Item Eficiencia Técnica mediante Análisis Envolvente de Datos del Sector Educativo(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas. Maestría en Gestión Empresarial basado en Métodos Cuantitativos, 2019) Tubón Núñez, Edith Elena; Castro Analuiza, Juan CarlosCon el aumento de la matrícula de estudiantes en las universidades y el financiamiento limitado, ya no es una opción para estas instituciones operar a un mayor grado de eficiencia, sino que se ha convertido en una necesidad. La matrícula en la educación superior continuará su expansión y la financiación pública será cada vez más diluida, sobre todo a medida que aumenta la competencia de los otros receptores de fondos públicos, las instituciones educativas deben someterse a la rendición de cuentas, evaluaciones de desempeño. El diseño del estudio se planteó bajo una propuesta de corte transversal, y se enfocó bajo el propósito de evaluar la eficiencia técnica, mediante el análisis envolvente de datos, en las Instituciones de Educación Superior. Con esta configuración del diseño, se planteó una muestra de 54 Instituciones de Educación Superior, y se utilizó como instrumento los informes presentados por el Consejo Nacional de Evaluación y Acreditación de la Educación Superior del Ecuador (CONEA) del año 2009. Se realizó una adaptación del Ordenamiento Metodológico COOPER como marco de referencia con más evidencias empíricas en la evaluación eficiente, en las organizaciones. El marco consta de seis fases interrelacionadas: conceptos y objetivos, estructuración de datos, modelos operacionales, modelo de comparación de resultados, evaluación y resultado e implementación. Se aplica procedimientos que permiten la reducción de variables a una cantidad apropiada para que los resultados del DEA sean confiables, y condiciones de borde para atender a los objetivos supuestos para la Universidad. Los resultados se contrastan con el instrumento de evaluación que en la actualidad posee la Universidad. Como conclusión se identifica discordancia entre ambos resultados, estableciéndose las modificaciones que se debieran hacer por parte de la Universidad en sus instrumentos de evaluación hacia la mejora de la eficiencia, para que sea aplicable a otras instituciones de educación superior.Item Estudio de tiempos y movimientos para el mejoramiento del proceso productivo en la empresa de lácteos “El Enjambre”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2023-03) Esparza Huachi, Mireya Abigail; Tubón Núñez, Edith ElenaIn the research project the study of times and movements in the dairy company “The Swarm” is carried out in order to improve the production process, increase productivity and standardize the process. The current situation of the company is known through direct observation and unstructured interviews with the manager and the operator in charge of the production area. From the initial diagnosis of the company, the ABC analysis is performed to select the product of greatest demand using the sales history, identifying mozzarella cheese as the product of greatest consumption to carry out the study. To obtain the necessary data for the development of the project, time measurements were made by timing, taking into account the activities and movements performed by the operator in each subprocess; the information obtained is organized by means of flowcharts, analytical cursograms and tables. During the development of the project, the bottleneck and the absence of standardized processes were identified. Finally, the standard times of each subprocess are determined and activities that do not generate value were eliminated or combined, obtaining an improvement in time of 4.08% and from this the line balance is carried out to balance the workloads and that the process flows continuously; additional the manual of procedures for the production of mozzarella cheese was developed to guide the workers in the development of their activities and therefore improve the productivity of the company.Item Gestión de procesos en el área de producción de la empresa BAESC S.A.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2023-03) Aigaje Sierra, Wilson Andrés; Tubón Núñez, Edith ElenaThe lack of internal management of a production plant implies preparing processes inadequately and ineffectively, producing high production costs without generating added value to the product, reducing the degree of market development. The objective is to develop a management by processes on the production plant in order to maintain a constant follow-up on the management of the resources that BAESC S.A. has. The present research approach, in the textile company BAESC S.A., determined that 23 products are offered, where the evaluation was obtained that, with an average annual sale of $122,438.36, the Spanish Cover is the product with the highest demand, the same that requires 6 main processes for its elaboration and these are: cutting, confection, padding, embroidery, final confection and packaging. For each of the work areas, a management indicator was developed that covers the need to keep track of the critical activities of the production plant. The procedures manual, as a regulatory means of the processes involved, was an important factor, due to the correct planning management of the use of resources present in the company BAESC S.A.Item Gestión por procesos en la Compañía de Investigación y Desarrollo Tecnológico Softsierra S.A.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Therefore, obtaining standardized guidelines produces a support to achieve continuous improvement opportunities in the company's processes, with the purpose of satisfying the customer's needs and optimizing resources. The development of the present research project presents a management by processes in the company of research and technological development Software de la Sierra S.A., in charge of the commercialization of technological services of business management; the main problems of the company are generated from the fact that disorder and deficient processes are generated as a consequence of the absence of documentation, planning and adequate controls. In addition, there is no adequate control of the activities that are performed, causing the loss of financial and intangible resources, thus affecting customer satisfaction. The main objective is to have clear and concise documentation; for which methods and tools are applied to perform a systematized procedure, starting from the analysis of the current situation of the company through the survey and development of a process map that provides a global and specific vision of all the processes that are executed in the organization to proceed with the standardization and development of the manual that allows a proper development of workers in their tasks. It is for this reason that the development of a manual of processes and procedures is proposed with the objective of following a systematic process and a documented information structure for the company, which will be used as an element of orientation, consultation, training, and induction of personnel.Item Gestión por procesos para la Fábrica de Chocolates Pazmiño(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2024-08) Pazmiño Solis, Marcos Nicolás; Tubón Núñez, Edith ElenaThe Pazmiño Chocolate Factory is a company dedicated to the production of artisanal chocolate bars, it has a history of more than 100 years in the market, the processes for the production of chocolate have improved in recent years thanks to the implementation of new machinery, however, it does not have records, documents and instructions about the procedures and activities that are carried out in each operational process, In addition, the factory does not have a process management system that allows the fulfillment of organizational objectives, the standardization of processes, the assignment of roles and managers in each area. An initial diagnosis was carried out through direct observation, interview and surveys, where information was obtained on the processes, machinery, activities and areas or departments that the factory has, which allowed the identification of the problem and determine the operational activities, in this way the processes were classified as operational, strategic and supportive, in addition the process map and their characterization were developed. allowing the identification of inputs, processes, outputs, resources and those responsible. For the standardization of the operational processes, analytical and synoptic cursograms were carried out, where the operations, storage, waiting and inspections in the production of chocolate were identified, in addition it was possible to identify the operations that require more time and the distances traveled, the indicators were established for each operational process, in order to evaluate, monitor and control the performance of each one. Finally, a manual of procedures for operational processes based on process management was proposed, the manual was designed as a guide for workers, it has indicators and records to determine the fulfillment of organizational objectives.Item Planeación de requerimiento de materiales para la gestión de inventarios en la empresa Agroalimentaria Kipa Amaranto(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2023-09) Sánchez Briceño, Christopher Alexander; Tubón Núñez, Edith ElenaThe main aim of the following research is the development of a material requirements planning (MRP) for Kipa Amaranto, an agro-industrial company located in Riobamba City. MRP is proposed to be implemented in order to achieve an efficient resource management. This will allow an appropriate planning of raw material acquisition and product manufacturing. Study began by gathering company information such as general data, location, and products. Through an ABC analysis, the most important products were identified. Process sheets and SIPOC diagrams were used to understand processes and relationships between suppliers, inputs, and final products. A crucial step in planning development was time study. Through the use of analytical flowcharts, different relevant processes were mapped, and methods such as Westinghouse were applied to evaluate performance and rest supplements established by the ILO to determine normal and standard times necessary for each process. In addition, an exhaustive analysis of the company's inventories and warehouses was carried out through a relevant layout design. This allowed for more efficient material management and an accurate calculation of costs associated with inventory maintenance. Likewise, historical sales data were used to make 12-month forecasts for the year 2024, which was essential in MRP implementation. A MRP for the year 2024 was developed in great detail, considering the required materials for the company’s four products. MRP application will allow for better planning of the purchases of inputs, avoiding both excess and shortage of inventory, and ensuring the timely availability of materials for production starting. Comparing current costs of $2882.45 to proposed costs of $1936.95 using the MRP, a significant savings of $945.50 was achieved. This saving represents an improvement of 32.80% in economic efficiency, highlighting the positive impact of MRP on resource management.Item :“Software educativo para la enseñanza de Estadística Descriptiva y su incidencia en el aprendizaje significativo en los estudiantes de noveno y décimo año de Educación General Básica del Colegio José Fidel Hidalgo.”(2013) Tubón Núñez, Edith Elena; DT-Ríos Lara, LeninEl presente trabajo investigativo se basa en un paradigma constructivista, con un enfoque cuanti-cualitativo; cuantitativo porque se obtuvo datos numéricos que serán tabulados estadísticamente y cualitativo porque los resultados numéricos serán analizados con ayuda del Marco Teórico; la investigación realizada permitió establecer una propuesta sobre el diseño y desarrollo de una aula virtual para la enseñanza de estadística descriptiva como herramienta didáctica para mejorar el aprendizaje significativo en los estudiantes de noveno y décimo año de Educación General Básica del Colegio “José Fidel Hidalgo”. Mediante la presente investigación se concluye que el maestro actual de matemática, mediante el uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación,debe enseñar a procesar los contenidos, descubrir las relaciones entre los diversos entes matemáticos; y poner en juego su capacidad de razonamiento, sobre los conocimientos que posee el alumno, el profesor debe elaborar el nuevo conocimiento con las habilidades, estilo, perspectiva y estrategia que mejor se acomoden al estudiante; puesto que si se deja con hábitos erróneos, o se implanta métodos opuestos a los que tenía, no adelantará nada y será un fracaso más. En la actualidad se debe propiciar la discusión en donde el alumno exponga sus puntos de vista sobre los conocimientos recibidos. Hay que asegurar que el alumno aprenda a procesar la información obtenida, que desarrolle un verdadero razonamiento, en definitiva, la repetición y la imitación no puede ser nuestro objetivo de enseñanza. La propuesta abarca temas relacionados con: la utilización de un aula virtual para la enseñanza de Estadística Descriptiva. Además en el marco teórico se ha recopilado información actualizada que guía eficientemente el desarrollo de la temática propuesta y sirve de fuente de consulta a quien se interese sobre el tema.
