Using a quantitative approach, a questionnaire was randomly applied to 383 young people from Ambato, complemented by a bibliographic review and statistical analysis. The analysis of the information was obtained by means of a Chi-square test, which accepts the null hypothesis that mentions that the HIV campaigns implemented by the MSP do not have a significant impact. The results show that most young people rarely encounter campaigns and they have little impact on their knowledge about HIV. Social media is considered the most effective means of disseminating information, although the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) still mainly uses brochures. The study's findings show that current campaigns do not have a significant impact because they do not use the communication channels preferred by 16-25 years old, such as social media. It is recommended that the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) use social media as its main channel of dissemination. Additionally, it is suggested that they organize talks with experts to help young people better understand and prevent HIV. This study highlights the importance of the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) adapting its communication strategies to improve HIV prevention among the youth of Ambato.Item Gestión de la comunicación y el manejo de situaciones de crisis en el hospital Solca Núcleo de Tungurahua de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación, 2025-03-05) Mazaquiza Melgar, Tannia Elizabeth; Guamán Guadalima, Nelly GabrielaThe management of communication and the handling of crisis situations is key for institutions and even more so in health institutions such as the Hospital Solca Núcleo de Tungurahua, because it allows the institution to respond quickly, minimize the impact and scope of the message in crisis situations, demonstrating an environment of transparency and empathy, in addition to maintaining trust it creates a connection between the institution and the users, who place in the hands of the institution and its staff not only their health but also their trust. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of migration and family disintegration on the inhabitants of Pilahuin parish. When a family member decides to move to another place or country, several factors occur that make family interactions difficult and cause emotional uncertainty. The absence of a loved one due to migration can cause feelings of loss, loneliness and anxiety in the members who remain, altering both family dynamics and the cultural identity of all members. This contributes to family stress, as both the migrant and his or her family face challenges such as adapting to a new environment and a different culture, which can generate additional tensions. These economic challenges and financial insecurity can exacerbate these stresses, which impact on family cohesion and increase tensions in family relationships. The implementation of a proposal to develop integration workshops for immigrant families has as its main objective to improve the family climate in order to promote employment and economic development opportunities. These workshops are designed to favor cultural adaptation, promote social cohesion and provide migrant families with the necessary tools to integrate effectively in their new environment. Pilahuin families, both positive and negative effects of the migratory context are observed. A non-experimental quantitative method, non-exploratory research and survey were used as data collection technique. The results indicate the need to support families with migrant members so that they can face the emotional and social challenges related to family disintegration. It is critical to recognize that migrants experience separation from family and friends, which can generate sadness, loneliness and homesickness. Communication technologies play a crucial role in maintaining family ties often sustained through monetary exchanges that are interpreted as tokens of affection and affection, helping to mitigate feelings of loss and isolationItem La comunicación y el posicionamiento en las redes sociales Tiktok y Facebook en la “Liga Deportiva Barrial Eloy Alfaro” en el cantón Latacunga(Universidad Tècnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicaciòn, 2024-08) Cofre Tipán, Cristian Paúl; Ortega Arcos, Wagner EnriqueThis executive summary offers an overview of the findings and recommendations derived from the quantitative analysis carried out on the communication and presence on social networks of the "Liga Deportiva Barrial Eloy Alfaro". Reflexivity is sought through critical discourse analysis, because it implies becoming aware of certain beliefs, prejudices and human values, which can be part of and influence the development of the research and the analysis of the results. This research is important because it allows us to build social meaning, in this way knowing the abuse of power in society, domination, inequality, which could be found immersed in discourses that are massively disseminated on social networks to a certain segment, seeking to persuade the decisions of citizens. Within the Ecuadorian context there are different ways of constructing a discourse, depending on the ideologies of the different existing social parties. In this case, a publication made on Twitter is analyzed, intended to communicate to Ecuadorians the situation the country is going through on the issue of insecurity and drug trafficking, which has grown exponentially during the current president's government period, with 88 votes in favor. in favor, 23 against and 5 without a vote, having more than half of what was required, the National Assembly approved the impeachment of Guillermo Lasso for alleged misappropriation of public funds on May 8, 2023. With an orientation that seeks to benefit the University community in its learning process, as well as researchers, critical analysts and society in general, who are familiar with or wish to delve deeper into political aspects and critical analysis in the proposed research.
