This research work is based in the transmission of a transgenerational culture between generations and how this affects family relationships, deals with the weak parental knowledge about the integral growth of children and their negligent commitment in their children’s education. The transmission of events that were experienced by previous generations is analyzed, and how they are latent in families unconsciously as parenting patterns. The reality of childhood highlights the need to transcend to a family culture that contributes to the common good of its members, through reflective workshops where life stories of parents as a basis for the development of a functional guide, which will improve the quality of family life. Today's society requires individuals as subjects not objects, that they must be able to discern and develop his present to project towards a better future, without ties or strings that lead them to a precarious life. In addition, parents should aware that parenting corresponds only to the family, it teachings are basic pillars for life, as it is the first and only context in which human beings are formed integrally; and, that the social environment is the complement and reinforce their learning. There is the importance of understanding that it is never too late to start again.
