Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2025-02) Supe Criollo Christian Patricio; Ortiz Guerrero Daysi MargaritaThis research proposes a process management in order to standardize the activities developed within the innovation laboratory Makerspace Inspira Lab, this will allow operations to be executed in a more effective and efficient way by controlling the processes through the relevant documentation. In order to know the current situation of the laboratory, we began with the collection of information through interviews, surveys and direct observation of the workflow, showing that the tasks are performed in a traditional way, with undefined processes and disorder in the execution of activities due to the lack of documentation for monitoring the processes. Based on the current situation, we proceeded to carry out a process survey where each of the activities to be carried out during each operation was specified, through the use of data sheets and the design of flow charts, then each of the identified processes was classified, which were represented in a structured manner within the process map to visualize how they are interrelated. Additionally, the processes were characterized, including the SIPOC diagram, the PHVA cycle and the management indicators. Finally, the processes and procedures manual was developed, which contains detailed and orderly information for the uniform execution of tasks, work instructions and documents for the control of indicators. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2025-02) Tamayo Mejia Kevin Alejandro; Ureña Aguirre Jeanette del PilarNowadays, laboratories must guarantee the reliability of their test results to ensure product quality. An effective way to achieve this is to implement a management system based on the NTE INEN-ISO/IEC 17025:2018 standard. The objective of this degree work was to design a management system aligned to this standard for the quality control laboratory of HOLVIPLAS S.A., which allowed managing the activities and assuring the tests. The project is based on applied, documentary and field research; it is applied because the processes necessary to standardize the activities were documented; documentary, because the bibliographic information was systematized for the diagnosis and development of the project; and field research, due to the direct collection of information by the researcher. The process began with the identification of the problem and the definition of the objectives, followed by the investigation of the normative and theoretical bases for the design of the system. In the initial analysis, the compliance self-assessment questionnaire provided by SAE, in accordance with NTE INEN-ISO/IEC 17025:2018, was used, along with general laboratory information, which provided a basis for the project proposal. Finally, a quality manual, process map, procedures manual, risk management matrix and process characterization were developed, comprising 9 processes and 30 procedures, which made it possible to comply with the requirements established in the standard. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2024-08) Lagua Moreta, Hugo Ricardo; Ortiz Guerrero, Daysi MargaritaGlobally, process standardization and compliance with quality standards are fundamental elements to ensure excellent levels of competitiveness in today's market. However, the poor or null knowledge regarding ISO 9001:2015 and its application has generated significant losses and very big challenges in terms of managing agile and controlled processes. This research addresses the design and development of a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2015 for the company Tenería Núñez, in order to improve the quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the organization. Under this context, the research begins with the mapping of all the company's processes, identifying its strategic, operational and support processes, in order to contemplate a global vision of the organization's operations. Subsequently, an evaluation was developed to measure the company's level of compliance with the requirements of this standard, using a checklist based on the initial conditions of Tenería Núñez. The results obtained reveal that the organization's processes are developed under empirical approaches, without formalized or structured systems and without a clear vision to comply with quality standards. After the analysis developed, it was identified that the level of non-compliance of the organization amounts to 61.73%, which could cause negative impacts on its credibility and reputation before all its stakeholders. In this sense, it provided the necessary documentation and requirements for the company's Quality Management System. The proposed documentation contains matrices, formats, records and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 contemplated in a quality manual for the organization, a document that will serve as a guide for the application, implementation, monitoring and improvement of the QMS.Item Riesgos ergonómicos en el personal administrativo de la Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2024-08) Pazmiño Solis, Marcos Nicolás; Tubón Núñez, Edith ElenaThe Pazmiño Chocolate Factory is a company dedicated to the production of artisanal chocolate bars, it has a history of more than 100 years in the market, the processes for the production of chocolate have improved in recent years thanks to the implementation of new machinery, however, it does not have records, documents and instructions about the procedures and activities that are carried out in each operational process, In addition, the factory does not have a process management system that allows the fulfillment of organizational objectives, the standardization of processes, the assignment of roles and managers in each area. An initial diagnosis was carried out through direct observation, interview and surveys, where information was obtained on the processes, machinery, activities and areas or departments that the factory has, which allowed the identification of the problem and determine the operational activities, in this way the processes were classified as operational, strategic and supportive, in addition the process map and their characterization were developed. allowing the identification of inputs, processes, outputs, resources and those responsible. For the standardization of the operational processes, analytical and synoptic cursograms were carried out, where the operations, storage, waiting and inspections in the production of chocolate were identified, in addition it was possible to identify the operations that require more time and the distances traveled, the indicators were established for each operational process, in order to evaluate, monitor and control the performance of each one. Finally, a manual of procedures for operational processes based on process management was proposed, the manual was designed as a guide for workers, it has indicators and records to determine the fulfillment of organizational objectives. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2024-02) Tapia Nuñez, Victor Stalin; Ortiz Sailema, Christian IsmaelThis proyect proposes the implementation of a Process Management Model for the production area of the ServiTorno company. It was evidenced that the company lacks documentation of the productive process, which prevents the standardization of work, resulting in lost times due to reprocessing due to failures in machining activities. In addition, it was observed that the work in the plant is carried out empirically based on experience of operator, which leads to an increase in production costs. The current situation of the company was analyzed based on the information collected through the unstructured interview with the manager and direct observation through face-to-face visits, subsequently the ABC methodology was applied to determine the product with the highest demand. Subsequently, the processes were identified and represented on the process map. In reference to the operational processes, process cards were used to collect information from each one, these were represented sequentially in flow diagrams and a time study was conducted to determine the standard manufacturing time of the most demanded machining. Finally, the process and procedures manual were designed with the aim of providing operators with a standardized guide for the execution of activities. This guide details in a structured way the guidelines to facilitate their development, with the aim of avoiding failures that affect the quality of the product, maintain control of production through records and improve customer satisfaction. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2023-11) Padilla Pilataxi, Diego Fabián; Ortiz Sailema, Christian IsmaelIt is known that lack of studies on the standardization of processes generates waste in the production process, ending in waits and delays in the planned delivery times of an order batch from a plant. A study carried out at BALANVALLE CÍA. LTDA. and the objective were to analyze the waste generated in the production plant, through the field methodology steps of identifying, evaluating, and establishing control over the activities that do not add value to a product were carried out. It began with the sales analysis that established complete bovine feed as most in-demand product with average annual sales of $193,218, equivalent to 63.35% of the total. Through the process survey, a total of 83 activities were identified, where the existence of 16 waste generated in the areas of the production plant was determined. The 5s methodology determined that the company must be regulated internally by eliminating unnecessary objects that do not add value to the product under the principle of a place for everything and everything in its place and generating a culture of cleanliness on the line. of production. Through the proposal of the procedure’s manual in which each plant process was placed and 10 unnecessary activities were eliminated, an improvement equivalent to 12.05% was obtained. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2023-09) Maticurema Salazar, Milton José; Tigre Ortega, Franklin GeovannyProcess standardization encompasses the elimination of activities that do not add value to the product in order to obtain a different perspective on resource management in terms of reducing costs and proposing an adequate circular economy. The study presented a process standardization model in the production of the textile company BOMAN SPORT S.A., following circular economy guidelines. The problem derived from the excessive consumption of resources present in the production plant due to the lack of regulation on the activities carried out in the workplace. Through the ABC analysis, the study on the professional t-shirt (product with the highest demand) was proposed, which has the processes of design, cutting, sublimation, ironing assembly, printing, seam control and packaging. During the time study it was identified that the company used 3284.01 s. to make a garment. Through the changes used, a standard time of 3045,76 s. was obtained, improving the daily capacity by 3 extra units. The circular economy guidelines embodied in the procedures manual were directly related to environmental awareness, the most relevant aspects were that: the fabric (raw material) resulting from the cutting process can be recycled to recover part of the economic expenses and contribute to the reduction of the impact generated by waste; all failures produced during the assembly, stamping and sublimation processes can be avoided through equipment calibration and stability of the activities and; The impact generated by water treatment can be reduced by regulating the pressure output from the industrial iron.
