Item Desarrollo e implementación de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo mediante el método TPM para el departamento de producción en la empresa carrocerías Impedsa(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2024-06) Arguello Miguez, Geovanny Adrian; Paredes Robalino, María BelénThis technical project was developed to implement a maintenance plan based on the total productive maintenance (TPM) methodology; to prolong the useful life of the components of the equipment and machines that are part of the production line, improving the organization of production in order to avoid unnecessary stoppages in the production lines. The information gathering was carried out, which consisted of carrying out an inventory of the machines and equipment to know the amount of equipment, the coding and the state in which they are found, then through the TPM, the “5S” was applied, selection of equipment and pilot machines for the respective maintenance aircraft; In addition, the failure modal analysis and effects matrix (FMEA) was carried out for each of the components, determining the possible failures of the equipment and the criticality analysis of the same, and with the maintenance ranges using specialized software that specializes in failure prevention activities taking into consideration the frequency and time to subsequently allow the objective of implementing the maintenance plan to be developed. As a result, the execution of an annual preventive maintenance plan was obtained with the activities that were organized for the various components, complying with the estimated times and operating frequency for one year; in addition to implementing a continuous improvement system with the TPM philosophy, involving both operators and maintenance personnel.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo en base a la norma ISO 55000 para la maquinaria de la empresa Cepolfi en la ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. The lack of detailed historical records makes it difficult to identify failure patterns and predict optimal times to perform maintenance activities, resulting in significant costs from unforeseen repairs and constant replacement of components. A preventive maintenance plan is implemented that covers the collection of data in each of the areas, recording in an inventory all the machines and equipment found, coding them according to their respective area so that they can be identified more quickly. The preparation of technical sheets for each of the machines provides information about each machine. Likewise, analysis methods such as FMEA are implemented to identify each of the most critical failures of the machine, which helps make improvement decisions. The creation of matrices with the description of the possible failures that may occur with their respective criticality evaluation provides us with the necessary information for decision making. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2024-02) Castro Núñez, Joselo Alexander; Castro Miniguano, Christian ByronThe company SICCPETR S.A. is located in the province of Francisco de Orellana, in the city of Coca, this company is dedicated to perform quality control processes with non-destructive testing in the oil sector, to make a technical visit in the company was found to lack a record of machines, inventories and maintenance plan that does not keep a detailed record of activities and this affects the production of the same, it was necessary to collect information from the machines and equipment it owns, performing preventive maintenance to verify that most common failures exist. In this technical project, a dossier of machines was prepared, which includes an inventory and technical data sheets, reflecting the most relevant and detailed information on the company's machines and equipment. Through statistical analysis, it was determined that most of the machines are in an optimal state of operation, also with the FMEA matrix, criticality matrix, logbook and range of maintenance, it was determined, which components are the most critical to failures and the most likely to be replaced, with this information was implemented a software where a record of more detailed activities of preventive maintenance, more organized and easy to use. On the other hand, as a result, the technical note NTP 679 was of fundamental use to carry out this technical project, which will help to avoid emergent stoppages of machines and equipment, to reduce repair times and to reduce costs.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para las máquinas y equipos del laboratorio de investigación mecánica LIM-UTA(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2024-02) Pozo Freire, Diego Alexander; Castro Miniguano, Christian ByronThe Mechanical Research Laboratory of the Technical University of Ambato LIM-UTA, is focused on the service of flammability testing of materials under the ISO 3795 standard [1]. It works under the ISO 17025 standard [2], which establishes the necessary requirements to work as a laboratory. Formed in 2019 with specialized technicians from the university, obtaining the recognition of the SAE and the designation of the MIPRO in 2021. Since its creation, only a scheduled maintenance plan has been drawn up, which does not cover the primary requirements that a preventive maintenance plan must meet [3]. In this project, a preventive maintenance plan was developed for the machines and equipment of the LIM-UTA mechanical research laboratory, based on the technical dossier according to the current documentation. The current state of the machines and equipment was established according to the Davis curve; its reliability was determined by applying the mathematical model of Weibull distribution according to NTP-331; failures and potential effects were identified by means of FMEA according to NTP-679. Finally, the plan was generated through the logs and ranges of activities, applying the criteria of the Total Productive Maintenance TPM program and delivering it to the UTA LIM for its respective approval and implementation. The elaboration of this technical project will allow LIM-UTA to develop its activities without any inconvenience or setbacks, which represent possible potential losses in legal and economic fields, both for LIM-UTA and for the Technical University of Ambato.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para las máquinas de la empresa “Servitorno” de la ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2023-09) Villacís Martínez, Roberto Wladimir; Castro Miniguano, Christian ByronThe company "SERVITORNO" located in the city of Ambato lacks a maintenance plan, so the machines stop working until they are repaired, due to this the production processes are delayed and the commitments acquired with the clients are affected. In this project, the most outstanding research method we applied was the field research, since we had to constantly visit the company and be in contact with the machinery under study. An inventory of the machines was made with their respective codification and the elaboration of the technical data sheets corresponding to each one of them, where the most relevant and necessary information is included. After the information was collected, the machines were diagnosed by means of a statistical analysis, in which it was determined that they are in good condition and operating with an availability of 97.69 percent. In addition, an FMEA and criticality analysis was performed to determine which elements are most prone to failures or breakdowns and thus be able to establish the activities in the maintenance ranges; this record of activities will be kept by means of specific software that allows easy management and organization of these activities. The development of this project will allow to avoid the emergent stops of the machinery, to guarantee the production processes on time and to diminish the economic losses that were generated in the company for not having a preventive maintenance plan that mitigates the unexpected failures in the machines.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para los equipos y máquinas en el Tecnicentro Automotriz Solís(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. A list of the machines and equipment in service was made, obtaining information on their condition, brand, year of manufacture and location, thus discovering an updated inventory and at the same time identifying the most used machines and the most prone to fail such as: the four elevators, a hydraulic press, an air compressor, a pedestal drill and a GMAW welder, information was collected such as: its technical characteristics, specifications, main components and an identification code will be completed, thus forming the technical sheets; the maintenance statistic was calculated with the work times from January to December 2022, in the case of elevators the period from October 2022 to May 2023 was used, information provided by the company with which the bathtub curve was obtained; The AMFE and criticality matrix was established, identifying its failure modes, causes, effects and giving ratings from which the most critical were obtained and the percentages of confidence and unreliability were analyzed. Which was carried out taking into account the lack of a structured and efficient preventive maintenance system, which has led to a higher incidence of breakdowns in the company's machinery and equipment, resulting in costly downtime and production losses. In this preventive maintenance plan, the company's machinery was codified, an inventory of existing machines was carried out, and a format for the creation of technical sheets was created, the machines were classified by system, subsystem and components. The criticality analysis was carried out to prioritize the components that required immediate intervention, in the same way the AMFE matrix was carried out based on the NTP 679, obtaining the components most prone to failure, with these results the maintenance logs and ranges were made to improve the operation of machinery. Based on these results, a risk review and registry format was designed. As a result, the preventive maintenance plan was designed for each type of machinery present in the company. This plan includes a detailed schedule of maintenance activities, such as periodic inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and replacement of worn parts. For the development of this project, an inventory was carried out in order to know the coding, quantity and operating status of the machines and tools, later the TPM philosophy was applied in which activities such as the selection of the pilot equipment, application of the "5S" and autonomous maintenance; In addition, the criticality analysis was carried out and with the help of the technical note on prevention NTP 679, a modal analysis of failures and effects was carried out in order to identify possible breakdowns and the criticality of the components, through the maintenance ranges determined the preventive actions for each one of them considering the frequency of action and duration.
