    Estudio Lean six sigma en los procesos de corte y confección de la empresa D'Christian – Maryuri

    This study aims to develop a Lean Six Sigma approach in the cutting and sewing processes of D'CHRISTIAN – MARYURI, focusing on the production of women’s underwear, SKU 425. The DMAIC methodology is applied alongside statistical tools such as X-R and U control charts, time studies, Takt Time, Value Stream Mapping, and Six Sigma metrics. Data collection spans four months, employing contour measurement, defect counting, and the assessment of waste and transportation. Results highlight significant process capability issues, with Cp values of 0.53 for size 40 and 0.52 for size 44, indicating the system’s inability to consistently meet quality specifications. Variability stems from a lack of standardized procedures, operational fluctuations, and machinery inconsistencies. The analysis identifies improvement opportunities in waste reduction and workflow optimization. This study establishes a robust baseline for corrective actions aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing defects, and ensuring conformity to quality specifications. The findings lay the groundwork for process standardization and achieving a more efficient and competitive manufacturing environment.

    Modelo lean & green para la reducción de desperdicios en la empresa Dayantex

    This work studies the washing and dyeing process of Stone type jeans in a company in the Pelileo sector called Dayantex, this focused on proposing practices that benefit the reduction of waste Lean & Green, the study was carried out under the quali-quantitative approach because the information gathering was through questions and interviews, and also acquired data from the process through diagrams and calculations. Also, an applied research was carried out since possible solutions are proposed, through the documentary bibliographic research was known about the subject of study, also the possible tools to control each waste were designated and finally with the field research evidence was taken, 5S audits to know the state of the company and to have an idea of the processes or activities need to improve. This was how by choosing the most demanded product through an ABC analysis, the flow of the value chain was studied with the VSM, which gave a baseline for the development of the study and define the waste and therefore the tools that could improve processes and times. With the proposal of the 5S, Poka- Yoke and Jidoka, it is sought to reduce certain unnecessary transports, which are present in all processes, in addition solutions are proposed to avoid defects in the garments, with this a VSM was designed where the cycle time of the activities was reduced, after the improvements are executed. Finally, it was concluded that through the use of Lean & Green tools, significant improvements can be made in the industries with the commitment of all collaborators

    Diseño de un sistema de gestión de calidad basado en la norma ISO 9001:2015 en la fábrica de helados ‘Rey de los Andes’

    The present research focuses on a Quality Management System (QMS) desing in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standard for Rey de los Andes ice cream factory, a company dedicated to the production and sale of high – quality ice creams. The main objective of the project is to ensure that this organization complies with international quality standards, optimizing operations and increasing customer satisfaction. The study began with company’s strategic, operational, and support processes identification through the creation of a process map that illustrates how these processes are interrelated. Subsequently, an evaluation was carried out to determine the compliance degree of the requirements established by ISO 9001:2015 standard, using a checklist applied to chapters 4 through 10. Results have shown that the company achieved a compliance level of 47.45% with strengths in chapters related to operation and support, but areas for improvement in chapters related to performance evaluation and leadership. Finally, the required documentation for the QMS was generated, including procedures, matrices, records, formats, and instructions that meet the standard. This information is organized into a quality manual, which serves as a guide to implement, maintain, and improve the QMS. By adopting this system, the company will be able to enhance its processes, ensure the quality of its products, and strengthen its competitiveness at market.

    Modelo de gestión por procesos para la empresa Vaz Clothes

    The main focus of this document is the proposal of a process management model for VAZ CLOTHES. The lack of coordination between departments is identified as a critical issue that negatively impacts operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The key objective is to improve this through the implementation of standardized processes that maximize resources and production times. A method was developed to address this issue using a survey methodology with employees and operators from different organizational levels. These studies indicate the urgency of improving interdepartmental coordination, optimizing production times, and improving inventory management. Additionally, the importance of clearly documenting processes to enhance operational efficiency and minimize errors is highlighted. At VAZ Clothes, the lack of adequate training and the absence of a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system have been identified as significant barriers to continuous process improvement. Therefore, a model is suggested that aims to harmonize the efforts of all departments with the company's strategic objectives, fostering an organizational culture that prioritizes continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.

    Implementación de la metodología Lean Manufacturing para la mejora de la productividad en la industria metalmecánica

    El presente trabajo tiene como finalidad aplicar la metodología Lean Manufacturing para la mejora de la productividad en la empresa Talleres Barriga Sánchez” TABSA”, considerando el reto a innovar procesos, métodos y ser competitivos en el mercado. Por ende, se busca brindar soluciones a los diferentes problemas que causan retraso en la entrega del producto, dando lugar a la evaluación de las actividades que no agregan valor en los procesos productivos. En el presente trabajo de investigación se estableció parámetros para el eficiente desarrollo del proyecto a través de una revisión de la literatura sobre la metodología Lean Manufacturing, se realizó un análisis de la situación actual de la empresa, identificando actividades y áreas de trabajo, además se determinó el producto que representa mayor demanda en la empresa estableciendo registros de control para la toma de tiempos de producción de cada una de las actividades, como también la verificación de actividades que no agregan valor en la producción de asientos para buses, para ello se realizó la selección de las herramientas de la metodología Lean Manufacturing, como: la metodología 5´S, que permitió mejorar las condiciones de los procesos en la empresa TABSA, así como la metodología de control visual que permitió establecer las áreas de trabajo. Todo esto condujo a la elaboración de una propuesta de mejora en la producción de asientos para buses interprovinciales. Mediante los análisis realizados y el estudio de las herramientas Lean Manufacturing se determinó la implementación metodológica adecuada para el proceso de fabricación de la empresa “TABSA”, dando como resultado un incremento en la producción de 44 unidades a 54 unidades de asientos interprovinciales en un mes, con un tiempo estándar de 130:32:03 horas, además el valor actual de la productividad es del 1.01%, mientras que el valor después de la implementación de la metodología es del 1.14% dando lugar a una variación de productividad del 12,87%, gracias a la reducción de desperdicios y movimientos innecesarios, mientras que la metodología del control visual nos permitió distinguir claramente los puestos de trabajo en cada área de producción, lo que facilitó el reconocimiento rápido de la información relevante para cada una de las actividades realizadas por los operarios, esto a su vez, incrementó la eficiencia en la planta de producción, promoviendo la disciplina y la responsabilidad entre todos los miembros de Talleres Barriga Sánchez (TABSA).

    Sistema de gestión por procesos para mejorar la productividad en empresas de la industria carrocera

    El presente proyecto de investigación está enfocado en desarrollar un sistema de gestión por procesos con el fin de mejorar la productividad en la línea de furgones de la empresa Carrocerías Varma S.A, por medio de la recolección de información, el levantamiento de las actividades inmersas en cada proceso, el estudio de tiempos, con la elaboración de un mapa de procesos se identificó que existen actividades que no agregan valor al proceso productivo así también, las actividades y los procesos que realizan los operarios no poseen un adecuado control, ya que las mismas se realizan sin una correcta estandarización de los procedimientos, por lo que se desarrolló un manual de procedimientos para cada área, basado en el modelo de gestión por procesos. En tal virtud, se dio inicio con el diagnóstico de la empresa, para posterior realizar el levantamiento de cada uno de los procesos mediante su identificación, descripción y clasificación, mismas que fueron plasmadas en fichas técnicas para su estandarización. Además, se realizó un estudio de tiempos, el manual de procedimientos consta de instructivos y registros que permitirán a los operarios obtener una guía para realizar sus actividades. Con la ayuda de la planificación sistemática de la distribución de la planta se obtiene una distribución adecuada y se logra la reducción de los tiempos de producción en un 20% por ende un incremento en la productividad de 0,023 a 0,031.

    Modelo de gestión por procesos para el área de producción de huevos de la empresa Avícola Guadalupe S.A.

    Process management is a tool widely applied by companies in all areas in order to achieve efficient and effective management aimed at understanding, analyzing and improving procedures to promote continuous improvement and increase quality. The present work focuses on the operational processes in the egg production line of the company AVICOLA GUADALUPE S.À. specifying that it has twelve processes such as the adequacy of the shed, reception of birds, feeding, vaccination, transfer of birds to the laying shed, egg collection, pre-sorting of eggs, transport, washing of dirty eggs, classification, storage and dispatch: identifying activities carried out without specific techniques and lack of documented information, on the other hand, little communication of important issues between operators which blurs the primary objective of the company. This tool ensures that activities are carried out with clear and uniform instructions, which in turn promotes quality in the final product by guaranteeing consistency in the processes carried out by the operators. Finally, as a result of the study, the detailed processes and the standard time corresponding to each one were identified. In addition to knowing the bottleneck and capturing the information to provide a clear and accurate guide.

    Herramientas de manufactura esbelta para la mejora continua de los procesos en un restaurante de comida rápida

    The present research work was carried out in the fast-food restaurant "Broos Burguer Las Chancros de la 13" located on Joaquín Aillón and Lizardo Ruiz streets, a company dedicated to providing fast food service, with the aim of applying tools Lean manufacturing for the continuous improvement of processes in a restaurant. With an initial analysis, the main changes within the process were identified, in order to provide a solution to the problems encountered, the management of a reference implementation proposal for lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies in restaurant processes is proposed. . For this research, improvement proposals were developed opting for a first 5S methodology, implemented in the production areas, to reduce the necessary elements in all areas, which will benefit the flow of the material, reducing the number of elements out of their place the creation and definition of new spaces for the storage of utensils and the application of a cleaning manual, the time spent cleaning each area is reduced based on defining specific procedures and activities for this activity in each area; The second methodology is based on a redistribution of the plant to reduce the movements or transfers of personnel, obtaining a reduction from 676,87 m to 467,34 m, that is, 209,52 meters per day, obtaining an improvement of 30,97% in the reduction of movements. or transfers of personnel, with the new arrangement of elements, redirection of the material flow and reduction of the response time of the employees to deliver the order, through the simulation of the process in the FlexSim 2019 program

    Mejora de productividad basada en herramientas de Lean Manufacturing, para los procesos productivos de la empresa Curtiduría La PENÍNSULA

    This research work was carried out in the tannery "La Península", a company dedicated to the production of leather for footwear and clothing, with the aim of solving problems present in their production processes. Under an exhaustive initial analysis, several problems were identified, defining the most frequent and main ones in order to solve them and alleviate the critical areas of the process. A proposal was made to implement continuous improvement methodologies in the company in order to increase the company's productivity levels. For this investigation, improvement proposals were executed where the 5S methodology was implemented in all production areas, removing or transferring unnecessary elements from each area, thus recovering 22.9 m^2, reducing 4.71% of the time spent searching for tools, in addition, cleaning procedures were defined, cutting 25.78 minutes of cleaning time per week. With regard to the application of the SMED tool, the changeover time on the router was reduced from 10:25 minutes to 6:47 minutes and on the press machine it was reduced from 10:41 minutes to 7:47 minutes. After applying the two methodologies, an improvement in the leather manufacturing processes is observed, fulfilling the objective of increasing productivity levels.

    Desarrollo de un sistema de gestión de calidad basado en la ISO 9001:2015 para mejorar la producción de una empresa de calzado

    Industrial development and shoe's market competitiveness have induced companies to implement quality systems for improving their processes. For this reason, Messi shoe's company which doesn't have its processes standardized, has seen the need to improve its production process to be more competitive in the market with quality products. The study objective is to develop a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2015 to improve production. Maturity level matrix, standard requirements and a statistical analysis were used for maintaining the production process under controlled conditions. The current maturity level is evaluated relative to the seven quality principles with a value of 2.47 in a system that should improve the processes towards the client, the implementation level of the standard with a low overall rating of 12%. Subsequently, quality management system is developed to meet all the requirements of the standard. A quality manual with procedures and instructions is developed, with emphasis on production control and non-conforming outputs in which quality criteria are defined. In this context, statistical quality control is proposed with an ideal double sampling plan, the use of run charts, Pareto diagram, p and np control charts, 4 monitoring indicators are proposed: quality index by defects kind, accepted lots, rejects per batch and reject production index. Results show descriptively an implementation level of 68.13% and a maturity level of 3.53 with a system that meets the needs and expectations of customers.
