    This project focuses on addressing people's needs in terms of communication via mobile devices. For this purpose, data collection was carried out to identify the needs and difficulties they face in their daily communication. The main objective was to develop an application that would not only facilitate their communication skills, but also give them the opportunity to actively participate in chat conversations with other users. The application was built using Java on the Android platform, and voice commands were implemented in order to allow users to control the receiving and sending of text messages through spoken instructions. This approach not only sought to improve accessibility, but also to make the application more intuitive and easier to use for those with visual impairments. In order to carry out the development efficiently and effectively, the Mobile D methodology was adopted, ensuring an agile process that fulfilled each of its phases. The primary focus of this research is to provide a specific solution for people with visual impairments. The application was designed with the premise that users would be able to use it autonomously, without relying on additional applications or external virtual assistants.

    Aplicación móvil para dispositivos android aplicando modelos de predicción para la gestión de pedidos en Ramones Restaurant.

    This research project focuses on the development and implementation of an Android mobile application using predictive models for order management at Ramones Restaurant. The primary objective was to optimize the company's customer service process by integrating technology into its traditional order management system. An in-depth analysis of the existing order management procedures at Ramones Restaurant was conducted, revealing significant inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Various predictive models were evaluated, with a focus on their adaptability, scalability, and potential for integration into the restaurant’s operational structure. Artificial neural networks were identified as the most suitable due to their flexible architecture. The mobile application was developed using robust software frameworks, facilitating a faster and more efficient development process. The mobile application was developed using the Scrumban agile methodology, to ensure adaptability to changing requirements and unforeseen challenges. The implementation of the application demonstrated the feasibility and benefits of introducing advanced technologies in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The findings suggest that such integrations can be successfully achieved with careful planning and consideration of business-specific complexities. The study recommends further comparative analysis of predictive models to optimize the application’s performance. Future research should explore the broader impact of technology implementation in SMEs. Additionally, a post-implementation evaluation plan for Ramones Restaurant is advised to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation of the application to meet evolving business needs and customer expectations

    Detección de vulnerabilidades de seguridad en bloqueadores de anuncios en dispositivos móviles Android.

    The proliferation of advertising in mobile device applications and the increasing number of adware led to the development of ad blocker applications. Its use produced better device performance, user experience and privacy. However, due to the benefits, relevant aspects were left aside, such as what information is collected and shared, what actions are taken to protect the information and what permissions are requested by the application. Agree with it, this project have as objective demonstrate that Android ad blocker applications present computer vulnerabilities and that, in the event of a possible exploitation of a vulnerability, all the information handled by the application may be compromised. To do this, a random sample of one hundred ad blocker applications was taken, which were analyzed with the VirusTotal tool and a manual review of the source code available with the Android Studio IDE. As a result, eight types of vulnerabilities were identified, substantiated by CVE records. Finally, a total of thirteen recommendations were raised, to make it difficult to exploit the vulnerabilities found. That is estimated to lead to a decrease in the possibility of exploiting vulnerabilities that affect ad blockers.

    Currently, the use of mobile devices increases the potential of marketing processes of companies to offer various services and products. In order to improve the ability to generate orders using purchase and consumption patterns, with the aim of increasing the efficiency of commercial management, the system called Digital Order App, a native mobile application for devices with Android operating system, is implemented. In application of the agile Mobile-D methodology, for net development of mobile applications, composed of different phases and exposed to previous planned iterations. A good performance of use is guaranteed, by establishing two types of communications, the local communication that establishes a SQLite Room DB database, to manage functionalities in an offline way, and a remote communication that provides the data exchange between the client and the enterprise database server, making use of API Rest application programming interface. The benefit of the research aims to prevent the company MEGAKONS S.A. from losing potential sales, expanding the rotation of the inventory of items and making the most of the business policies established in its strategic management. As an additional factor, order monitoring is essential to reduce the risk of human error. Having options for verification, modification and deletion of data is of vital importance in the area of commercial management. On the other hand, applying security in the http communication protocol allows safeguarding the customer's trust by detailing protection, reliability and robustness with the system and the corporate infrastructure.

    Aplicación Firebase Android para la gestión de tareas académicas a los estudiantes de educación básica en la Unidad Educativa Emanuel

    Use of technology helps to ensure the fulfillment of homework having a positive impact on student academic training, because in the educational environment homework plays an important role, because it reinforces the knowledge acquired by students in the classroom thus achieving a successful teaching-learning process. The objective of this project is to assist students and teachers of the Emanuel Educational Unit in the processes of academic homeworks by providing a technological tool for this purpose, so reducing the rate of non-compliance and helping the management of new knowledge. The firebase Android application is used in the sending and receiving homeworks process, saving their information, their details, and their respective instructions in the cloud so that students always have access to them, also notifications are sent reminding them to perform the homeworks and review them for their respective submission, achieving that the compliance rate is higher. The application was developed using java as programming language and Android Studio as development IDE, firebase services were used to manage the database in the cloud, to register user accounts and to send notifications, all this was possible through the Mobile - D application as development methodology.

    The present investigation titled Mobile application of geolocation for management and control of sellers of the company "SKANDINAR S.A". Its purpose is to help the company in the process of control and follow up of the personnel in the sales area, because according to the preliminary investigation there were problems related to delays with the deliveries of the products and noncompliance with the designated routes with great frequency. With this antecedent and due to the compilation of information of previous investigations that have developed applications that have successfully contributed to the control of salesmen and optimal management of routes, it is essential to implement an application that improves the process of control of the salesmen in the "SKANDINAR S.A" company. For this investigation work, the information was collected through a survey questionnaire, previously structured, evaluated and approved. The purpose of this survey was to know which was the degree of acceptance of the salesmen before the use of an application for the management of their routes to which due to the frequent use of mobile devices the great acceptance of this technology as a work tool was reflected. As it has been explained, when developing the application, what has been tried is its easy handling and the interactivity with the salesman so that its use is frequent and in this way the performance of the salesmen in the coverage of the routes to which they are assigned can be improved, since the proposed application allows the geographic location of clients that belong to the previously proposed route. In the same way, the Sales Department Manager would be able to effectively control and fulfill the functions of his work team.

    Red inalámbrica para geolocalización en espacios cerrados aplicada al marketing digital en centros comerciales

    El presente proyecto de investigación describe la implementación de un prototipo de red inalámbrica que conjuntamente con una aplicación móvil permitirá determinar la ubicación de un smartphone dentro de un centro comercial, esta información se utilizará para la optimización de campañas de marketing digital, mostrando al usuario a través de su dispositivo móvil información netamente relacionada a su posicionamiento en el interior de establecimientos comerciales, así se desplegará información publicitaria como anuncios, promociones, precios; o información de asistencia al cliente. La red interna consiste en un conjunto de transmisores bluetooth estos dispositivos emiten constantemente su identificación la cual es recibida por los teléfonos móviles de los clientes a través de una aplicación de software libre Android, por medio de esta interfaz se identificará los dispositivos bluetooth y se desplegará en pantalla información que será de gran utilidad para los consumidores convirtiendo así a su propio smartphone en un asistente de compras, lo que se conoce hoy en día como marketing de proximidad. Los transmisores Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) más conocidos como Beacons tienen un reducido tamaño y su consumo de energía es mínimo por lo que es suficiente usar una batería de litio de 3v tipo moneda la cual tiene una vida útil de 3 años antes de ser reemplazada, estas características permiten ubicar los dispositivos en cualquier lugar ya que no presentan la necesidad de conectarse a la red eléctrica y tampoco necesitan de ningún otro tipo de cableado entre dispositivos ya que es únicamente el smartphone el que interactúa con ellos de forma inalámbrica, para ello el usuario deberá instalar la aplicación en su dispositivo móvil y activar la función bluetooth. Como resultado se obtiene un sistema eficiente que permite ubicar dispositivos móviles dentro de un establecimiento comercial cerrado, mejorando la experiencia de los clientes al realizar sus compras y consecuentemente contribuyendo a los comerciantes a incrementar sus ganancias. This research project describes the implementation of a wireless network prototype which, together with a mobile application, will determine the location of a smartphone inside a shopping center, this information will be used for the optimization of digital marketing campaigns, showing the user through its cellphone information clearly related to its positioning inside commercial establishments, thus will display advertising information such as ads, promotions, prices; or customer support information. The network prototype consists of a set of bluetooth transmitters, these devices constantly emit their identification which is received by the mobile phones of customers through an Android free application, through this interface the bluetooth devices will be identified and It will display information that will be very useful for consumers, thus turning their own smartphone into a shopping assistant, what is known today as proximity marketing. The Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) transmitters or “Beacons” are small and their energy consumption is minimal, so it is sufficient to use a coin-type 3v lithium battery which has a useful life of 3 years before being replaced, these features allow you to locate the devices anywhere since they do not have the need to connect to the electrical network and do not need any other type of wiring between devices because it is only the smartphone that interacts with them wirelessly, for this the user must install the application on their mobile device and activate the bluetooth function. As a result, an efficient system is obtained that allows mobile devices to be located within a closed commercial establishment, improving the customer experience for making purchases and consequently contributing to merchants to increase their profits.

    Aplicación multiplataforma (Web/Android) para la gestión y control del proceso de titulación de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Tecnologías de la Información, Telecomunicaciones e Industrial

    En el presente proyecto se detalla la creación de una aplicación web/móvil que automatiza el proceso de Titulación con la finalidad de agilizar procesos mediante la asignación de roles y un modelo de base de datos relacional haciendo uso de la tecnología de .NET Framework de la mano de ASP .NET y tecnologías multiplataforma. El sistema permite a los usuarios del Proceso almacenar datos de solicitudes, resoluciones de Consejo Académico y la Unidad de Titulación y que puedan pasar rápidamente a través de la BDD. El sistema web permite al usuario acceder a los diferentes módulos para proceder al proceso de titulación. Además, la parte móvil de la aplicación se realiza mediante tecnologías multiplataforma para que los estudiantes puedan consultar en qué estado esta su propuesta de trabajo de titulación en cualquiera de sus tres modalidades acogidas en la Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Los lineamientos generales para la Aplicación de Instructivos de las Modalidades de Titulación de las facultades de la Universidad cuentan con varias Modalidades las cuales pueden acoger las diferentes facultades las que crean necesarias para cada una de sus Carreras, en el caso de nuestra Facultad se hace uso de las Modalidades de Examen Complexivo o Proyecto de Investigación, Articulo académico. El proceso se ha venido almacenando mediante la Unidad de Titulación, Tutores y Estudiantes mediante registros de papel, los cuales pueden causar el “traspapelo” y almacenar de forma desordenada; siendo este el objetivo principal del Sistema para automatizar el Proceso de Titulación que permitirá almacenar a los distintos usuarios participantes del proceso registrar sus oficios, solicitudes y posteriormente saber si sus resoluciones han sido aprobadas para continuar con el proceso y que el tutor pueda seguirlo de cerca además de los demás roles involucrados. ABSTRACT This project details the creation of a web / mobile application that automates the Titling process in order to streamline processes by assigning roles and a relational database model using the .NET Framework technology of the ASP .NET hand and crossplatform technologies. The system allows users of the Process to store application data, resolutions of the Academic Council and the Degree Unit and that they can quickly pass through the BDD. The web system allows the user to access the different modules to proceed to the titling process. In addition, the mobile part of the application is carried out through multiplatform technologies so that students can check the status of their degree work proposal in any of its three modalities hosted by the Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. The general guidelines for the Application of Instructions of the Modalities of Titling of the faculties of the University have several Modalities, which can accommodate the different faculties which they deem necessary for each of their Careers, in the case of our Faculty, use is made of the Modalities of Complex Examination or Research Project, Academic Article. The process has been stored through the Degree Unit, Tutors and Students through paper records, which can cause the “overlapping” and store in a disorderly manner; This being the main objective of the System to automate the Titling Process that will allow the different users participating in the process to be stored to register their trades, applications and subsequently know if their resolutions have been approved to continue with the process and that the tutor can follow it closely In addition to the other roles involved.

    Sistema de gestión para historias clínicas bajo la plataforma Android orientado a los médicos del condominio del hospital Millennium

    Resumen El avance de la tecnología con respecto a los dispositivos móviles es de pasos agigantados, esto ha dado lugar a que las aplicaciones que podemos disponer sobre un teléfono inteligente sean de excelentes prestaciones y brinden un gran número de posibilidades, la diversidad de estas aplicaciones es tan amplia desde aplicaciones simples como un juego de rompecabezas hasta aplicaciones complejas para el manejo de maquinaria industrial. El trabajo de los profesionales de la salud también requiere de sistemas que ayuden para poder registrar información, de esta manera se ha visto necesario crear una aplicación para dispositivos móviles sobre la plataforma Android, que facilite las tareas del médico permitiendo llevar la información de sus pacientes en su teléfono inteligente. Basado en las experiencias de los médicos del condominio del hospital Millennium que son los usuarios finales de esta aplicación, se puede decir que disponer de información ordenada y organizada de las citas médicas así como también contar con las historias clinicas de sus pacientes en sus teléfonos ha sido de gran beneficio por la disponibilidad de los datos, la facilidad de acceder y registrar los mismos, tomando en cuenta que se puede realizar en cualquier momento y desde cualquier lugar. Por último cabe mencionar que el uso de este tipo de aplicaciones se ha generalizado de tal manera que todo el mundo las utilizan desde niños con juegos hasta personas adultas como medio de comunicación y trabajo. Summary The advance of technology over mobile device is leaps and bounds, this has resulted in applications that can have on a smartphone are of excellent performance and provide a large number of possibilities, the diversity of these applications is a wide from simple applications like a puzzle to complex applications for handing industrial machinery. The work of health professionals also requires systems that help to record information, so it has been necessary to create an application for mobile device on the Android platform, to facilitate the tasks allowing the doctor to take the patient information on your smartphone. Based on the experiences of doctors condominio hospital Millennium who are the end users if this application can be said to handle the administration of the appointments as well as have the medical records of their patients on their phones it has been of great benefit by data availability, ease of access and register them, taking into account that can be done anytime and anywhere. Finally it should be mentioned that the use of these applications is widespread so that everyone uses them from children with games to adults who use them as a means of communication.
