Item Sistema de gestión por procesos sostenible en el área de producción en la empresa Milplast Cia. Ltda.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Ltda., a company dedicated to the production of shoe soles that faced problems affecting its productivity, such as non-standardized processes, inefficient management of information and inventories, and non-optimized production times. The lack of mixing recipes and machine configuration parameters caused quality variability and downtime, and inadequate waste management and performance indicators hindered continuous improvement. The objective was to develop a process management model to improve Milplast's productivity, integrating circular economy principles. An ABC stratification of products was carried out to identify the most relevant products, the documentation of the main processes (milling, fine-tuning, injection, packaging), the creation of detailed sheets for each process. A time study was also carried out and waste was characterized for final disposal. Qualitative and quantitative methods were used to obtain a comprehensive understanding. Interviews and observations were conducted to document the processes, and data analysis was performed to understand the company's performance. In addition, a literature review on process management, field research with visits and on-floor observation of the process were conducted. The results were consolidated into a process manual with clear objectives, precise definitions and detailed flow charts. Improvements such as the implementation of a Kardex system, recipe standardization and machine configuration were proposed, which could increase production by 5% and facilitate Milplast's sustainable growth.Item Modelo de gestión del riesgo operacional para la mejora de la eficiencia en la industria de lavado de textiles(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Maestría en Producción y Operaciones Industriales, 2022) Pazmiño Vargas, Alex Daniel; Ortiz Guerrero, Daysi MargaritaThe research project focused on the design of an operational risk management model applying techniques and tools with the aim of improving the efficiency of operational processes. The main defects that affect the organization are the lack of standardization and the lack of controls and indicators that allow determining the productivity and efficiency of the production process, these defects have negative consequences such as inadequate production management, greater variability in the results obtained which causes a significant impact on the quality of the product; in addition, they generate a certain degree of ignorance of the functions and responsibilities of the staff due to the lack of documented information and prevent compliance with deadlines for delivery of production orders to customers. Consequently, an analysis of the current situation of Equatintex company has been carried out identifying all the processes of the organization to later classify them based on their role and their hierarchical level to prepare the process map; additionally, an ABC diagram was made in order to identify the service that represents the greater amount of economic income; on the other hand, process sheets were prepared to determine the elements and various factors involved in the production chain. The time study was carried out in order o initiate the standardization process in the organization through the selection of the qualified operator, the performance rating applying the Westinghouse system, the calculation of the normal time, the determination of the supplements and the establishment of the standard time. Next, the design of an operational risk management model was carried out based on the ISO:31000 2018 Risk management - guidelines standard; which contemplates the selection of critical processes with a multicriteria matrix, identification, analysis and assessment of operational risks through checklists and the application of the failure modes and effects analysis methodology (AMFE) with which improvement actions were proposed to the failures with the highest risk priority index (RPI). Finally, the treatment of the identified risks is proposed through the analysis of the cycle time, realization of man-machine diagrams, creation of procedures and work instructions, formulation of indicators, development of maintenance plans for each machine, proposals for automation of the systems; lastly, the flowcharts were modeled in the Bizagi Modeler software in order to balance the production lines and improve the efficiency of the organization.Item Sistema de producción Kanban en la empresa de calzado Producalza(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en procesos de Automatización, 2017) Moposita Centeno, Carlos Alberto; Rosero Mantilla, César AníbalLa empresa de calzado PRODUCALZA objeto de estudio, dentro de su línea de producción no posee un control de la producción eficiente, puesto a que es muy difícil determinar el lugar en el que se encuentra procesando el producto. Para lograr dar solución a dicho problema, se aplica el estudio de métodos del trabajo, se realiza un estudio de tiempos el cual ayudo a determinar los tiempos estándares para la ejecución de cada operación presente en el proceso, los mismos que son necesarios para posteriormente realizar un balance de líneas, donde se establece estaciones mínimas de trabajo con una carga de trabajo similar, con el afán de agilizar la línea. Partiendo de esto se desarrolla una propuesta de implementación del sistema Kanban como herramienta Lean de control visual de la producción, con el propósito de mejorar la comunicación entre procesos, logrando conseguir productos de mejor calidad que satisfagan las necesidades del cliente, minimizando el tiempo de entrega. Obteniendo como resultados satisfactorios para la empresa una eliminación de despilfarros en ciertos puestos de trabajo, se consigue formar estaciones de trabajo con cargas de trabajo similares, a su vez se reduce la mano de obra necesaria para satisfacer la demanda diaria, dichos resultados se tiene antes de aplicar Kanban, puesto que al aplicarse se logra poseer un sistema de control visual mucho más ágil, el cual permite controlar la producción generando una entrega oportuna del producto al cliente. Por lo tanto Kanban se puede decir que es una herramienta que al aplicar cambios sencillos que no generan costos elevados, se logra conseguir resultados sumamente satisfactorios para la empresa, siendo cada vez más eficiente.
