Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2023-03) Peña Simba, Joel Alejandro; Morales Perrazo, Luis AlbertoProductivity in textile companies is directly influenced by human resource, which in turn is affected by working conditions in which they work, some of these conditions are the postures; therefore, this investigation objective is to relate postural risks with performance work level for operators at RIE company manufacturing area. The work was part of an applied investigation on a 22 operators population at manufacturing area, through a postural analysis with Rapid Upper Limb Assessment "RULA" method; While the work performance was analyzed through a study of times with timing back to zero, performance factor based on the Westinghouse system and supplements according to the recommended by OIT. Postural analysis results determined that 45.45% (10 workers) have a high risk level due to poor job design of the job and postural vices. Time study determined that the production capacity efficiency is not as expected, that is, less than 100%. Spearman's non-parametric test determined an inverse relationship level (-0,767) between the work performance and the positions adopted by the workers in their activities development, with a value of 0.010. Finally, it is concluded that work performance decreases as the level of postural risk increases; therefore, the investigated company must redesign its jobs. Carrera de Industrial, 2023-03) Saransig Tontaquimba, Christian Javier; Larrea Bustos, Anita LuciaWorkers in the Ambato wholesale market are exposed to different types of risks in the work performed in the development of their activities, especially those that require manual handling of loads. The most common risks and of particular interest are ergonomic, this is due to lifting, transporting, pushing and pulling loads manually, repetitive movements, application of force, postures and forced movements; all these factors cause different disorders in the health of workers. Therefore, the focus of the research study is the calculation of the cost-benefit of a system of ergonomic risk prevention in stevedores of the Public Company - Municipal Company Wholesale Market Ambato, to avoid muscular injuries in the future. Using the technique of direct observation and the new Ergonomics document ISO TR 12295:2014, ergonomic risks were identified in the workstations of warehouse D (tender grains). Subsequently, three stevedores, one for each task, were evaluated using the RULA method, which showed that 100% of the workers urgently needed a change in their tasks. The cost of a prevention proposal was calculated using diffusion instruments and compared with the cost of medical treatment for a longshoreman with musculoskeletal disorders. As a proposed solution, a matrix was developed with ergonomic recommendations based on international standards that seek the comfort of workers in the manual handling of loads. In addition, didactic tools were developed: informative posters, triptych and safe procedure sheets to inform dockworkers about the prevention of musculoskeletal injuries and disordersItem Evaluación de riesgos ergonómicos asociados a la confección de jeans en la empresa textil Xavis Jean’s(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2022-09) Castro Córdova, Diego Israel; Mariño Rivera, Christian JoséThe objective of this research project was to evaluate the ergonomic risks related to the jeans manufacturing process in the textile company Xavis Jean's, with the purpose of obtaining a current vision of the incidence of this type of risks in the organization, In order to obtain a current view of the incidence of this type of risks in the organization, so that they can be detected in a timely way and also act based on the level of risk obtained through the evaluation, for this information was obtained from each of the jobs as the tasks and times in which they perform them through cursograms and profesiograms, an initial assessment of the symptoms associated with the risks of study was applied by means of the Nordic questionnaire, Subsequently, an identification of the hazards to which people are exposed in each of the positions was carried out by means of the Colombian Technical Guide (Matrix GTC 45), an initial evaluation was developed to determine the level of ergonomic risk, carried out by means of the BRIEF/BEST questionnaire whose results influenced the performance of a more specific evaluation to determine the level of ergonomic risk associated with forced postures and repetitive movements by methods such as RULA, REBA and OCRA Check List, providing reliability and confidence to the research and the results obtained. The results revealed the presence of MSD in arms and forearms, being more perceptible mostly in the back, neck and wrists; the findings suggested that none of the postures are acceptable and that there is a prevalence of repetitive movements. Through the research it was possible to conclude that 100% of the positions present risks for which preventive measures should be taken in the work environment and work method, and also that 89% require urgent intervention. Maestría en Seguridad e Higiene Industrial y Ambiental, 2019) Cujilema Cujilema, Ricardo Javier; Cabrera Acosta, Andrés GonzaloEXCECUTIVE SUMARY The present work is carried out in the facilities of District Directorate 23D01-Salud of Santo Domingo, the study of the sub-standard conditions in the work posts, based on Executive Decree 2393 together with the Technical Safety Prevention Notes and Hygiene in the Work of Spain to identify the nonconformities in which the administrative personnel work. The postural load is evaluated using the RULA method in the work stations, selected from the data obtained from the surveys, allowing to obtain information from the most critically affected people originated by the substandard conditions present in their jobs. The research proposal is the development of ergonomic conditioning protocols to eliminate the substandard conditions of the jobs and avoid postural loads, which allows the redesign of jobs in areas of greater criticality beginning with the anthropometric measurements of workers of men and women obtaining a better development in their work activity, due to the conditioning of their work area towards the person, later the development of ergonomic control procedures is applied with the most predominant substandard conditions found in the study, reducing the risk to suffer damages of ergonomic origin to the worker, finally carrying out a follow-up through a risk control plan that allows to periodically evaluate the jobs that are optimal.
