In recent years, the use of technological tools has seen a notable increase, driving the development of both small businesses and large companies. The purpose of this project is to implement technological solutions in Perfitool to optimize its order management, improve its reach, and consequently boost the growth of its sales. Specifically, the development of a mobile application is proposed to facilitate interaction between the business and its customers, offering a more convenient ordering experience while optimizing the use of available resources. Mobile applications have become a key tool to strengthen the relationship with customers, enabling more direct and efficient communication. Carrera de Software, 2025-02) López Galarza Edison Orlando; Ibarra Torres Oscar FernandoCustomer service channel saturation has been a growing challenge for many companies, especially with the rise of platforms such as WhatsApp. According to a 2020 McKinsey & Company report, the use of instant messaging for customer care increased by 80% globally, leading to critical saturation that limited companies' efficiency and ability to grow. This phenomenon highlighted the urgent need for technological solutions that optimize customer service, without compromising service quality. The purpose of this research project was to address this issue at Ingedemy, where the saturation of customer service channels, particularly WhatsApp, hindered agile and personalized interaction with customers. The initiative focused on developing and implementing a robust Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution that would improve the clarity of information, reduce response times and personalize each user's experience. The solution adopted integrated several technologies, including a chatbot based on GPT-4, web scraping techniques to obtain updated information and a web platform for performance analysis and lead management. The chatbot interacts efficiently through WhatsApp, using a NoSQL database in Firebase, the web platform includes a Kanban board and a dashboard for metrics visualization. Carrera de Telecomunicaciones, 2025-02) Barba Proaño Silvia Guadalupe; Brito Moncayo Geovanni DaniloThe present research work focuses on the development of an automated access control system utilizing artificial intelligence for monitoring students and teachers of the faculty in the technological workshops of the FISEI at the Technical University of Ambato. The project encompasses everything from analyzing technical and operational requirements to implementing an intelligent system that integrates specialized hardware and software. Integration schemes for the system were designed, which include the use of biometric capture devices and facial recognition cameras connected to an artificial intelligence platform. This system enables automatic identification and registration of user entries, ensuring efficient control. Additionally, parameters were established to manage realtime alerts and generate detailed reports on user attendance and duration in the workshops. The implementation of the system included the development of machine learning algorithms to optimize facial recognition and user authentication, as well as the integration of a user-friendly interface that facilitates its use by administrative personnel. Functional tests were conducted in both simulated and real environments, verifying the accuracy of recognition and the robustness of the system under various operational conditions. Finally, the system was validated through pilot tests in the technological workshops, demonstrating its effectiveness in access management and continuous monitoring, contributing to security, and optimizing the use of available resources at FISEI.Item Desarrollo de un sistema para la generación de contenido audiovisual utilizando recursos basados en inteligencia artificial y su incidencia en los tiempos de producción(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Software, 2025-02) Galarza Tamayo Daniel Gerardo; Jara Moya Santiago DavidThe production of educational videos poses significant challenges in terms of time and quality. This project developed an automated system to optimize audiovisual content creation using artificial intelligence tools. Key technologies include Microsoft Azure Text-to-Speech for voice synthesis, GPT-4 for scriptwriting, FFMPEG for programmatic video editing, and Electron JS for developing a scalable desktop application with a user-friendly interface. The system automates critical processes such as slide creation, narration generation, and scriptwriting, achieving a 67.43% reduction in production time. It addresses the needs of Ingedemy instructors, who faced bottlenecks in stages like editing and recording. Results validated significant improvements in efficiency and quality, emphasizing the system’s ability to personalize and standardize content. This project demonstrates that integrating these technological tools not only reduces manual workloads but also fosters the adoption of innovative solutions to meet the growing demand for high-quality educational content.Item Máquina automatizada de congelación para el proceso de ultracongelación de alimentos(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2024-08) Jácome Bastidas, Washington Stalin; Salazar Logroño, Franklin WilfridoThis paper deals with the design and development of an automated freezing machine for the ultra-freezing process of foodstuffs. In the context of high competitiveness and technological advances, manufacturing companies need to modernize their operations. This project focuses on the implementation of control systems and production flexibilities. The research includes a detailed analysis of the refrigeration system, from the desing of the freezing tunnel to the implementation of a PLC for its control. The tunnel freezer operates an advanced process in which products are exposed to cold air streams at controlled speeds, allowing for a rapid and uniform temperature reduction. Results show that the developed system can reach ultra-low temperatures in record times, significantly reducing operating costs and increasing productivity. In tests, the machine was able to freeze food products in an average time of 12 minutes, guaranteeing optimal preservation of quality and freshness. In conclusion, the developed blast freezing machine represents a significant breakthrough in the food industry, offering tangible benefits in terms of quality, productivity and sustainability.Item Destiladora automatizada para el proceso de alcohol de caña(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2024-08) Carrillo Naranjo, Kevin Damián; Salazar Logroño, Franklin WilfridoTechnological progress in industrial sectors has driven the need for new analytical approaches that benefit society, especially in small and medium industry, by accelerating production and generating more opportunities. Automated manufacturing, resulting from the interaction between economic forces and technical innovations such as mechanization and food systems, has transformed global production chains. However, in the field of industrial distillers, small enterprises and artisans are excluded due to high equipment costs, dominated by multinationals. In Ecuador, despite the existence of ethyl alcohol producing companies, their global presence is limited compared to countries such as Brazil, Colombia and Peru. In the Pangua canton (Cotopaxi), small entrepreneurs face a lack of adequate equipment and resources, limiting the production of distillates and hindering exports. The growing importance of ethyl alcohol production from native plants, such as sugarcane, faces challenges due to low-capacity distiller designs, affecting the productivity and quality of the artisanal liquor. The project seeks to design an automated distiller focused on supporting entrepreneurs, improving the capacity and efficiency of the distillation process. This design will be developed at the School of Systems, Electronics and Industrial Engineering of the Technical University of Ambato, taking advantage of workstations that will promote innovation in process automation. This project is expected to boost the regional productive matrix, offering micro-enterprises a solution to compete and expand in the global market.Item Fabricación de una máquina automatizada para el clasificado y empaquetado de fresas(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2024-02) Mena Chungata, José David; Salazar Logroño, Franklin WilfridoThe aim of this research project is to design, build and automate a milling cutter sorting machine. Starting with a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the alternatives to determine the sorting system, the selected model is based on the principle of a sorting table divided into three sections. Next, the elements, electronics and electrical devices required for the construction are selected. The individual parts of the machine were designed in AutoCAD software and the choice of the implemented components was made by comparing the elements by predefined aspects. Finally, the machine is built by assembling the components and elements. The communication of the machine components is established through the Modbus TCP/IP protocol, which operates as a client-server by sending a request frame, which indicates to the slave which operation to perform based on a Holding Register data register. In addition, Keepserver is used as a communication channel between TIA PORTAL V15, Arduino and Wonderware Intouch software. The automatic control system allows to supervise and monitor the amount of burr containers that the machine sorts. It also allows manipulation of the machine's actuators in two modes of operation: manual and automatic. Tests run on the strawberry sorting and packing machine demonstrate a production capacity of 55.61 kg per hour, averaging between 63 and 64 bins of small, medium and large strawberries.Item Aplicación web usando contenedores para la gestión de cursos de actualización de conocimientos de estudiantes del Centro de Posgrados de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información, 2024-02) Jiménez Bustamante, Bruno Rodrigo; Ibarra Torres, Oscar FernandoEl propósito de este proyecto fue automatizar los procesos de gestión de cursos de actualización de conocimientos del Centro de Posgrados de la UTA. Esto se llevó a cabo mediante la implementación de una aplicación Web, que tiene como objetivo simplificar y controlar de manera eficiente el proceso e información de estos cursos. Este enfoque quiere contribuir a que estudiantes se puedan matricular de manera ágil y así poder culminar co n sus estudios. La aplicación Web fue desarrollada utilizando contenedores en el cual se eligió la herramienta Docker para esta gestión luego de realizar una comparación de herramientas que permitían gestionar contenedores. Esto ayudo a un desarrollo del aplicativo ágil y eficiente además que se acoplo de manera sencilla con el framework Laravel el cual se utilizó para el desarrollo de la aplicación web. El uso de Laravel favoreció en gran medida en el desarrollo de la aplicación ya que ofrecía algunas ventajas como el manejo de usuarios y seguridad, una de estas era la facilidad de roles y permisos usando librerías propias, así mismo su midleware permitía proteger las vistas según los permisos que tenga del usuario además de su autentificación. Asimismo, se implementó la metodología XP, la cual desempeñó un papel importante en el avance del proyecto al favorecer un proceso de desarrollo ordenado y eficaz. Como resultado, se logró ofrecer un software de buena calidad que satisface de manera integr al todos los requisitos y expectativas del cliente.Item Desarrollo de aplicación web para la automatización de la fiscalización y subida de información de las redes de distribución al sistema de información geográfica de la Empresa Eléctrica Ambato Regional Centro Norte S.A.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Software, 2023-09) Supe Silva, Ricardo Esteban; Chicaiza Castillo, Dennis VinicioThis project was born with the need to automate the review process of the "Hojas de Estacamiento" received by the Planning Department of Empresa Electrica Ambato Regional Centro Norte S.A., the review of these sheets is a process that takes approximately thirty minutes and for each error found added more time in its review. First, in the requirements gathering for the development of the system, surveys and interviews were conducted with EEASA staff in order to obtain technical and functional requirements that would allow the understanding of the processes they manage and use them in favor of the automation and development of the system. For the storage of digital files, we opted for BLOB data types because it gives greater advantage than using external storage. Secondly, agile methodologies were investigated to facilitate the development of the application, giving OOHDM as the best option, during its early stages of development allows to generate a code base from its diagrams. On the one hand, it speeds up the development of the application, on the other hand, it takes time to diagram, define its navigational context and create abstract views, but in the end, it is time invested for the benefit of the development stage of the methodology. Finally, as technological tools. Spring Boot and Oracle were used as a requirement requested by the head of the PD. Also. Angular was selected as the best Front-End framework in a comparison with other tools. In short, the system is currently being used by all contractors, allowing them to upload their files and obtain their certificate at any time of the day, at the same time, the work used by the DP administrative staff was reduced considerably.Item Aplicación web multiplataforma para la automatización de los procesos de gestión y control de información deportiva de la Liga Deportiva Cantonal Quero.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información, 2023-09) Nuñez Lucero, Joselyn Lissette; Fernando Ibarra Torres, FernandoNowadays, organizations seek to systematize their manual processes through the use of new technologies and tools that help them improve their processes, reduce time, eliminate errors and improve customer satisfaction. This project was developed with the purpose of automating the processes of control and management of the information of players, teams and football championships of the Quero Cantonal Sports League, through the integration of a web application, which will simplify, streamline and control efficiently the information within the Sports League. With this, it was possible to improve the organization and coordination of soccer championships, game calendars, position tables, players, and also comply with the internal regulations of the Sports League. The web application was created and developed using the Angular (Frontend) and Laravel (Backend) frameworks, which allowed to streamline the development process and perform good programming practices thanks to the use of design patterns. In addition, the XP methodology was applied, which was of great importance for the development of the project, since it allowed an organized and efficient development and therefore provided quality software that meets all the requirements and expectations of the client.
