Maestría en Seguridad e Higiene Industrial y Ambiental, 2017) Aleaga Del Salto, Juan Carlos; Espín Guerrero, Víctor RodrigoEXECUTIVE SUMMARY The noise in the plastic industry is very common, the machinery to produce plastic products in most cases is very noisy because they have electric motors, pneumatic actuators, cutting saws, bevellers, polishing machines, etc. High noise in the workplace generates problems in deconcentration, a conversation can not be maintained, and progressively affects the hearing loss, the main objective is to identify the noise, measure it and evaluate it, this way it will be verified if the personnel Is exposed or not to the physical risk in study, later to determine the disorders of the hearing in the personnel and finally to pose a solution measure to the problem that diminishes the auditory problems. The analysis and interpretation of results shows the calculations necessary to identify, measure and evaluate the noise in the production plant of plastic products of Holviplas S.A. In addition, verification of the hypothesis is carried out through the surveys. The recommendations made for this study are based on performing audiometries at least once a year, this way you can have a medical history and can plan the work in a better way, rotating the staff or changing jobs to decrease The time of exposure to noise. The aim of the project is to develop a noise identification, measurement, evaluation and control program, which will contribute to the prevention of occupational diseases due to noise and improve the working conditions of operators. Executive Decree 2393 says that a person working 8 hours should be exposed to a sound pressure of 85dB maximum, in the investigation have been proposed technical and organizational measures to combat this risk, in addition to technical measures at the source and at the receivers , In this case the operators.
