Item Sistema inalámbrico de alarma comunitaria con smartwatch y tecnología IOT(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Telecomunicaciones, 2025-02) Chuquitarco Taco Wilmer Fabricio; Pallo Noroña Juan PabloThe implementation of a community alarm control and monitoring system seeks to improve security in neighbourhoods and citadels, overcoming current limitations in terms of speed of response and accuracy in locating incidents. Leveraging technologies such as LoRa and advanced communication protocols such as SSE, the system optimises alert management, ensuring fast and reliable transmission. The system allows alerts to be generated via a smartwatch or a mobile app, which are transmitted using LoRa technology. The central server manages and distributes the information to both the application and the nodes, ensuring efficient communication between all elements of the system. The mobile application, with an intuitive interface, receives real-time notifications via SSE (Server Sent Events) and also provides local notifications. Each alert includes details of the user who triggered it, along with a Google Maps link that allows the user to be redirected to the location of the trigger, automatically mapping a route to the site. This system solves key problems such as delays in transmitting information and lack of accurate details about the location of the alert, significantly improving emergency response capability. Tests demonstrated instant activations, either from smartwatches or the mobile app, offering a scalable and efficient solution that can be integrated into larger projects.
