Item Estudio de tiempos y movimientos en los procesos productivos en la línea estándar de PDI en la empresa Ciudad del Auto Ciauto Cia. Ltda.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2025-02) Viera Guerrero Verónica Alejandra; Ortiz Guerrero Daysi MargaritaThis project focuses on the analysis of time and motion in the production processes of the standard line for Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) at CIAUTO Cía. Ltda., an Ecuadorian company that leads in the manufacturing of Great Wall Motors vehicles. In response to delays caused by non-value-added tasks, poor communication, and inadequate resource distribution, the objective is to optimize operational efficiency through method engineering tools. The methodology employed includes time measurement, flowchart analysis, and statistical techniques, allowing for the calculation of standard times and the identification of bottlenecks in the reception, washing, standard work, and inspection lines. Additionally, a detailed diagnosis of current activities was conducted, identifying unproductive times and proposing improvements. Solutions include the reconfiguration of workstations and the standardization of processes through detailed work instructions. The results demonstrate a significant reduction in cycle times and an increase in productivity: 4.9% in reception, 6.7% in washing, and 9.4% in motor compartment tasks. These improvements not only enhance operational efficiency but also strengthen CIAUTO's competitive capacity in a growing automotive market. The comprehensive proposal ensures alignment with international standards, contributes to organizational sustainability, and promotes a continuous workflow, establishing CIAUTO as a benchmark in the Ecuadorian automotive industry.Item Rutas de transporte para la distribución y entrega de productos de la empresa embutidos La Madrileña(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2025-02) Molina Martínez Jomayra Elizabeth; Tigre Ortega Franklin GeovannyThe optimization of transportation routes is vitally important for organizations, since it allows them to improve the distribution of their products and reduce the associated logistics costs. The objective of this study was to optimize transportation routes for products distribution and delivery at Embutidos La Madrileña company. The applied methodology contemplates a diagnosis of the current situation in organization's transportation routes, as well as the identification of the costs associated to distribution of its products, together with an analysis of weighted factors for the selection of an optimization model, method and tool most applicable to the conditions for organization. Thus, a model based on the Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP) model was developed, using the Genetic Algorithm as a solution implemented through Microsoft Excel Solver. Results showed a representative reduction in traveled distances from 518.2 km to 267.2 km per week for mobile 1 and from 421.8 km to 254.6 km per week for mobile 2, which economically represents an estimated weekly saving in the total cost of transportation and distribution of $116.89 for mobile 1 and $93.38 for mobile 2. It is concluded that optimization techniques application are viable strategies to improve the product transportation and distribution operations.Item Aplicación móvil para la automatización del proceso de gestión de pedidos en la ferretería “Perfitool”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. In recent years, the use of technological tools has seen a notable increase, driving the development of both small businesses and large companies. The purpose of this project is to implement technological solutions in Perfitool to optimize its order management, improve its reach, and consequently boost the growth of its sales. Specifically, the development of a mobile application is proposed to facilitate interaction between the business and its customers, offering a more convenient ordering experience while optimizing the use of available resources. Mobile applications have become a key tool to strengthen the relationship with customers, enabling more direct and efficient communication. This project seeks to leverage these technologies to foster the development and competitiveness of Perfitool in the current market.Item Fortalecimiento de la conectividad y seguridad en la red inalámbrica de la Unidad Educativa Bolívar(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Telecomunicaciones, 2025-02) Jerez Masaquiza Flavio Antonio; Manzano Villafuerte Víctor SantiagoConnectivity and security in wireless networks are essential for ensuring efficient and safe access to digital resources in educational institutions. This project focuses on diagnosing and improving the wireless network at Unidad Educativa Bolívar. The assessment identified issues such as poor coverage, insufficient network segmentation, and weak security measures, which negatively impacted the network’s performance and the user experience. To address these issues, the network was redesigned by optimizing its physical and logical configuration. The optimization process included analyzing channel interference, implementing VLANs to organize traffic and enhance security, and strategically relocating access points to improve coverage. Tools such as Acrylic Wi-Fi Heatmaps were used to simulate and verify the improved coverage, while AutoCAD was utilized to create accurate institutional maps. International standards were also applied for organizing and labeling cables. During the implementation, a complete backup of configurations was performed, outdated equipment in the data center was replaced, and advanced security features were configured. These included WPA2-AES encryption for all access points, VLAN implementation, and the creation of specific rules in Mikrotik routers. The results demonstrated significant improvements in connectivity, coverage, and security, enabling more efficient and secure access to digital resources.Item Diseño de un sistema de gestión por procesos en la empresa “Kipa Amaranto”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Through the diagnosis of the current situation of the process management system, it was identified the lack of documentation in the productive processes that allow adequate control and fol low up of them; these generate delays, unproductive times, and repetitive tasks that do not generate added value Subsequently, a detailed analysis of the principal processes of the company was applied to be documented in a process map. The data of the ope rational processes were carried out using management tools such as process sheets, which describe the elements that make up production; flow charts, flow diagrams, and analytical flowcharts. In addition, control indicators were established and a time study was carried out to determine the standard time required for the execution of each product. Finally, process and procedure manuals were made to provide an improvement proposal for the productive development of the organization, through the standardization of the identified processes. These manuals present a structured manner of all the guidelines that must be taken into account to optimize operations and ensure the standardization of processes. The documents generated provide a clear and detailed guide on h ow to carry out each activity; which will facilitate the planning, execution, and evaluation of personnel training, improve supervision and job monitoring, and will contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of operations at "KIPA AMARANTO" Company.Item Planeación de producción a través de la aplicación de metodologías heurísticas para la optimización de costos en el área de producción de la empresa “Calzado Stalin”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2023-03) Eugenio Pullutasig, Sergio Stalin; Ortíz Sailema, Christian IsmaelThe main objective of this research was: To develop a production planning through the application of heuristic methodologies for cost optimization in the production area of the company "Calzado Stalin", for which an aggregate planning model is proposed with methodologies that allow satisfying the requirements of the demand. In the current state of the company, the activities and production strategies were identified through observation sheets, when executing a production line, the resources presented in each process were reflected, mentioning that they do not have a production plan. The analysis to know the production process through files will survey processes and balance masses in each production area with the raw material. In the analysis of how long it takes to do each activity through the process diagram focused on the productive activities necessary for the manufacture of footwear. Finally, aggregate production plans are developed with heuristic methodologies in which you need relevant costs of resources in manufacturing, the results obtained from the installation costs of the plans are: Model 1 Exact Production with Variable Labor Force with a cost of $ 247,655.00, Model 2 Constant Labor Force with overtime and unproductive times with a cost of $ 212,636.71, Model 3 Constant Workforce with overtime -50% and 100% surcharge with a cost of $237,379.36 and Model 4 Constant Workforce, downtime and exhausted service a cost of $249,755.06. In addition to that, a model to be implemented was proposed, detailing the necessary requirements that the company must take to produce.Item Metodología 5´s para la optimización en la gestión de bodega en la empresa textil “ROPA INFANTIL ECUATORIANA (RIE)”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2023-03) Guamán Lloacana, Henry Antonio; Naranjo Chiriboga, Israel ErnestoSmall and medium-sized companies currently face constant change due to external and internal factors that hinder the full development of their activities. “Ropa Infantil Ecuatoriana (RIE)” is in this group, which does not have an adequate productive management, in such a way that methodologies focused on the improvement of its facilities and processes are not applied, as well as changes in the organizational culture and personnel commitment, focused on the care and maintenance of work areas, equipment and materials. This research project begins with a study of the current situation of the company through an IPISI analysis that includes five phases, the first an analysis of infrastructure and areas, second a review of processes, the third phase the analysis of inventories, the fourth point involves labor and occupational safety and finally the logistics indicators. Subsequently, the 5'S checklist is applied to verify the level of compliance of the company, showing a level below satisfactory (15/50), then the project is supported with a scientific basis of cases of application of the 5'S in textile sectors using the PRISMA methodology to identify key factors for the success of the implementation of the 5'S, therefore the application plan of the methodology is developed using a manual for the implementation of this tool in the warehouse under study, where the 5 points are detailed, which are: Seiri (classification), Seiton (order), Seiso (cleaning) and finally the stages of Seiketsu (standardization) and Shitsuke (discipline). As a final part, a before and after comparison was made, presenting the benefits achieved with the implementation of the 5'S methodology, in addition to reapplying the checklist, finding an improvement in its level of compliance, in quantitative terms it is 46/50, which means a 62% improvement over the initial situation. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2022-09) Álvarez Reisancho, Wilmer Danilo; López Arboleda, Jessica PaolaThe main objective of this research is to develop a time and motion study for productivity improvement in post-harvest area in Rosas del Corazón-Finca Dos company through the collection of information for current situation of company analysis and the post-harvest operating processes in bouquets elaboration. The first stage corresponded mainly to the collection of company data; which was developed through techniques application such as observation, interview and critical analysis of the data collected; In turn, among the activities that were contemplated in this stage, there was the description of productive process and identification of the study elements. For the fulfillment of second stage, quantitative data were processed and analyzed through calculation tools. Consequently, parameters such as performance index, supplements, cycle time, standard time and production capacity were evaluated for each of the processes, identifying the bottleneck. Consequently, the packing process is the process that currently sets the pace of work with a theoretical production capacity of 6017 stems during the working day; and, the standard time to process a batch (300 stems) is 251.82 minutes The third stage focused on a proposal development based on recommendations of the International Labor Organization and the efficient use of posts and stations within the postharvest physical area, reducing times, movements and eliminating the bottleneck in the harvesting process. post-harvest, obtaining a new theoretical capacity of 7,224 stems without requiring a large investment. The results obtained were analyzed considering the current process and the improvement proposal proposed in this research project; Finally, the behavior and flow of process, its inputs and outputs were analyzed through the FlexSim software.Item Optimización del sistema de acondicionamiento para un dispositivo de captación de energía electromagnética(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Balarezo Jerez, Ángel Darío; Cuji Rodríguez, Julio EnriqueEl acondicionamiento y almacenamiento de energía en la actualidad es muy importante para los dispositivos IOT, lograr una alta eficiencia de conversión de energía RF en energía CC es fundamental para obtener una fuente de voltaje cinfiable que se puede utilizar para alimentar aparatos electrónicos de baja potencia. En este trabajo se muestra que se obtiene mayor voltaje de salida al emplear una etapa de acoplamiento entre la fuente y el multiplicador de voltaje. Se diseñan e implementan multiplicadores de voltaje de 1, 2 y 4 etapas de diodos y capacitancias para seleccionar el mejor desempeño. Se determina que existe un incremento de voltaje considerable a partir de -5dBm, logrando acumular hasta 4.5 Vcc de forma rápida en un capacitador electrolítico con el circuito de 4 etapas.Item Aplicación móvil multiplataforma para la gestión y control de entregas de los porteadores de la empresa Esfloserv Cia. In this research project, the perspective is the development of a mobile application focused on optimizing the service of sending and delivery of parcels by the company ESFLOSERV CIA. LTDA in view of the desire to update or improve this service by converting its traditional methodology into modern and excelring from other companies dedicated to similar services. The development of the mobile application using IONIC allows the saving of resources and the implementation of programming languages such as TypeScript with ergonomics taking advantage of safely and efficiently resources in order to provide a multiplatform mobile application for the management and control of deliveries of the porters that fully meet the requirements of the company The methodology selected for the realization of this work will be Xtreme Programming or also known as XP due to its high acceptance and performing excellently in the development work, in addition to being a methodology that has a communication between users and the development group of the application giving the necessary support.
