    Diseño de un sistema de gestión técnica de seguridad ocupacional en la escuela de operadores de maquinaria pesada Somec Napo

    The present research work aims to provide SOMEC Napo School with a technical management of occupational health and safety, for which a qualitative-quantitative approach is applied that addresses the perception and experience of workers to analyse the current situation of the institution; likewise, during the visits, the risks present are identified and their estimation is carried out using the INSHT general risk assessment guide. The risks classified as important and intolerant were measured following applicable internationally accepted standards: lighting with NOM-025-STPS-2008, noise with NTE INEN-ISO 9612 and the ISTAS 21 questionnaire for psychosocial risk. The results indicate that the instructors are exposed to non-ionising radiation (ultraviolet rays), noise that in some cases exceeds 85 dB, collisions with immobile objects and falls to different levels; on the other hand, the administrative staff are exposed to: stress, tension, mental fatigue and noise levels above 70 dB for offices; finally, teachers work under inadequate lighting, with values below the 300 lux required for classrooms, as well as facing stress, tension and mental fatigue in carrying out their activities. Finally, the importance of establishing control measures to mitigate the physical, psychological and mechanical risks identified is concluded. These proposals are socialised with the director of the institution who evaluates their feasibility and commits to their future implementation, guaranteeing a safe and healthy working environment.

    Riesgos mecánicos en el área de producción en la empresa Heron

    This research study is carried out in the productive area of HERON, a manufacturing company located in the Lasso neighborhood, Tanicuchi parish, Latacunga canton of the Cotopaxi province, specialized in the design and construction of stainless equipment and machinery for the food industry. The INSHT risk assessment matrix was achieved to identify the hazards and estimate the risks in the different jobs of the company, which resulted in identifying a total of 101 risks in the 12 existing jobs to mechanical risks, 12% to environmental risks, 10% to psychosocial risks, 9% to ergonomic risks, 5% to physical risks and 3% to chemical risks. Twenty trivial risks were identified, 48 tolerable, 23 moderate, 8 important and 2 intolerable. The evaluation of mechanical risks was carried out using the NTP 330 methodology, which allowed the identification of 25 mechanical risks, of which 18 are better, 5 important and 2 intolerable critical that require immediate correction, while 80% of the risks are at level II, which requires correcting and adopting control measures. Finally, as a preventive measure for risk control, a risk management plan is proposed that includes company information, risk assessment methods and a series of programs and procedures suggested for the proper development of activities in the production área.

    Actually, data has become a valuable resource for organizations and its control demands a thorough analysis in order to protect them from possible risks to which they are exposed. In this manner, it seeks to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and accessibility of information. The present research proyect aims to implement an information security management system (ISMS) based on the ISO 27001 standard for the control of computer security of the company EPCCOMPU in Ambato city. First, a study of ISO 27001 was carried out to create a manual based on the ISO 27001:2013 standard, which contains the necessary points that must be followed to correctly implement an Information Security Management System, then an analysis of the current state of computer security through the collection of information from interviews and an observation sheet that allowed obtaining a starting point for the design of the ISMS, an analysis of the critical processes of the company EPC-COMPU to perform risk assessment in order to identify and analyze the vulnerabilities and threats involved in the management of information security for this analysis, the necessary controls of the ISO 27001 standard were selected, then risk management was carried out identifying prevention, detection and correction by consequence detailed in the contingency plan. Finally, monitoring and control processes were developed to define the activities with their respective managers

    Sistema de Gestión de la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo basado en la Norma ISO 45001:2018 para una empresa de alimentos balanceados

    This work has been developed under the research line materials and manufacturing processes for the industry and is born from the need to implement a Management System for Safety and Health at Work that meets the requirements established in the ISO 45001:2018 Standard, aiming to significantly improve the control of occupational risks in the company Balanceados Nutritivos. For which, a field methodology was used, through the application of a checklist designed to evidence the level of compliance through a percentage value of each of the sections of the standard, obtaining an overall result of 21% compliance, mainly due to the lack of documentary justification in each of the processes and the incipient activities in OSH issues. Therefore, in order to guide the organization towards a culture of prevention and control of occupational risks, improvement actions have been established, a manual, procedures, records and instructions have been prepared, and an OSH policy and objectives have been established. Finally, it has been determined that such implementation generated statistically significant changes in favor of the improvement in risk control (p=0.00), obtaining an overall result of 65% compliance with the requirements of the Standard.
