    Gestión de residuos sólidos en el área de producción de la empresa de calzado Wonderland

    The lack of an adequate solid waste management system in the footwear industry has a significant environmental impact. Currently, much of the waste generated in this industry is disposed of as common garbage, which causes problems of landfill saturation, contamination, and health risks. For this reason, the objective of the degree project “Solid waste management in the production area of the Wonderland footwear company” is to analyze solid waste management in this area. During a period of two months, the production of waste in Wonderland's facilities was analyzed through the collection of data provided by seven workers. The results reveal that approximately 86,179 kg were generated in eight weeks in the solid waste production area, among which leather scraps stand out as the main contaminant, representing 43.9% of the total. Other waste identified included cardboard (16.2%), fabric and polyethylene lining (10.8%), interlining (6.7%) and rubber sole particles (5.2%). This finding demonstrates the importance of focusing on waste reduction to achieve significant improvement in waste management. In conclusion, it is important to implement a comprehensive management program that includes a classification system, monitoring, personnel training, and verification of compliance with current national environmental regulations based on the Unified Environmental Information System (SUIA) and the Ministry of the Environment, which are referenced with standards such as INEN 2266, Ministerial Agreement 142 and Ministerial Agreement 061, among others, as well as international standards such as ISO 14001, to reduce environmental impact and optimize processes, avoiding future financial penalties or partial or total closure of the company

    The importance of technical assistance systems in financial institutions is fundamental to optimize the quality of services and user experience. Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Rhumy Wara within its institutional and technological growth plan has generated challenges that require attention and resolution by IT staff. To address these incident management problems, we propose the elimination of inefficient processes and the use of free software as an effective and sustainable solution. This project addresses the problem of incident management, considering that institutional growth has increased the frequency of technical problems. The absence of an efficient system to register and follow up on incidents limits their timely resolution, affecting the operational continuity of the organization. These problems have been solved with the application of the Lean methodology through its 6 phases, aligned with the cooperative's standards, which contributed significantly to improving incident management processes. This methodology made it possible to identify failures, eliminate waste and dispense with unnecessary elements, adjusting each phase to the specific needs of the institution. The implementation of GLPI (Gestionnaire Libre de Parc Informatique) is carried out using free software, an alternative that optimizes costs and is an effective and viable solution for both small and large institutions. The application is deployed on an AlmaLinux server, virtualized through Hyper-V, guaranteeing the security and integrity of the information. This tool will provide the institution's users with an official channel to register and manage their incidents, thus improving communication and the resolution of technical problems.

    Sistema de gestión de inventarios en la empresa Casa Yoly Multifabritex de la ciudad de Riobamba.

    The medium and small-scale enterprises currently face constant changes, influenced by both internal and external factors, which can hinder their progress. CASA YOLY multifabritex is among these enterprises, lacking methodologies aimed at enhancing processes and work areas. Moreover, there hasn't been a promotion of changes in the organizational culture or staff commitment to maintain and care for work areas, equipment, or materials. In this research project, after analyzing the current company situation using methodological tools, the need arose to propose three methodologies aimed at improving the efficiency of warehouse operations. The first methodology involved ABC Classification, enabling the company to identify its most crucial products from a wide range. This methodology allows for a higher concentration of efforts on the most vital products while providing a more relaxed management for less impactful items. The second methodology considered the implementation of an inventory management model to reduce costs and deliver more efficient operations. Leveraging the earlier ABC classification, the Quantity Economic to Produce (POQ) model was applied to Category A elements to determine the quantity to manufacture and minimize storage and preparation costs. Categories B and C were allocated the total requested products at the start of the production stage. By comparing total costs between the traditional and proposed models, a saving of $338.58 was achieved, showcasing the efficiency of the methodology when implemented. Lastly, there was a need to propose a 5“S” Warehouse Manual for the company, aimed at establishing and maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient environment.

    Gestión de residuos sólidos en la empresa I.M.ESCO.

    La presente investigación se centró en la gestión de residuos sólidos en el área de producción de la empresa I.M.ESCO, la cual se especializa en la fabricación de equipos de transporte pesado, tales como volquetas, buses, remolques, semirremolques y equipos de construcción, como carretillas. Dada su naturaleza comercial, la empresa genera diversos tipos de residuos, entre ellos recortes de metal, fibra de vidrio, partículas de metal, cartón, plástico, virutas metálicas, escoria de soldadura, material de lleno, lijas, remaches, cables, conexiones, guaipe, envases y recipientes de productos químicos. Se llevó a cabo una recopilación de información interna con el objetivo de comprender la situación actual del manejo de residuos en la empresa, considerando su actividad principal de fabricación de carrocerías pesadas. El análisis incluyó la evaluación de riesgos laborales, lo que condujo a la elaboración de un manual de gestión de residuos sólidos. La evaluación de riesgos laborales, basada en el código CRETIB y la guía técnica colombiana GTC-45, proporcionó una comprensión integral de los peligros asociados al área de producción. Este manual ofrece pautas detalladas y medidas prácticas para reducir la generación de residuos y asegurar su disposición final de manera adecuada. Al incorporar estrategias proactivas, se busca no solo minimizar la cantidad de residuos sino también prevenir impactos adversos en la salud y seguridad de los trabajadores. Este manual también proporciona directrices para evitar cualquier impacto perjudicial en la salud y seguridad de los trabajadores.

    Sistema de Gestión de Calidad basado en la norma ISO 9001:2015 para la industria panificadora

    Desarrollar un sistema de gestión de calidad (SGC) constituye una ventaja competitiva para las empresas ya que permite que sus productos y servicios cumplan con los máximos estándares, logrando mantener la satisfacción de sus clientes y su permanencia en el mercado. Es por esto que, se ha establecido diseñar un SGC basado en la norma ISO 9001:2015 para la Panadería y Pastelería “El Almendro”, la cual evidencia procesos deficientes debido a la falta de organización de la misma. La investigación se caracteriza por ser exploratoria, descriptiva y aplicada. Para ello, se diagnosticó la situación actual de la empresa mediante la entrevista al propietario, con la información obtenida se realizó el análisis FODA y se levantó el mapa de procesos de la empresa. Así mismo, se determinó las brechas en el nivel de cumplimiento de los requisitos de la norma, en donde se encontró que la empresa tiene un nivel de cumplimiento general de 8.10%, el menor cumplimiento fue con los requisitos de Evaluación de desempeño con 4.17%. Finalmente, se elaboró la documentación requerida para establecer el SGC en donde consta el manual de calidad, los procedimientos necesarios para llevar a cabo las actividades de la empresa, los instructivos de uso de la maquinaria y los formatos para los registros pertinentes del SGC.

    Sistema de gestión de calidad en base a la Norma ISO 9001:2015 para la empresa “Curtiduría Hidalgo”

    This study is based on the research carried out to design a proposal for a quality management system for the company "Curtiduría Hidalgo" based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The main objective of this system implemented in the company was customer satisfaction through an improvement in processes and methods. In the first instance, the problem faced by the company in relation to the low efficiency of its management system is raised, framing shortcomings in its productive and administrative processes by not having clear and documented procedures, in the same way the objectives of the project are outlined, including the theoretical foundation and research background to support the proposal. The methodology used to solve the problem was then detailed, described the research techniques to be used which were mainly based on interviews with the manager and direct observation in order to obtain the clearest information to the current reality of the company; also defined the population and sample for data collection and detailed how the information will be processed and analyzed. Based on the gathered information, the analysis and interpretation of the results obtained through the research techniques are presented. The current situation of the company is described, followed by the use of a verification matrix to determine the degree of compliance with the requirements stipulated in the ISO 9001:2015 standard thus establishing non-compliances with the requirements found which will eventually create the manual of the quality management system in which guidelines such as documents, records, matrices, methodologies are established, formats and procedures focused on fulfilling the requirements of the standard.

    Sistema de gestión por procesos en la empresa de calzado KF Barona

    This research project is to standardise the production processes used in the manufacture of footwear in the company KF Barona, for which it was essential to analyse the current state of the company through a survey of information on the processes in which footwear manufacturing procedures, production time and time standards are exhibited, in order to have a global vision, diagrams and a process map were drawn up. With the information gathered through the collection of information by means of time analysis and the valuation of activities that add value, procedure manuals were drawn up for each production area. These documents contain complete, detailed and concise information on the procedures or steps to be followed at each stage of footwear manufacture with the respective persons responsible for each activity. An analysis of the activities that add value was applied, determining which of them are necessary and which are not, establishing criteria for improvement through the elimination, combination or reduction of activities, establishing new standard times for the execution of activities. A strategic plan is developed, which proposes two plans for supporting and improving production, the first is the training plan for incorporating new working methods based on simplification of tasks and production times, optimisation of the work processes, and the creation of a new production process.

    Sistema web para la gestión de la pensión diferenciada en la Unidad Educativa González Suárez

    El objetivo de esta investigación es automatizar y optimizar los procesos para la gestión de la pensión diferenciada en la Unidad Educativa “González Suárez”, a través de la implementación de una aplicación web. El desarrollo de la propuesta muestra los resultados de la investigación realizada durante la etapa de recolección de requerimientos y análisis de la información. La importancia de este proyecto radica en que permite que los estudiantes que han obtenido una beca paguen sus pensiones en forma proporcional a las posibilidades económicas de sus familiares, cumpliendo así con el artículo 134.- Becas del reglamento general a la Ley Orgánica de Educación Intercultural (LOEI). Por lo tanto este proyecto reúne lo necesario para colaborar en una mejor gestión de las tareas que actualmente se realizan de forma manual, permite reducir el tiempo de duración de los procesos administrativos relacionados a la asignación de becas y así brindar una mejor atención a los representantes de los estudiantes del plantel.
