Maestría en Seguridad e Higiene Industrial y Ambiental, 2017) Carrascal Rosero, Byron Gerardo; Jácome Jiménez, FranciscoEXECUTIVE SUMMARY The present research work was carried out in the facilities of the Río Manso extractor, through the evaluation of musculoskeletal disorders (TME) caused by exposure to forced postures, in the workers of the African palm oil extraction process. In order to determine the cause and effect relationship between the risk level and the EMS, the application of internationally validated methodologies was adopted, considering the adoption of static and dynamic postures such as the UNE - EN - 1005-4 method, used as the first Methodology, which showed conditions for 2 jobs with unacceptable risk for which a specific method was applied such as OWAS (Ovako Working Analysis System), this determined the frequencies of the different postures, with 53% for sterilization operator And 65% of product stevedores added in 3 categories of present level of risk, the conclusion to the study determines the relation with the affections by (SME), since it is evidenced a 41% of attentions relative to this type of affection with respect to All types of medical symptomatologies.
