Item Diseño geométrico de la vía Ex Colonia Velasco Ibarra – Morete Cocha – Santa Mónica en el tramo km 0+000 – 4+000, perteneciente al cantón Carlos Julio Arosemena Tola, provincia de Napo(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2022-03) Cando Allaica, Welington Alfredo; Bayas Altamirano, Myriam MarisolThis project was developed in the canton of Carlos Julio Arosemena Tola, in the province of Napo, for the development of this work we approached the relevant authorities to communicate to the inhabitants the activities to be carried out. All the works corresponding to the geometric design of highways were carried out following the specifications established by the current regulations in the country, this being the MOP-2003 standard. The starting point was the traffic study for the determination of the annual average daily traffic, which was carried out manually at a strategic point for a period of 7 days with a duration of 12 hours, yielding the necessary data to obtain the projected future traffic, with which the road class was determined, allowing the development of the calculations for the horizontal and vertical alignment and elements of the cross sections of the road. Subsequently, soil tests were performed to determine its physical and mechanical characteristics, taking soil samples every 500 meters. Once the soil tests were completed, a design CBR was determined with which, using the AASHTO-93 method, the flexible pavement structure was designed, obtaining thicknesses for the base, subbase and asphalt layer. In addition, a topographic survey was carried out with RTK electronic equipment, obtaining georeferenced points to then carry out the geometric design of the road using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Finally, the referential budget for the project was established by performing the unit price analysis. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2024-02) Toapanta Lagla, Fabricio David; Bayas Altamirano, Myriam MarisolThis technical project seeks to solve the problem of the state of the roads in the communities of Yanahurquito - Chisulche Grande - Cruz Pungo - San Bartolo, to have a road in good condition improving time and transportation of agricultural products for marketing and obtaining a better quality of life both socially and economically for the inhabitants. A previous inspection of the place was made to know the topographic conditions of the sector, then the topographic survey was made with a 100 m strip and 20 m abscised in straight sections, and 10 m in circular sections with the help of the RTK GNNS equipment; the vehicle count was developed for 7 days in a period of 12 hours with which the projected TPDA for 20 years was determined. For the soil study, samples were taken with calicatas executed in the field every 1000 m, then moisture content, granulometry, liquid and plastic indexes, modified proctor, CBR tests were performed to determine the physical and mechanical characteristics of each of the soil samples under the AASHTO and SUCS standards; The road geometric design was carried out with the help of the current regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works (MOP-2003) and from the results obtained in the soil study, the structural layers of the pavement were defined under the AASHTO-93 regulations. Finally, the referential budget was made together with the unit price analysis.Item Diseño geométrico y estructural de una vía que une el sector de Calgua con el centro de transferencia perteneciente a la parroquia Augusto Nicolas Martinez, cantón Ambato, provincia de Tungurahua(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2023-08) Toapanta Moposita, Kevin Paúl; Aldás Sánchez, Milton RodrigoThe geometric road design proposes to unite the Calgua sector belonging to the Augusto Nicolás Martínez parish with the Ambato Transfer Center with the purpose of solving the problems of the sector, such as the shortage of road works, the difficult access to services such as health, education and human mobility, all as a consequence of inadequate road infrastructure. This project began with the socialization of the inhabitants of the Calgua sector. The area where the construction of the road is proposed was visited, and the topographic survey was carried out for two days with GPS RTK equipment. The Annual Average Daily Traffic (TPDA) was determined during a period of 7 days. The extraction of soil samples was carried out by means of the open pit method to carry out the granulometry, Atterberg limits, modified Proctor and CBR tests. Regarding the geometric design of the road, the MOP 2003 standard was used and the AASHTO-93 standard was used for the structural design of the flexible pavement, in addition to allowing a referential budget for the project to be made. Finally, TPDA results of 186 veh/day, a type of SM soil (clay sand), a design CBR of 9.7 percent, a road width of 11.20 m and a flexible pavement structural package of 40 cm were obtained, in addition to a referential budget of one million six hundred sixtyeight thousand eight hundred sixty-one dollars, 34/100 centsItem Rediseño geométrico y diseño del pavimento flexible de la vía Bellavista Jesús del Gran Poder del cantón Tisaleo provincia de Tungurahua(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2024-08) Valencia Medina, Bryan Alexander; Aldás Sánchez, Milton RodrigoThe preparation of this Technical Project responds to the need to provide safe and comfortable mobility to the inhabitants of the sector who are dedicated to agriculture and livestock. Furthermore, the objective is to reduce travel times and promote the economic and social development of the intervened areas and their surroundings. During the investigation, the topographic survey was carried out using the high-precision RTK GPS and a drone to capture orthophotos, delimiting the 50m topographic strip on each side of the road and a study length of 4,091km. In addition, a traffic study was carried out by manually counting vehicles in the project area, in which it was projected that by the year 2044, the TPDA will be 473 vehicles per day and the number of equivalent axles will be 48,606, Classifying a class III road, the geometric design was carried out in accordance with the Ecuadorian regulations MTOP 2003 and NEVI - 2012. For the design of the pavement, a soil study was carried out in the laboratory, resulting in a design CBR of 15 percent. Applying the AASHTO-93 Method, thicknesses of 5 cm were established for the asphalt layer, 15 cm for the class 3 granular base and 15 cm for the class 3 granular subbase. Finally, a reference budget for the project was developed with a value of $1,455,549.94, detailing items and volumes of work, providing a clear understanding of the resources necessary for the execution of the proposal.
