Item Diseño de un sistema de gestión técnica de seguridad ocupacional en la escuela de operadores de maquinaria pesada Somec Napo(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2025-02) Baño Tapuy Mishel Sarai; Jordán Hidalgo Edisson PatricioThe present research work aims to provide SOMEC Napo School with a technical management of occupational health and safety, for which a qualitative-quantitative approach is applied that addresses the perception and experience of workers to analyse the current situation of the institution; likewise, during the visits, the risks present are identified and their estimation is carried out using the INSHT general risk assessment guide. The risks classified as important and intolerant were measured following applicable internationally accepted standards: lighting with NOM-025-STPS-2008, noise with NTE INEN-ISO 9612 and the ISTAS 21 questionnaire for psychosocial risk. The results indicate that the instructors are exposed to non-ionising radiation (ultraviolet rays), noise that in some cases exceeds 85 dB, collisions with immobile objects and falls to different levels; on the other hand, the administrative staff are exposed to: stress, tension, mental fatigue and noise levels above 70 dB for offices; finally, teachers work under inadequate lighting, with values below the 300 lux required for classrooms, as well as facing stress, tension and mental fatigue in carrying out their activities. Finally, the importance of establishing control measures to mitigate the physical, psychological and mechanical risks identified is concluded. These proposals are socialised with the director of the institution who evaluates their feasibility and commits to their future implementation, guaranteeing a safe and healthy working environment.Item Gestión técnica de seguridad industrial en la Mecánica Industrial DICO-VAL para la prevención de riesgos(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2023-03) García Manobanda, Juan José; Jordán Hidalgo, Edisson PatricioThe industrial mechanics “DICO-VAL", specialized in the recovery of industrial and automotive parts, does not have documentation related to industrial safety such as plans, requirements and technical reports regarding different risk factors that allow the organization to identify, evaluate, control, eliminate and reduce accidents or damages that put the physical integrity of its workers at stake. This is also added to the total ignorance on the part of the operators of the good practices at work, making them execute their tasks in an empirical way completely ignoring the possible dangers that could materialize. For the present project several tools were used in order to find the main problem of the company, among these we have: direct observation, interview to the manager of the mechanics and a list of questions applied to the workers, with all this it is established that the main problem are the mechanical risks Through the research work, the development of industrial safety technical management was proposed as a solution to the problem, following as a guide the Ecuador Model of Industrial Safety Audits which served as the basis for the development of the entire project. It was established that the most critical risks within the production area of mechanics are mechanics with high and notable levels in the processes of welding, lathe machining and milling machine machining. At the same time, there was an absence of: signage, prevention plans, training and documented evidence regarding the surveillance of workers' health.Item Sistema de gestión técnica de seguridad industrial para la prevención de accidentes laborales en la empresa Multirepcar(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2022-09) Naranjo Romero, Christian Alberto; Gavidia García, José LuisThis research work was carried out at the facilities of Multirepcar, a company dedicated to the repair of light and heavy vehicles, distribution of lubricating oils and marketing of spare parts in the central zone of Ecuador. The problems in the company are due to the presence of risks that influence the generation of accidents and occupational diseases, so the objective is the development of a technical management system of industrial safety for the prevention of occupational accidents. The technical management included four main stages. In the first stage concerning the identification of risk factors, hazard identification sheets were used for each work station, systematizing the most relevant information for the study, identifying thirty sources. In stage two, regarding the evaluation and assessment, the binary method was used for an initial estimation of the risk factors, with 53% of the risks of mechanical type prevailing, which were assessed with the William T. Fine methodology, then for the physical risk due to noise, a sound level meter measurement was performed based on the strategy of the work position (function) according to the UNE-EN-ISO 9612 standard, obtaining noise levels that are not high risk, then the ergonomic risk due to forced postures was evaluated with the REBA method, obtaining a medium and high risk level, and finally for the risk of major fire accident the MESERI method was applied, determining a very slight risk due to the existing fire control systems in the company. Therefore, it is concluded that there is a need to implement controls mainly for mechanical and ergonomic risk factors, for which certain control and improvement measures were established for the different risks detected, focused on minimizing possible accidents in the company.
