Currently there are various drawbacks in the psychomotor development of children, this is due to the limited stimulation they have received as a result of the pandemic, in addition to the difficulties in the child's sensory area, which makes it difficult to adapt to the environment as well as consequences in the educational field. For this reason, the objective of the research is to determine the level of psychomotor development of children from 3 to 5 years of age who attend the Huambalo type B health center to identify the criteria that allow the elaboration of sensory stimulation strategies for their application in the children population; An extensive bibliographic review is necessary to understand, understand and theoretically base the research based on the variables under study such as sensory stimulation and psychomotor development. The methodology used has a quantitative, descriptive and prospective approach, using the Denver II Test as a research tool in areas such as personal-social, fine-adaptive motor, language and large motor; in a total of 30 children aged 3, 4 and 5 years of the Health Center type B Huambalo, obtaining as results that in the social personal more than 50% in the different ages is in the doubtful alternative, as well as fine motor that at the age of 3 years is 75% in the same alternative, in the language area it is established with greater inconveniences at the age of 3 years with 58% and finally in large motor in the three ages it is between 58% and 63% at the doubtful age. Highlighting as a conclusion that in the adaptive fine motor area in most children it was observed in the dimension of doubtful, that is, the children evaluated do not develop coordinated movements, do not have adequate control in their fine movements and have difficulty in actions according to their age.

Music therapy is a support tool that is born from music and the positive changes it achieves in human beings, above all it allows the development of the areas: language and cognitive, achieving interactive communication between people, in addition, it contributes to brain plasticity in the first years of life. The objective of this research is to establish the level of language and cognitive development of 52 children from initial I and II in order to identify the criteria that allow the development of a music therapy guide. The research is descriptive and prospective since two evaluation instruments are applied: a.- "Battelle Development Inventory - Screening Test", which assesses the cognitive area, b.- "Abbreviated Development Scale - Nelson Ortiz" which assesses the language area and whose collected and analyzed results determine that there is more participation of girls than boys with a mean age of 49.59 months with a standard deviation of 5.49. 3.8% of those evaluated are in the "alert" range in language and in cognitive development, 84.6% are in the "not passed" items. In the area of language, a lower percentage of those evaluated obtained "alert" and the majority reached the "normal" level, on the contrary, in cognitive development, the majority is located in the "not exceeded" range and in the "exceeded" level. is a small number of participants; For the statistical data, the SPSS statistical system was used, using measures of central tendency and distribution. Due to the restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a post-test was not carried out, without a doubt, it is necessary to develop a music therapy guide to promote language and cognitive development.

The present research determined the level and quality of phonological awareness (CF) in children from 4 to 5 years old, establishing a relationship with demographic characteristics and their expressive language, with the aim of developing a mobile application, as specific objectives were: to characterize the study population according to sex and development (C.F); establish the frequency of the level of phonological awareness and language alertness of children from 4 to 5 years old; develop a mobile application to improve the level of C.F. The research was carried out in the "SOLMAT" clinic in the city of Ambato; the work was carried out with children aged 4 to 5 years. The population or sample was composed of 8 boys and 13 girls. The theoretical framework describes the background, in connection with the sub-themes: active listening; syllabic consciousness; phonemic awareness and the use of ICTs in childhood. In the methodology, descriptive research, prospective design, characterized the variables with their dimensions were used; the sample included 20 infants; the collection of information was carried out with the anamnesis of the clinic where demographic data are established; the Test for the Evaluation of Phonological Knowledge (P.E.C.O.) and the abbreviated scale of development of Nelson Ortiz taking the section of language and communication. It is concluded that 55% have a normal level of CF and 45% low. While 65% have normal expressive language and 35% delay; It was also evidenced that these results are correlated with age (0.48), For the results evidenced it is essential to propose the creation of a mobile application to improve the level of the C.F.

In the current educational system, there are several problems of psychomotor skills, learning, that boys and girls externalize, originating in the diffusion of sensory integration, a factor that conditions the relationship and adaptation to the environment, directly influencing academic results, for this reason this study sets the objective of establishing an intervention program for sensory dysfunctions through motor circuits in children under 5 years of age. From this perspective, it intends to collaborate in the integral development preventing future learning difficulties that, through the contents, principles and regulations, benefit in the work of psychomotor skills in search of improving the patterns of sensory processing, sensory system, coordination, motor skills and the language. Methodology, a qualitative approach was applied, in addition the Dunn Test that measures the sensory area and the Pepsi Test that measures the areas: coordination, motor skills and language, was used with a total of 30 boys and girls who attend the Center Specialized in Language and Speech Pathologies CEPALH. Results, it was evidenced that 26% presented sensory alterations, in the delay of coordination in 40%, 27% difficulties in motor skills and 57% delay in language. To relate sensory dysfunctions with psychomotor development, an intervention guide was developed with significant motor activities focused on improving the integration of sensory information received through the senses, vestibular, proprioceptive and tactile. design of an intervention guide that reduces alterations and improves their development

(Universdidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Centro de posgrados, 2021-03-01) Bosquez Sánchez, Silvana Yomar; Peñafiel Gaibor, Víctor FilibertoDr. PhD
The language problem has a high persistence over time, which is why it is considered one of the most frequent oral communication problems in children from 3 to 7 years old, affecting various areas of learning. It is because of these disorders that the present study was carried out under the theme: Use of ICT to improve articulatory language skills in children from 3 to 5 years old with dyslalias. The general objective was to describe the articulatory skills with the application of tests to children from 3 to 5 years of age with dyslalia to determine its relationship with demographic characteristics. The research was carried out at the “Hola Terapia de Lenguaje” clinic located in the “España” neighborhood in the city of Ambato. At present, the use of ICT is of great importance, it is for this reason that in this research the use of Prelingua and Visual Studio C # programs was proposed, with which the respective treatments can be carried out to solve speech problems, in children with dyslalia. The ELAr Joint Logopedic Exam was also applied. The study population was the children who attended the clinic, from which a sample of 30 children was taken, to whom the ELA-r test was applied, which showed that the articulatory ability that most occurs is substitution, in addition to children who present substitution and omission at the same time, language disorders were also determined in children. Children from 3 to 5 years of age are dyslalia, substitution, omission, inversion, distortion and addition, they are also related to demographic characteristics and their family environment. Due to the results obtained, it was proposed to carry out a Guide for the use of Tics Prelingua and Visual Studio C # programs to improve articulatory language skills in children from 3 to 5 years old with dyslalias.
