Item Gestión de inventarios para la optimización de recursos en una empresa comercializadora de material eléctrico(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Producción y Operaciones Industriales, 2023) Galarza Chacón, Carlos Alberto; López Arboleda, Jéssica PaolaEn el presente trabajo de investigación se estableció un sistema de gestión de inventarios basado en políticas de revisión de existencias para la empresa MATELEC ELECTRICIDAD S. A. para lo cual, mediante fichas de observación se identificaron las falencias que conllevan a un incorrecto manejo del inventario, siendo los factores más críticos: la falta de personal encargado de la gestión de bodegas, lo cual genera deficiencias en el manejo de los inventarios y la inexistencia de un modelo de gestión, además se levantaron los procesos de compra, almacenamiento y venta a clientes, donde se evidenció la falta de asignación de roles y responsabilidades dentro de cada puesto de trabajo, en base a esto se planteó el uso de la política de revisión periódica con demanda variable, manteniendo el periodo de reabastecimiento manejado por la empresa y proveedores y se aplicó a 55 familias de productos, las mismas que contaban con un historial de ventas de 3 años, como punto de partida, mediante un análisis ABC se determinó que 8 familias de productos que generan el 80,22% de la rentabilidad de la empresa, de estos productos se analizó la normalidad de los datos de un histórico de ventas de un periodo de 36 meses, mediante la prueba gráfica de Ryan-Joiner en el software Minitab se determinó que los datos de ventas se ajustan a una distribución normal con un p-valor >0,1. Comprobada la normalidad de la información se estableció la política de revisión con la cual se logró un ahorro de $ 813,72 anuales en la mantención del inventario de ciclo y de seguridad a comparación con el método actual. Se definieron los indicadores logísticos de gestión de inventarios, donde se muestra la rotación del inventario, el valor económico y el nivel de servicio, con el fin de no generar un exceso de stock en bodega con un nivel de servicio propuesto del 95%. En cuanto a los proveedores, se tuvo un total de 13, de los cuales todos superan la calificación de 6/10 y serán considerados para suministrar a la empresa. Se establecieron los procesos de revisión de stock, generación de orden de compra y almacenamiento, definiendo los responsables de cada actividad, para la gestión de bodega se propone la aplicación de las 5 “S” para el orden y mantenimiento de bodega según una distribución lógica de los artículos tras conocer las familias de clase A, B y C y su rotación.Item Estudio de tiempos y de movimientos para el mejoramiento del proceso de producción en la empresa “Cndetalles y Colores Lavandería”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2023-09) Gavilánes Guamán, Karla Gabriela; Guachimbosa Villalba, Víctor HugoIn this research project, first of all, a general description of the company is made, continuing with the selection of the service with the best offer by means of an ABC analysis based on the production history of the production department; in addition, the state of the current situation of the production process is presented by means of work tools such as: process maps, work study diagrams and layour of the company that allow understanding the production flow and the areas susceptible to improvement. The methodology for the study of times and movements used starts with the selection of the case study, followed by the calculation of the number of observations based on the General Electric criteria, continuing with the evaluation of the work rhythm with the Westinghouse system and the allocation of supplements according to the International Labour Organisation (ILO), to conclude with the calculation of standard time. Subsequently, we proceed to calculate the production capacity in order to identify the bottleneck, which restricts the production flow, establishing the stone process as one of the main processes to be improved for stone services with 3 handicrafts. The improvement proposal as a first point contemplates determining the standard times that will facilitate production planning and as a second point the elaboration of a procedures manual with the aim of instructing the operators of the appropriate working method for the standardisation of their activities.Item Estudio de tiempos y movimientos para la línea de producción de la empresa de lácteos “Monte Verde”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. A study of times and movements was carried out in order to standardize them. to improve the production line. The current situation of the company is known through direct observation techniques, unstructured interviews with the process staff. From the initial situation, an ABC analysis is performed with the aim of knowing the product in greatest demand; obtaining as a result the Milan whole milk of 1 L. I use analytical cursograms, tables and Microsoft Office tools to organize the information. For the time taking, continuous timing was used, the performance factor was determined and supplements for the calculation of the standard time. The bottleneck and the absence of standardized times were identified. Finally, through the balancing of lines. the standard times of each subprocess were balanced and the activities that do not add value were suppressed and /or combined. obtaining an improvement in the times of 2.66%, the number of workstations is reduced from four to three, considering the same number of operators and increasing the production capacity in 2 batches/ daily. Obtaining an efficiency of 84.76% in the proposed method. The current situation of the company is known through direct observation and unstructured interviews with the manager and the operator in charge of the production area. From the initial diagnosis of the company, the ABC analysis is performed to select the product of greatest demand using the sales history, identifying mozzarella cheese as the product of greatest consumption to carry out the study. To obtain the necessary data for the development of the project, time measurements were made by timing, taking into account the activities and movements performed by the operator in each subprocess; the information obtained is organized by means of flowcharts, analytical cursograms and tables. During the development of the project, the bottleneck and the absence of standardized processes were identified. Finally, the standard times of each subprocess are determined and activities that do not generate value were eliminated or combined, obtaining an improvement in time of 4.08% and from this the line balance is carried out to balance the workloads and that the process flows continuously; additional the manual of procedures for the production of mozzarella cheese was developed to guide the workers in the development of their activities and therefore improve the productivity of the company.Item Gestión por procesos en la línea de producción de yogurt de la empresa PROALPI MILAC(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Research development exposes a process management model for the yogurt production line of PROALPI MILAC company; the main problems of this organization lie in the fact that it does not define a standardized production due to the lack of key documentation that guides the operators to develop their activities in an optimal way, giving way to raw material waste increase and other resources related to production. The objective of this study is to provide the company with a documented process support with clear, concise and orderly information, so that operations can be performed in a systematic way; For this purpose, it was started by analyzing the current situation of the production line through a survey of information to identify the processes that are carried out for the yogurt manufacture, jointly with the process map of the company in order to have a concrete and global vision of all the processes of the organization, thus establishing mechanisms such as manuals, procedures, records and guides to better describe necessary tasks for yogurt production to improve the operators performance. For this reason, it is proposed to prepare a procedures manual for the yogurt production line to organize and structure the documented information of the organization; this document will also serve as a primary element of consultation, training and induction of workers.Item Gestión de procesos en el área de producción de la empresa textil Edy Sánchez Sport(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2022-07) Vásquez Reyes, Jonathan Andrés; López Arboleda, Jessica PaolaThe present investigation project is intended to manage the processes in the production area in order to improve the work performance in the textile company EDY SANCHEZ SPORT, because the main problem it presents has to do with the fact that its workers perform activities without an adequate standard, therefore the objective pursued is to facilitate in a clear and orderly manner the documented information, being this a measure that allows to standardize the activities of the company, adding value and continuous improvement to meet the requirements of customers. With the application of the bibliographic research the knowledge for the management by processes was determined and established, also with a field research the current situation was analyzed with the survey of the processes resulting in necessary information for the elaboration of the manuals of procedures for the correct realization of the processes for the elaboration of the product sweater of the Educational Unit La Inmaculada of the sports line that allows the company to know and improve the procedures from the selection of the raw material to the storage of the products for its commercialization, satisfying the demands of its clients. Therefore, it is proposed to develop a procedures manual so that there is an order of documented and structured information with responsibilities, inputs, outputs and resources used, as well as indicators to measure the performance of the processes of the company, and also serve as a tool for consultation, guidance, training and initiation of staff.Item Teoría de restricciones para el mejoramiento de la capacidad de producción en la empresa Edy Sánchez Sport(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2022-01) Sánchez Zapata, Ana Mercedes; Tigre Ortega, Franklin GeovannyThis research project deals with the development of the Theory of Restrictions for the improvement of the productive capacity within the textile company Edy Sánchez Sport, by identifying the operational problems of the organization through a time study and thus being able to apply the DBR algorithm to achieve the mentioned improvement. In the first place, work will be carried out jointly with the company that will provide the corresponding information on the inventories and sales records of the products offered in the sports line, and in this way determine the current situation of the textile company Edy Sánchez Sport. Subsequently, with the help of the sales history, the ABC analysis is carried out, where 24 products represent 80% of the total sales in the company and the product with the highest demand corresponds to the size 36 sports sweater of the Santo Domingo Educational Unit. Guzman. Next, the description of the existing machinery within the production process will be carried out and then the process survey (cutting, preparation, packaging) will be carried out by means of the flowchart and the different activities that intervene in the production areas are described. Next, a time study is carried out for each production process based on General Electric's criteria and, based on the data obtained, the analytical flow chart is drawn up. Then we proceed with the application of the DBR algorithm derived from TOC. Through the simulation in FlexSim, an improvement percentage of 86.48% is achieved within the cutting process, increasing the production capacity to 109.26 units per hour, while in the manufacturing process the improvement is 58.29% and in the packaging no improvement was obtained. In the current and proposed process, the effective transfer rate is $9.00 and operating expenses are reduced from $4.15 to $3.94 per unit, or a 5.03% reduction per unit. product, which is verified in the financial indicator, where the net profit of the process increased by 4.30% per product with the proposed model.
