    ABSTRACT The use of assisted mobility equipment for people with physical disabilities allows the integration of these people into society and interaction with their daily lives. For this reason, this project focuses on improving the process of changing the state of a wheelchair to a standing frame by designing an automation and control system for a standing frame for the rehabilitation center "Bendiciones". The present project describes the design of an automation and control system incorporated in a wheelchair - standing frame, whose owner is Mr. Cristian Núñez who has 90% of physical disability caused by paraplegia. In order to carry out this project, a mechanism that adapts to the characteristics of the wheelchair is required, since in principle the chair works manually and was designed with that sole purpose in mind. The elevation mechanism and the system to be implemented must not alter the physical structure of the two-legged chair, nor must it interfere with its main operation. The operation of the automation and control system of the Standing Frame consists of the use of a mobile mechanism that allows the vertical displacement of the wheelchair, supporting the weight of the structure, as well as the patient's body weight. The movement of this mechanism must provide a linear and stable movement, besides having a manual control that allows operating the vertical movement of the chair without the need of assistance personnel and above all, providing free mobility in the change of the patient's posture. As a result, there will be an efficient system implemented in the two-legged wheelchair that performs this process in an automated and controlled way, keeping the integrity and good functioning of the working devices, covering with this the specific needs of the patient.

    ABSTRACT In the present research project is analized the excessive consumption of drinking water, focussing on showing in an appropriately way the information and generate a hardware tool and a free software to facilitate the monitoring of this resource from the company in charge of its distribution. In the process is applied the general features of the Internet of things ( abreviated “IOT”, as will be used from now on ). In a system directly oriented to the measurement of variables linked to a domótica environment. On that basis, the research is directed to develop an electronic system of drinking water consumption monitoring. The design system is based on a flow sensor which determinate the drinking water flow in a residential place along the daily routine. Taking as a basis the value the meter show at the start of the day. The daily consumption gets determinated by using a low-cost control ( Single Board Compute abreviated SBC, from now on ). The data acquisition gets done with the sensor and the control actions get executed in a solenoid valve that controls the flow of the drinking water in the home.After that, an access point is stabilized under a bydirectional communication protocol (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) for sending and receiving data. These data will be managed by a server. In addition, this server is in charge of the provision of results through a web page, showing details as the total consume, date, hour, user name, meter code, etc.

    Sistema electrónico de detección y rastreo de mascotas

    ABSTRACT In the present titling project, an electronic system of Detection and Tracking of Pets is implemented. Which was developed based on the problem generated by the loss of pets in society, for it is proposed a lowcost electronic prototype for the location of the same in case of loss. The system includes a Xadow GSM + BLE module capable of connecting to the mobile network of any operator in the country, allowing the prototype to have a means of communication to transmit information between the entire system. Another module that is included is the Xadow GPS v2 module, which allows the prototype to capture the coordinates emitted by the GPS from any point on Earth where the device is located. The information collected by the GPS module is transmitted to a server that is hosted in a Hosting by means of the GSM module and this hosted data can be monitored through a web and mobile interface using the APIs of Google Maps, to generate bookmarks where detect the coordinates received by the entire system. In this way it is possible to have a monitoring either of previous dates or in real time depending on the selection by the user who monitors it.
