    LA EDUCACIÓN UNIVERSITARIA EVALUANDO INDICADORES Y ESTÁNDARES DE EXCELENCIA EN LA INVESTIGACIÓN EDUCATIVA

    Introduction: University education is a fundamental pillar in the development of societies, providing individuals with the necessary tools to face the challenges of the contemporary world, indicators and standards of excellence have become an essential component to measure the impact and relevance of the studies carried out in educational research. Objective: Design teaching strategies to develop indicators and standards of excellence in university educational research. Methodology: A qualitative study was used that compiled preliminary underlying research from repositories such as Scielo, Scopus, Redalyc, Dialnet and Google scholar. Results: The lack of uniformity in the application of criteria highlighted the urgent need to establish clear and flexible guidelines, the trend towards quantitative metrics also highlighted the need to balance the evaluation, integrating alternative metrics that capture the real impact. Discussion: Strategies are proposed to strengthen the skills of researchers and promote interdisciplinary collaboration. The effective dissemination of results and continuous evaluation are essential to guarantee the quality and relevance of educational research. Conclusions: The determination of indicators and standards of excellence in university educational research reveals its complexity and diversity; the strategies to develop these indicators should focus on cultivating a solid research culture.

    EVALUACIÓN DEL IMPACTO DE VIDEOJUEGOS COMO HERRAMIENTA DE APRENDIZAJE EN ESTUDIANTES DE ENFERMERÍA: UN ENFOQUE HACIA LA MEJORA DE HABILIDADES CLÍNICAS

    Serious games are a type of games characterized by their educational purposes, these are considered an innovative teaching-learning tool since they make available to those who use them, real and iterative scenarios that, in the field of health allow developing skills such as critical thinking and problem solving, in addition, they show the mistakes made, the same ones that allow students to have feedback on their mistakes and thus do not commit them again thus improving the level of knowledge. The objective of this study was to demonstrate how the use of video games helps to improve the level of learning and clinical skills of nursing students. It has a quantitative approach, cross-sectional design and descriptive scope. The technique used was the survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire. The sample size was 32 students, selected by nonprobabilistic purposive sampling and the data were interpreted using the SPSS version 29 statistical system. The results showed that most of the participants have high levels of knowledge about technology and video games, however, the most used are strategy games, leaving aside serious video games. In comparison with other studies, the results are similar, so it is considered that this tool is gradually being incorporated as a method of education. Although they have already been used on certain occasions by teachers and have been well received by students in the classroom as they mention that they develop intelligence and mental agility.

    AUTOPERCEPCIÓN DE LA CAPACIDAD PROFESIONAL EN RECIÉN GRADUADOS Y ESTUDIANTES DE ÚLTIMOS SEMESTRES DE FISIOTERAPIA

    Physiotherapy is a health care profession, focused on restoring and improving of movement and function, professionals formed during the last years were forced to part of their learning in a virtual manner. Which could have had a negative impact on their developm ent, for this reason, the aim of this study is to know how the students and new graduates perceive their own professional capacity. To accomplish this, a survey based on the competences of the profession was developed, the results were analyz e d statistically and qualitatively. It was applied on 83 participants, graduates and seventh and eight semester students from the Technical University of Ambato. A positive evaluation of their capacities was found. Although they also expressed a need for a greater practical component to the profession.

    RELACIÓN DE LA CARGA ACADÉMICA Y ASISTENCIAL CON LA VIDA COTIDIANA DE LOS INTERNOS ROTATIVOS DE LA CARRERA DE ENFERMERÍA

    Introduction: the nursing career is recognized as one of the most demanded within the university environment due to the implications of the school environment and the academic practices that complement their training and that lead students to experience stress. Objective: relate the academic and care load with the daily life of rotating interns in the nursing career. Methods: this was a quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional study that included 65 rotating students of the Nursing program at the Technical University of Ambato. The data collection instruments were: the INSHT workload questionnaire and the stress inventory. academic. Results: 64% of the students presented a medium level of attendance load, the greatest impact was observed in the mental area (76.9%), stressful situations were considered quite common (63.1%), as well as manifestations of stress (70.8%), a relationship was also found between academic-care load and daily life (manifestations of stress). Conclusions: the level of academic and care load of the rotating interns of the nursing career is medium, due to great demands that must be met daily inside the university classroom as well as outside it (hospital context), which leads to the student You are frequently immersed in stressful situations and these impact your daily life.

    Estrategia de aprendizaje por competencias para la gestión de calidad de laboratorio

    The work topic Competency-based Learning Strategy for Laboratory Quality Management, due to the lack of knowledge of second semester clinical laboratory students about this way of learning, the general objective was to develop a competency-based learning strategy for quality management of clinical laboratories, we worked on three specific objectives which were to identify processes and procedures, develop a pedagogical and didactic strategy and establish indicators of effectiveness for learning quality management in the clinical laboratory, we worked on the theoretical framework to analyze the criteria of authors on the subject, The methodology used was the explanatorydescriptive research of transversal cut, we worked with 20 students of second semester of the clinical laboratory career, the results allowed to generate a diagram of clinical laboratory processes, also the diagrams of processes of the pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical phases were made, also the general and specific competences on quality in the clinical laboratory were identified, with these results the proposal titled Didactic strategies with approach by competences for the learning of quality management was elaborated. The main conclusion was, a pedagogical and didactic strategy was designed with a competency-based approach for learning quality management, the pedagogical strategy was the use of ICT, and as a didactic resource the video conference that allows effective communication, the general competence was to perform analytical studies of biological samples, the specific ones were to obtain biological samples, ensure the quality of the analytical process, prepare the sample for analysis and validate the results.

    Evaluación de la psicomotricidad en niños menores de 3 años durante la teleeducación en tiempos de confinamiento

    Objective: To determine the psychomotor skills in children under 3 years of age, dtiring tele-education in times of confinement through the Denver test. The research was of a basic type with a quantitative approach and a sirnplc cohort; Thc Dcnvcr Test was iniplementetl, and it was alst› carried tout indiViÜLl:Illy ft›r each child. The test consiste of 55 items, and elassiJies children depending on their failures: normal, doubtJul and abnormal. One hundred participants were included in the study population. As a result, childrcn from 0 to 3 ycars old in thc pcrsonal social arca, 95’% had nomial dcvcloprnciit and 5% presentecl delay; in the area of fine mottx’ sl‹i11s, 5 l % reach adequate develtipirent and 49% present a delay; within the gross inotor area, 34% present retardation and 66% achieve adequate development; In the language area, 58'/» have a normal development and 42% present delay. lu conclusion, the pandeinic caused by Covid-19 is associated with an increase in ris1‹ factors for the adequate development of psychomotor skills. Mediation has been achieved with technology and the possibilities of realizing an inclusive and personalized approach in virtiial education.

    Intervención educativa para madres de neonatos en el reconocimiento temprano de hiperbilirrubinemia patológica

    Introduction: Pathological hyperbilirubinemia, also know as neonatal jaundice, is one of the most common pathologies in the newborn that presents as yellow pigmentation at the level of skin and mucous membranes reflecting a temporary alteration between the elimination and production of bilirubin. Objective: To develop and educational intervention for mothers of neonates in the early recognition of pathological hyperbilirubinemia. Methods: Quantitative, explanatory, quasiexperimental before and after research designed to access the level of knowledge of mothers about the early recognition of pathological hyperbilirubinemia. The population consisted of the postpartum women hospitalized in the maternity and neonatology services of a general hospital who were tested before and after the educational intervention. Results: The data obtained in the pre-test indicated that knowledge was scarce in relation in the pathology, after the educational intervention it was evident that the mothers showed a basic knowledge for an early recognition of hyperbilirubinemia. Discussion: The importance of an educational intervention on pathological hyperbilirubinemia lies in the fact that mothers can easily identify and recognize the clinical manifestations of it. It is important to emphasize that through a timely and appropriate educational intervention it is possible to understand the strategies of prevention and treatment of the disease avoiding future complications. Conclusion: The educational intervention is useful for the acquisition of knowledge related to a particular topic, in this case, the mothers demonstrated basic knowledge related to pathological hyperbilirubinemia

    Plan de educación post vacunal para madres y/o familiares que acuden al cumplimiento del esquema de vacunación en niños menores de 5 años

    Objective: a post-vaccination education plan was developed for mothers and / or relatives who attend to comply with the vaccination schedule in children under 5 years of age. Methodology: Descriptive quantitative study in which 30 people selected through non-probabilistic inclusion and exclusion criteria participated in which a survey of closed questions was carried out. Subsequently, these data were tabulated in Excel obtaining the results, the research was framed in the principles ethics of the Helsinki declaration. Results: a population between 18 to 55 years of age was evidenced, where women constituted 86.7% are from the urban part of the city, the level of knowledge of the post-vaccination effects in our population was classified as 10% high, basic 63.3 % and null 26.7%, it was also concluded that Ecuador has a satisfactory vaccination percentage 83%, this is recognized by PAHO Discussion: The importance of developing an education plan about postvaccination effects is that although Ecuador manages to have levels optimal vaccination programs, today it has still been possible to show that there are cases of whooping cough and tetanus Conclusions: The creation of a strategy such as the post-vaccination education plan will help to reduce the abandonment of compliance with the vaccination schedule, since it will help the mothers to provide effective care when such an event occurs.

    Estrés y ansiedad en niños de educación básica en la modalidad educación virtual

    The change to a virtual education has triggered symptoms related to stress and anxiety, which has a negative and significant impacto in the daily life of the infant. The objective of the study was to analyze the relationship between stress and anxiety in children of basic education in the virtual modality. The methodology applied in the research was of a quantitative approach, descriptive-correlational scope and a crosssectional study was carried out with a sample of 87 students boys and girls belonging to 4th, 5th, 6th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade of general basic education. The Child Everyday Stress Inventory (IECI) and the Spence Children´s Anxiety Scale (SCAS) were used. Among the results obtained, the predominance of the mild leve lof stress in the study group was identified with satatistically significant differences according to sex, where the prevalence of absence of stress in manifested in men, while in the women the mild and severe level predominates. The área that reflected the greatest stress was family. With respect to anxiety the normal level prevailed, followed by the mild level and no significant differences were found between the participants. Finally, it is concluded with the positive and statistically significant relationship between stress and anxiety.

    Intervención educativa de enfermería en la adherencia terapeútica de adultos mayores con diagnósticos de hipertensión y diabetes durante la pandemia covid-19

    The low figures of therapeutic adherence have become a worldwide health problem, so the present research had the objective of applying an educational nursing intervention on the therapeutic adherence to older adults with diagnoses of hypertension and diabetes during the COVID-19 pandemic, through a quantitative-explanatory study, with a quasi-experimental and crosssectional design. The sample consisted of 30 older adults belonging to the Lions Club of the Sigsicalle Sur neighborhood, divided into an experimental group and a control group, with 15 persons each. Regarding the results, the experimental group presented pre- and post-intervention adherence percentages of 65.3% and 76.15%, respectively. While the control group decreased adherence by 1,48%. Regarding the first dimension related to the intake of medication, food and exercise, adherence increased by 12.77%, regarding the dimension related to medical-behavioral follow-up, it increased by 7.14% and regarding the third dimension of self-efficacy, it increased by 12.64%. In conclusion, the effectiveness of the intervention on therapeutic adherence is shown, so that the significant contribution of the educational role of nursing during the COVID-19 pandemic can be affirmed.
