This research analyzes the psychosocial risks in informal work, focusing its study on the workers of the Plaza de "San Sebastián" in the Latacunga Canton. This work is relevant because psychosocial risks significantly affect the physical, mental and social well-being of workers, generating an impact on their quality of life and work performance. The main objective is to identify and evaluate the risk factors present in this population, contributing to the development of public policies and intervention strategies that improve their working conditions. The study employs a quantitative approach, allowing for the systematic collection, analysis and interpretation of data. A questionnaire based on a Likert scale was designed and applied, which evaluated four key dimensions: sociodemographic data, intra-work factors, extra-work factors and stress. The data collection was carried out with the collaboration of the workers on a voluntary basis, thanks to the support ofthe president ofthe fair. The results reveal that 48% of informal workers present high or very high levels of exposure to psychosocial risks, highlighting job insecurity, insufficient income and emotional exhaustion. Additionally, 40% experience social isolation and 38% face physical health problems associated with unfavorable working conditions. Six main dimensions of risks were identified: occupational, economic, psychological, social, physical and organizational, with the lack of access to mental health services being a critical problem for 45% of those surveyed. I came to the conclusion that the psychosocial risks in informal work comprehensively affect workers, this study shows the need to implement public policies that include access to mental health services, social support networks and the gradual formalization of employment. These measures could mitigate stress, improve economic stability and promote fairer working conditions, favoring the comprehensive development of informal workers and guaranteeing their inclusion in a more equitable society.

To achieve this objective, a methodology was developed that includes a quantitative approach, a structured survey was used to collect data from a sample of 60 employees, which was specifically designed to evaluate a variety of psychosocial factors that can affect operation and well-being. of the staff. The factors investigated included work overload, work environment, and perception of excessive effort. The survey covered questions related to the amount and intensity of tasks assigned, the adequacy of resources available to perform the work, and the level of support received from colleagues and superiors. The survey methodology was rigorous, with questions designed to elicit quantitative responses that provided a comprehensive view of the psychosocial risks faced by employees. The data obtained were statistically analyzed to identify patterns and correlations between the different factors evaluated, providing a solid basis for the research conclusions and recommendations. The results highlight the need to address perceptions of excessive effort and improve working conditions to reduce psychosocial risks. Among the key recommendations, it is suggested to implement work support and well-being programs, as well as adjust the workload and improve communication between employees and management to mitigate the impact of psychosocial risks and promote a healthier work environment. (Universidad Técnica de Ambato,Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo social, 2021-11) Tovar Cárdenas, Mishelle Alexandra; Espín Miniguano, Anita Dalila
The present degree project was proposed by means of two variables that are of general knowledge and represent a social problem in the lives of workers, such as Telework and Psychosocial Risks that can occur in teachers of the educational unit "Seeds of Life" from the city of Latacunga, province of Cotopaxi. Therefore, a general objective has been proposed and three specific objectives to be developed, the main one is the detection of psychosocial risks and the influence they cause on the psychological well-being of teachers, the diagnosis of the level of workload of each teacher, analysis of risk factors and finally actions that can be executed to minimize or eliminate this problem through workshops and professional intervention who will promote knowledge in new technologies and digital platforms to reduce the discomforts developed by the new modality. Due to this new modality, there have been several inconveniences in the teachers' routine, for which it has been decided to carry out this work through a correlational analysis of the surveys applied to the teachers, showing several results that were analyzed and interpreted in order to obtain values and make decisions about the possible actions to face these risks. Once the research is completed, with data established under standardized parameters, it can be confirmed that the new telework model recurs as a direct condition in the appearance of psychosocial risks in the teachers of the Educational Unit. Through this, a proposal will be used on the activities that will be applied to teachers to minimize the impact of the use of new technologies, thus eliminating risks until they can resume face-to-face educational activities. To conclude, one of the main recommendations is to train teaching staff with friendly techniques and methods on the use of new technologies, digital platforms, electronic connection equipment and social networks, through which they can obtain adequate knowledge, thus turning weaknesses into strengths. and thus achieving the elimination of psychosocial risks.
