Carrera de Software, 2025-02) Chancusig Palacios Edison Javier; Jara Moya Santiago DavidThe Empresa Eléctrica Provincial de Cotopaxi S.A. faces significant challenges in per diem management due to manual and error-prone processes, which affects both operational efficiency and transparency in the management of resources allocated to employees for travel and activities outside the workplace. This project proposes the development and implementation of a multiplatform software that optimizes the company’s travel expense management. The solution aims to automate and streamline the process of request, approval, registration and payment of travel expenses, improving coordination between the different areas involved, such as operations and finance. The software was developed following the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach, which allowed an agile and flexible delivery of the product, facilitating adjustments and improvements in response to the company’s changing requirements. The system includes an intuitive and modern user interface, accessible from mobile devices and web platform, ensuring an efficient and user-friendly user experience. The software includes the implementation of APIs for real-time data verification, such as the validation of electronic invoices through the SRI (Internal Revenue Service) APIs. Standard and modern technologies will be used to ensure the scalability, security and performance of the system. Finally, the implementation of the developed software constitutes a comprehensive solution to address the existing limitations in the per diem management of Empresa Eléctrica Provincial de Cotopaxi S.A. By automating the request, approval, registration and payment processes, the system allows a reduction in processing times and improves the overall efficiency of the workflow.
