    Desarrollo e implementación de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo mediante el método TPM para el departamento de producción en la empresa carrocerías Impedsa

    This technical project was developed to implement a maintenance plan based on the total productive maintenance (TPM) methodology; to prolong the useful life of the components of the equipment and machines that are part of the production line, improving the organization of production in order to avoid unnecessary stoppages in the production lines. The information gathering was carried out, which consisted of carrying out an inventory of the machines and equipment to know the amount of equipment, the coding and the state in which they are found, then through the TPM, the “5S” was applied, selection of equipment and pilot machines for the respective maintenance aircraft; In addition, the failure modal analysis and effects matrix (FMEA) was carried out for each of the components, determining the possible failures of the equipment and the criticality analysis of the same, and with the maintenance ranges using specialized software that specializes in failure prevention activities taking into consideration the frequency and time to subsequently allow the objective of implementing the maintenance plan to be developed. As a result, the execution of an annual preventive maintenance plan was obtained with the activities that were organized for the various components, complying with the estimated times and operating frequency for one year; in addition to implementing a continuous improvement system with the TPM philosophy, involving both operators and maintenance personnel.

    The lack of preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and systems shortens their useful life, for this reason in this technical project a preventive maintenance plan was developed for the machines of the FICM Innovation and Technological Development Workshop. In the development of the technical project, the coding of each of the machines was carried out in order to identify them quickly, the technical sheets, the general characteristics, the service conditions, the list of spare parts, the drawings, diagrams, the dimensions and tolerances, the assembly instructions, the operating instructions, etc. were also carried out. The analysis of the FMEA matrices was carried out with the help of the NTP 679 Standard, analyzing the most critical elements, which are more prone to suffer failures causing unexpected interruptions in the operation of the machines, the causes of failure, functional failures and failure effects were also analyzed. Then, the criticality matrices were carried out to identify and prioritize the most critical elements of each of the machines that need improvement. Finally, the preventive maintenance plan was developed under specialized software, in which the Logs and Maintenance Ranges of each of the machines are detailed, where it will be possible to visualize and print the technical sheets, the drawings and the monthly maintenance activities, it will also be possible to record the stop and repair times of each activity generating the curve of the bathtub.

    Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo, para la maquinaria del área de trituración de materiales pétreos en la empresa Jeal Construcciones

    The company does not currently have a preventive maintenance plan, so it uses a reactive approach, in which it waits for equipment to fail before proceeding to repair it. This not only generates interruptions in the company's production, but also increases the risk of occupational accidents, reduces the useful life of the equipment and generates periods of inoperability, since the machinery used in the process of crushing stone materials is important for the company's operation. This project was developed in several steps, the first one was to make an inventory of the machines belonging to the crushing area, then the critical equipment was identified and its current status was evaluated, also technical data sheets, FMEA and statistical matrices were made where the availability of the machines could be analyzed and the criticality and identification of components susceptible to failures were determined. Different ranges of maintenance were elaborated with activity guidelines with the objective of improving the performance and useful life of the machines and their components, knowing their reliability and availability; subsequently, preventive maintenance matrices were elaborated with different activities and the periodicity with which they were carried out throughout the year. Finally, fulfilling the objectives, the maintenance plan was uploaded to a specialized software, with the objective of automating maintenance tasks and improving the efficiency and productivity of its processes and personnel.

    Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para la maquinaria pesada y vehículos livianos del GAD municipal del cantón Tiwintza de la provincia de Morona Santiago

    The Municipal GAD of the Tiwintza Canton is located in the Province of Morona Santiago, specifically in the city of Santiago de Tiwintza. This public institution has been providing service to its inhabitants for 20 years, the same one that is in charge of planning and managing state resources. through works for the benefit of their communities, thus encouraging trade, production and tourism. This technical project was carried out with the purpose of identifying the current state of the heavy machinery and light vehicles of the Municipal GAD of Tiwintza, through a preventive maintenance plan (PM), which contributes to improving availability and reducing, even avoiding breakdowns of the entire vehicle fleet. It was based on the NTP 679 guide and on a total productive maintenance (TPM) philosophy, since the public institution did not have a technical study of these characteristics. The assets were identified through technical sheets and their matrix of components with information collected in the institution's database, public procurement processes and vehicle license plates. On the other hand, the failure mode and effects analysis (AMFE) was also carried out with its respective criticality matrix, logs and maintenance ranges, through which the mechanical elements most likely to be replaced were determined with which it was sought to establish a Autonomous and planned maintenance without any setback. This preventive maintenance plan was designed to keep all road equipment in a safe, reliable and operational condition.

    Diseño de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para la empresa INGB&R PLAST en la ciudad de Ambato

    This technical project deals with the design of a preventive maintenance plan for the company INGB&R PLAST, located in the city of Ambato. Which was carried out taking into account the lack of a structured and efficient preventive maintenance system, which has led to a higher incidence of breakdowns in the company's machinery and equipment, resulting in costly downtime and production losses. In this preventive maintenance plan, the company's machinery was codified, an inventory of existing machines was carried out, and a format for the creation of technical sheets was created, the machines were classified by system, subsystem and components. The criticality analysis was carried out to prioritize the components that required immediate intervention, in the same way the AMFE matrix was carried out based on the NTP 679, obtaining the components most prone to failure, with these results the maintenance logs and ranges were made to improve the operation of machinery. Based on these results, a risk review and registry format was designed. As a result, the preventive maintenance plan was designed for each type of machinery present in the company. This plan includes a detailed schedule of maintenance activities, such as periodic inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and replacement of worn parts. In addition, safety procedures and standards were established that must be used to carry out each of the activities scheduled for the annual maintenance plan.

    Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo para la estación de bombeo de Punyaro de la empresa municipal de agua potable y alcantarillado de la ciudad de Otavalo

    Since the Punyaro Pumping Station is in operation all the time, it presents problems and therefore the flow of water is interrupted, so the purpose of this project is to reduce unexpected failures so that it is in constant operation and thus avoid causing possible interruptions over time. For this project, a preventive maintenance plan was developed where an inventory of machines and equipment was made and we proceeded to the creation of: technical data sheets, calculation of the availability of each one of them, the FMEA matrix to the main components using the NTP: 679 standard and criticality analysis obtaining the components most likely to fail; obtained this data we proceeded to the realization of logs and maintenance ranges to have an efficiency in the operation and reduce unexpected stoppages. For a better recording of maintenance data, a program was developed which will help in a quick way to record and calculate the availability of each machine, for this purpose a program operating instruction was developed.

    Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para los moldes de inyección en el área de producción de la empresa Halley Corporación C.L

    The preventive maintenance plan is fundamental for a company, because it is used to predict minor problems in machines and components before they present failures. That is why to carry out this technical project, the needs of the company "Halley Corporación CL" were taken into account, to have a preventive maintenance plan for the molds knowing how important it is to have one, this will help us to early detection of failures or damage that may occur in the molds and their components, in order to prolong their useful life and thus reduce costs. For the development of the maintenance plan, an inventory was started, where the current state of the molds is detailed, a list of components was also generated and technical sheets were made to then proceed with an analysis of failures and failure modes of the components by means of the AMFE matrix based on NTP 679, finally the Weibull mathematical and graphic model was applied according to NTP 331 to determine the reliability of the molds. Consequently, the numerical values and parameters necessary to configure detailed time intervals per month were obtained, with the help of logs and maintenance ranges where the corresponding preventive actions are carried out, to prioritize maintenance work.

    Due to the need to improve production, this project allowed the development of a plan based on the methodology of Total Productive Maintenance TPM for the company Productos Lácteos San José in the city of Píllaro, information was collected which was provided by management and staff working in the company who collaborated in the collection of technical data of the machines involved in the research. In the development of the project, a diagnosis of the current situation of the company was elaborated, then for the consolidation and development of the Total Productive Maintenance TPM were made: technical data sheets of the equipment, environmental and safety suggestions for the operators, machine weighting tables, inventory of equipment and machines, interviews for the collection of information, as well as training through information campaigns detailing the model of the plan to be implemented in the company, In addition, Excel spreadsheets of Failure Mode Analysis "FMEA", Criticality Matrix, global effectiveness analysis and ending with the elaboration of the Maintenance Ranges, a statistic according to the need of each equipment and the application of the 5 "S" within the company taking into consideration the criteria described with the participation of the personnel of each area were elaborated.

    Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para los equipos de soldadura en los procesos SMAW, GMAW, GTAW Y PAW en la empresa carrocerías Yuaysa

    The importance of this technical project lies in the development of a preventive maintenance plan for the welding equipment of the company Carrocerías YUAYSA. In this company in the production area there are four different types of welding equipment: SMAW, GMAW, GTAW and PAW, in which a high priority analysis was carried out in terms of control and maintenance. As a first point, basic information was collected from the aforementioned machines, emphasizing their technical characteristics, main components and working hours. To complement this information, an FMEA and criticality matrix was established for each piece of equipment, thus obtaining the most critical components and the pre-established activities to perform maintenance. Times were analyzed such as: mean time between failures, mean repair time, downtime, operating time, among others, thus establishing machine availability for maintenance through the calculation of a constant failure rate. Finally, maintenance ranges were developed with preventive activities previously analyzed, activities which detail the frequency in which they will be executed each month of this year, likewise with all this analysis, an editable program was lost in a free preventive maintenance software in the machines studied, with a maximum of three activities per month, which was delivered to the company where the operators or personnel in charge of these teams will have total availability to use and develop the maintenance plan.

    Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento basado en RCM (mantenimiento centrado en fiabilidad) para las máquinas de la sección de troquelado de la empresa “Halley Corporación C.L

    This technical project was developed considering the needs of the company “Halley Corporation C.L.” to improve the maintenance activities in its die cutting section, the machines present in this section are of utmost importance for the productivity of the company so it was necessary to adopt a maintenance approach based on reliability to determine the activities that will allow the machines to function properly for extended periods of time. To identify the possible failure modes as well as their causes and effects, NTP 679 was used to determine the guidelines for failure modes and effects analysis, then NTP 331 was applied for Weibull statistical analysis, where the uptime, downtime and dead time were considered to evaluate the availability of the machines as well as their reliability. The final product of the project is a maintenance plan based on RCM that contemplates two maintenance activities for each failure mode, in 12 ranges with 57 activities applicable to the machines of the die-cutting section. This result was reached through the SAE JA1011 standard and thus maintenance tasks were programmed that will prevent wear of the machinery through planned activities to keep the machines in good condition.
