Maestría en Seguridad e Higiene Industrial y Ambiental, 2019) Morocho Dután, Luis Armando; Tigre Ortega, Franklin GeovannySUMMARY In the present research work an ergonomic study focused on the area of the column within the framework of the firefighting activities developed during the structural, forest fire and prehospital combat by the operational firefighters, begins with a significant analysis of the jobs through the development of the initial risk matrix, analysis of the main activities, collection of the weights of protective implements and equipment used in emergencies and analysis of the results of occupational examinations of the operating staff column having the notion of the present problems, then the present ergonomic risks of the activities that within the initial risk matrix have entered into the control parameters are analyzed, by means of the selection of international evaluation methods according to the risk, this is how the following: REBA for postu forced, MAC for cargo handling; which allows to evaluate and determine the level of risk of the evaluated activities; having a technical base of the level of affectation that the personnel perceives during the attention of emergencies, finally, there are control measures that allow to control the detected risk, being the main measures the following ones: generation of a muscle strengthening program of the spine, program of adequate feeding according to the level of metabolic requirement of the activities to be developed and finally accompanied by procedures of the main tasks that are carried out within the activities of combat of forest fires, structural and prehospital care.Item Esfuerzos manuales y su implicación en el trauma acumulativo en extremidades superiores del personal de cajas de instituciones financieras(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Maestría en Seguridad e Higiene Industrial y Ambiental, 2017) Villena Gaibor, Luis Antonio; Morales Perrazo, Luis AlbertoEXECUTIVE SUMMARY The cumulative traumas generated in the workplace constitute a serious problem for the health of the workers in the world, being one of the main causes of human suffering and loss of productivity. The research focused on analyzing manual efforts and their involvement in cumulative upper limb trauma. The identification and evaluation of the ergonomic risk factors was developed to the five boxes of existing boxes in the study area and was done by the application of validated and recognized methods for repetitive movements such as Check List Ocra for initial analysis, complemented with the JSI (Job Strain Index) method being this specific method to determine if exposed workers have the possibility to develop cumulative traumas in upper extremities by exposure to repetitive movements; in the same way the study for postural load was developed using the REBA method. Complementary to the ergonomic evaluation, a medical examination was performed by performing maneuvers intended for the physical exploration of characteristic signs of flexion, extension, tone and strength for the detection of discomfort that respond to possible pathologies in upper limbs. The analysis showed that the highest incidence of symptomatology was found in the hands with 30%; on the other hand, 100% of the employees presented a positive response to at least one of the stimuli of the medical examination, agreeing these discomforts with the most common ones present in cumulative traumas in hands; it was also detected that the postural load originated mainly by the adoption of inappropriate postures due to the design of the position and inadequate furniture, failing 56% of the furniture with the basic technical requirements established in the technical preventive notes; This concludes the findings and recommends actions aimed at proposing measures that can mitigate the risks found, triggering in the proposal to carry out a redesign of the work post to mitigate the postural load and to apply a program of active pauses to reduce the time of exposure to repetitive movements. The main conclusion of the investigation is that in the area of boxes of the CACPE PASTAZA LTDA we detected symptoms corresponding to cumulative traumas in upper limbs and discomfort in the lumbar area, likewise there are already cases of proven professional diseases and corresponding to Syndrome Carpal tunnel, which fits exactly in the types of pathologies product of exposure to manual stresses.Item La iluminación y su impacto en la Seguridad Laboral de los trabajadores del Camal Municipal de la Ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. The primary objective is to create a culture of prevention with a manual of procedures adequate for lighting management physical risk, where measurement and sampling strategies are established; in addition to the control measures for all workers in both the operational and administrative area for the eradication of occupational accidents and diseases as a result of daily exposure.Item Evaluación de los niveles de ruido, iluminación, temperatura y su efecto en las enfermedades profesionales en la empresa CODELITESA S.A.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Dirección de Posgrado, 2014) Escobar Vinueza, Cristian Freddy; Córdova Suárez, Manolo AlexanderEl presente trabajo de investigación, describe un estudio realizado en cada una de las áreas de trabajo que conforman la Empresa CODELITESA y las DESPENSAS CASERITA 1 Y 2 siendo estos: la medición de ruido, iluminación y temperatura, factores que determinen la manera adecuada de un lugar seguro sin enfermedades profesionales con la utilización del fórmulas y cálculos para que de manera gráfica visualizar los resultados obtenidos; este análisis permite detectar las inconformidades existentes en el sistema de ruido, iluminación y temperatura actual, en base a los parámetros con el uso DECRETO EJECUTIVO 390 y normativa vigente legal. Como resultado de este trabajo, se presenta soluciones al factor de riesgo ruido, mapas de iluminación y cálculo de temperatura, como también procedimientos de prevención, determinando las causas del problema, mediante la aplicación de los cálculos y fórmulas; considerando valores y niveles de ruido, iluminación y temperatura establecidos en normativa legales vigente, garantizando un buen ambiente de trabajo. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This research paper describes a study in each of the work areas that make up the Company CODELITESA and CASERITA 1 AND 2 DISPENSATIONS these being: measurement noise , light and temperature , factors determining the proper way of insurance without diseases and with the use of formulas and calculations to graphically display the results instead , this analysis allows to detect existing disagreements in the system noise, light and temperature , based on the parameters in 390 and use EXECUTIVE DECREE current legislation. As a result of this work, presents solutions to the risk factor noise, light maps and temperature calculation, as well as prevention procedures, determining the causes of the problem, by applying the calculations and formulas, considering values and noise levels lighting and temperature established legal regulations, ensuring a good working environment.Item La seguridad e higiene industrial y la calidad del agua y su incidencia en la gestión de riesgos laborales y ambientales en el Centro de Faenamiento Ocaña(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2014) Merino Jima, Juan Carlos; Jaramillo Garcés, Alfredo VinicioEn el presente trabajo de investigación se realiza la evaluación de los riesgos presentes en los diferentes puestos de trabajo en el proceso productivo del CENTRO DE FAENAMIENTO OCAÑA, a través de la Matriz de Riesgos Laborales por Puesto de Trabajo del Ministerio de Relaciones Laborales del Ecuador, en la cual, mediante la aplicación de métodos cuantitativos como W. Fine, Biogaval, BOE n. 97, Owas, Meseri Mejorado e Instrumentos de Medición calibrados permiten la valoración de los mismos, dando como resultado la presencia de Riesgos Mecánicos, Biológicos y Ergonómicos mayoritariamente; se realiza también los Análisis de Laboratorio tanto del agua que se utiliza en el proceso, como del efluente descargado para determinar la calidad de estas. Con la información obtenida se plantea un Plan de Seguridad e Higiene Industrial y Gestión de la Calidad del Agua que permita controlar los riesgos laborales intolerables y el uso adecuado y eficiente del recurso hídrico, mediante la aplicación de medidas preventivas de control. ABSTRACT At the present investigation about the assessment of risks in the different jobs in the production process of the CENTRO DE FAENAMIENTO OCAÑA, through of Matríz de Riesgos Laborales por puesto de Trabajo del Ministerio de Relaciones Laborales del Ecuador, where through the use of quantitatives methods like we fine W. Fine, Biogaval, B.O.E n. 97, Owas, Meseri Mejorado and Measure Instruments gauged, allowed to get the value of them, as a result the presence of risks Mechanical, Biologics, and Ergonomic; also performed both Laboratory Analysis of water used in the process as the discharged effluent, to determine the quality of these. With the information obtained the project is: Safety and Industrial Hygiene Management and Water Quality to allow control occupational risks and the proper and efficient use of water resources through the application of preventive control measures.
