    The purpose of this research work is to determine the impact of "the use of technology in the allocation of family roles in the students of the FJCS of the Technical University of Ambato", since the excessive use of technology influences Direct and indirect way in the role played by students in their families, as the family is the central axis in the formation of a person, it is essential to study the internal dynamics of the same. The methodology used for the development of the research work allowed to correlate the dependent and independent variable, through the collection of statistical data, which was done through the application of a survey, which assessed aspects related to the use of technology and family roles. In the application of the surveys that were conducted the students could obtain the necessary information to be able to elaborate the proposal and determine the influence of the use of technology in the familiar roles of the students. Finally, the research proposal was made through an "Intervention Plan for students of the Faculty of Jurisprudence and Social Sciences of the Technical University of Ambato to improve family functionality and promote the responsible use of technology", which consists of an intervention protocol that will improve the way in which family roles are assumed and how to use technology in a positive way.
