Carrera de Telecomunicaciones, 2024-08) Cóndor Laica, Jhonny Ariel; Pallo Noroña, Juan PabloFiber optic networks in Ecuador have expanded on a large scale in several sectors of the country for which it is necessary that the equipment and tools used for their implementation are in optimal condition. The present work aims to create a new area of work and income for the company that imports material and equipment of fiber optic, for this the importance of the equipment of measurement and tools within the networks FTTH / GPON is analyzed, as is the OTDR, optical power meter, fusing machine and cutter must be in optimal condition to acquire correct measurement data as ideal results for fiber optic networks. The infrastructure and processes of testing and calibration is carried out based on the ISO / IEC 17025 standard, the storage of traceability data and customer registration is an important parameter of the regulations for its compliance was developed the application for the registration of customers in PowerApps, it has a login for the access of the exclusive staff of the laboratory. A general process for fiber optic equipment is raised with different activities and traceability data for each measuring equipment, fused machine and cutter, for each one a calibration certificate is issued with its respective report endorsing its correct operation, when implementing the laboratory, the investment and the benefits that will be obtained are analyzed.Item Plan de mantenimiento para la maquinaria crítica de Curtiduría Tungurahua S.A. basado en la Filosofía TPM(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2024-02) Constante Sánchez, Sergio David; Tigre Ortega, Franklin GeovannyThe study presented is oriented to elaborate a maintenance plan for the critical equipment of the company Curtiduría Tungurahua S.A. by means of continuous improvement tools such as the TPM philosophy, due to the urgency of optimizing and maximizing the productive availability of the essential machinery installed in the plant. The starting point of the research is a deep analysis of the maintenance management through surveys and maintenance audits to better highlight the opportunities for improvement in the deficiencies found in each area of the department in question such as tooling policies, labeling and blocking systems, investigation of failures and breakdowns, among others described throughout the document. Subsequently, 9,6 % critical equipments were identified out of a total of 52 installed in the company, taking into account frequency and consequence factors; allowing to focus and prioritize the improvement and action efforts on these equipments for the elaboration of a maintenance plan based on failure modes and effects (FMEA). This modal analysis allows reducing a total of 83 shutdowns per year, which translates into approximately 8460 more minutes available for productive activities in the equipment established as critical which represents a reduction in inactivity of 18%.Item Plan de mantenimiento preventivo para la maquinaria pesada y vehículos livianos del gobierno autónomo descentralizado municipal del cantón San Cristóbal de Patate(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Industrial, 2023-03) Centeno Guevara, Darío Javier; Urrutia, FernandoThe present research work has been developed taking into consideration the needs of the public institution GADM Patate, focusing on heavy machinery and light vehicles of the automotive park of the institution, in order to provide a practical tool for the performance of maintenance activities within the mechanical workshop that allows to improve the availability of equipment for the development of field work of both heavy machinery and light vehicles and therefore also extend the useful life of the same. As a starting point of the research project, once the data processing of the history of the mechanical workshop of each machinery and light vehicle has been carried out, the calculation of maintenance indicators such as the average time between failures, average repair time, failure rate, stop rate and availability has been carried out, which as a starting point allows to know the current status of each unit of heavy machinery and light vehicle of the GADM Patate automotive park. To determine which mechanical components are more likely to suffer failures or damage, the modal analysis of failures and effects (AMFE) has been carried out, endorsed by the NTP 679, which indicates within its content the guidelines for the application of this methodology in equipment. The critical components have been characterized by calculating the risk priority index, the norm mentions that the components assigned with a rating greater than 100 will be considered critical and intervention or prevention actions must be taken. The maintenance plan is made up of a maintenance log where the preventive maintenance activities are detailed considering the critical and main components that make up the heavy machinery and light vehicles, within the maintenance log the machine, systems, components, maintenance activities, frequency in which the activities should be carried out are also detailed. In this way, maintenance tasks have been scheduled for one year of operation, all this in order to improve availability and keep machinery and vehicles in good conditionItem Estudio de tiempos y movimientos de los procesos de mantenimiento de las casetas en el taller de guías y montajes de los trenes 1 y 2 de la empresa Novacero S.A. planta Lasso(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2022-09) Cañar Robalino, Pablo Alejandro; López Arboleda, Jessica PaolaThe following research project deals with the study of times and movements in the maintenance processes of the rolling stands in the guide and assembly workshop of production trains 1 and 2 of the company NOVACERO S.A. Lasso plant in order to standardize processes, reduce times and movements, in addition to seeking improvement situations in maintenance activities; the problem lies in the fact that the maintenance processes are not completely documented and in the non-existence of records of the execution times of the activities. This makes it difficult to plan maintenance stops for production trains, as well as reducing the chances of discovering opportunities for improvement in the work method, transfers or plant layout. Through a study of times and movements, using the Westinghouse system for the assessment of the pace of work and the allocation of supplements according to the International Labor Organization (ILO), a plant distribution is proposed for the workshop of guides and assemblies through the SLP method through which to optimize times and distances in the execution of the maintenance processes of rolling stands. The result was a 2.62% reduction in the execution time of the maintenance process and a 65.56% reduction in the total distance traveled within the workshop. Changed the distribution type from a fixed and process layout in the current distribution to a line process layout in the proposed distribution. In addition, a manual of processes and procedures aimed at standardizing the maintenance processes of rolling booths was generated with the purpose of guiding the operators in the execution of maintenance tasks.
