts for components and maintenance procedures. As a result, it was possible to develop the dossier that detailed the generalities, operation, and maintenance of the conditioning chamber; examine the failure modes of the chamber components through a Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) matrix and a criticality matrix; furthermore, thanks to this last one, the criticality levels of the equipment components were determined; perform corrective maintenance by identifying and replacing the damaged elements; and create a preventive maintenance plan that includes daily, monthly, and yearly technical activities to prevent possible failures and breakdowns.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para los equipos y máquinas en el Tecnicentro Automotriz Solís(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2023-08) Solis Galarza, Jim Alexander; Paredes Robalino, María BelénThe Tecnicentro Automotriz Solis innovated its facilities by acquiring machines and equipment for vehicle maintenance, in order to provide a quality service without setbacks, the need for a technical project was born that is focused on maintenance under failure modal analysis and effects. A list of the machines and equipment in service was made, obtaining information on their condition, brand, year of manufacture and location, thus discovering an updated inventory and at the same time identifying the most used machines and the most prone to fail such as: the four elevators, a hydraulic press, an air compressor, a pedestal drill and a GMAW welder, information was collected such as: its technical characteristics, specifications, main components and an identification code will be completed, thus forming the technical sheets; the maintenance statistic was calculated with the work times from January to December 2022, in the case of elevators the period from October 2022 to May 2023 was used, information provided by the company with which the bathtub curve was obtained; The AMFE and criticality matrix was established, identifying its failure modes, causes, effects and giving ratings from which the most critical were obtained and the percentages of confidence and unreliability were analyzed. Finally, the maintenance ranges of the machines with different activities were carried out, detailing how often they will be carried out throughout the year, then it will be delivered to the Company, where the technician responsible for each machine must comply with the development of the maintenance plan. preventive.Item Diseño de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para la empresa INGB&R PLAST en la ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2023-08) Ballesteros Guerrero, Steven Alfredo; Carrillo Rosero, Carlos MauricioThis technical project deals with the design of a preventive maintenance plan for the company INGB&R PLAST, located in the city of Ambato. Which was carried out taking into account the lack of a structured and efficient preventive maintenance system, which has led to a higher incidence of breakdowns in the company's machinery and equipment, resulting in costly downtime and production losses. In this preventive maintenance plan, the company's machinery was codified, an inventory of existing machines was carried out, and a format for the creation of technical sheets was created, the machines were classified by system, subsystem and components. The criticality analysis was carried out to prioritize the components that required immediate intervention, in the same way the AMFE matrix was carried out based on the NTP 679, obtaining the components most prone to failure, with these results the maintenance logs and ranges were made to improve the operation of machinery. Based on these results, a risk review and registry format was designed. As a result, the preventive maintenance plan was designed for each type of machinery present in the company. This plan includes a detailed schedule of maintenance activities, such as periodic inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and replacement of worn parts. Computer-aided maintenance management is a program that can handle large amounts of work orders, consumables, spare parts inventory and equipment needed for better control. It is for this reason that the present research work is oriented on the idea of developing a GMAO model oriented to preventive maintenance for the car manufacturing company MEGA SANTACRUZ. The development of such an important object could only be achieved by means of a bibliographic and quantitative research model. The current state of the machines of the company Mega Santacruz shows that mostly its model state is valuable and with a high performance for which a maintenance plan was generated, this model has a series of activities oriented to each of the machines; same that must be carried out based on the dates established by means of Fractal One program.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para la maquinaria de la línea de producción de la empresa Welding & Vayacons CIA. It has the purpose to implement the TPM philosophy (Total Productive Maintenance) which is going to generate annual maintenance planning for the machines and equipment that exist inside the company. The maintenance planning is based on the 5S application and autonomous planned maintenance as well. The technical project established all the necessary forms to develop the maintenance activities such as technical sheets, criticality analysis, machines inspections, and other services for the correct maintenance. The proposed activities within the maintenance annual planning for each machine are the manual functions, visual analysis, equipment background, quantitative criticality analysis, and the well-known failures and effects modal AMFE analysis. This data allows us to obtain the critical values of the components. All the activities are reflected in the annual preventive maintenance planning. These activities aim look for to ensure correct and optimal use of the machines and equipment in order to prolong their useful life and reduce downtime. Within the researching there was the intervention machines and the company facilities as well to acquire tidy and clean facilities to improve the working environment. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2022-08) Navarrete López, Bryan Javier; Guamanquispe Toasa, Jorge PatricioIn the MAVESA INDOAMÉRICA agency, after having examined its current state, it was found that the list of tools and equipment was obsolete due to the recent modernization of these, thus generating certain errors in the handling of information on a daily basis and without having an updated maintenance plan. This evidenced the need for a technical project focused on maintenance. In this project, information on tools and equipment was collected, observing their current state and an updated inventory was generated, then codified technical data sheets and a maintenance statistic were elaborated by calculating times with information for the period September 2020 - August 2021, which allowed elaborating and interpreting the bathtub curve. Following the methodology of the NTP 679, the AMFE matrix was developed, allowing to specify the representative tool systems and equipment of the company, detailing their failure modes, root cause and effect, and then giving them a weighting to obtain the most critical ones, followed by the codified maintenance ranges. As a result, an annual preventive maintenance plan for tools and equipment was developed, organized with activities, frequency and duration for a whole year, and to complement it, a support program was implemented with the help of free software.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo enfocado en la gestión de activos, mediante la utilización de la norma ISO 55000 para la rectificadora m. Noboa” company, currently does not have a preventive maintenance plan, the purpose of technical project is to generate one, focused on assets management, with a projection of one year, for machinery in charge of the rectification process of vehicles engine, in addition, it is expected to provide help with the management of company assets, therefore, ISO 55000 Standard was used. In the investigation were carried out: technical sheets, analysis of machine elements using the AMFE (Modal Analysis of Failures and Effects) matrix established in NTP:679 Standard, to identify critical elements, also, a qualitative critically analysis was used to identify the critically level of each machine from another type of approach (no data such as maintenance statistics, among others). Therefore, it was possible to determine a preventive maintenance activities list, which ensures a correct and optimal work of the machines is expected, prolonging the useful life of the machine and its elements, and avoiding unexpected failures. So, through this research, it was possible to intervene and fill a need in the business development of the sector and the country, in addition, the exposed results show the elaboration of excel spreadsheets, which allow easy management of information about the company’s assets.
