Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2025-02) Robalino Tibán Johanna Katherine; Tubón Núñez Edith ElenaFORTECALZA NEW GENERATION, with more than 20 decades in the market, specializes in the manufacture of footwear, standing out for its innovation and wide variety of models. The objective of this research was to document and standardize the production process, in order to establish uniform procedures that contribute to the optimization and efficient workflow. The research begins by gathering information through an interview with the manager, identifying the current situation, where it is evident that the company does not have a process management model, lacks documented information and indicators, in addition, the activities are executed based on the experience or capabilities of the operator which leads to the inefficient execution of these. Once the context of the organization was identified, an ABC analysis was necessary to define the footwear model on which the project was focused. Consequently, the processes involved in footwear manufacturing were identified and classified into strategic, key and support processes, which were structured in a process map and characterized in the corresponding files. For a clear and structured visual representation of the flow of activities, analytical and synoptic flowcharts were developed that contributed to the standardization of the processes, and indicators were established to measure the performance of the production processes. Finally, the processes and procedures manual is designed, which includes key standardized information, providing the interested parties with the necessary guidelines for the correct execution of their activities, control and organization of the processes.Item Gestión por procesos para la Fábrica de Chocolates Pazmiño(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2024-02) Tapia Nuñez, Victor Stalin; Ortiz Sailema, Christian IsmaelThis proyect proposes the implementation of a Process Management Model for the production area of the ServiTorno company. It was evidenced that the company lacks documentation of the productive process, which prevents the standardization of work, resulting in lost times due to reprocessing due to failures in machining activities. In addition, it was observed that the work in the plant is carried out empirically based on experience of operator, which leads to an increase in production costs. The current situation of the company was analyzed based on the information collected through the unstructured interview with the manager and direct observation through face-to-face visits, subsequently the ABC methodology was applied to determine the product with the highest demand. Subsequently, the processes were identified and represented on the process map. In reference to the operational processes, process cards were used to collect information from each one, these were represented sequentially in flow diagrams and a time study was conducted to determine the standard manufacturing time of the most demanded machining. Finally, the process and procedures manual were designed with the aim of providing operators with a standardized guide for the execution of activities. This guide details in a structured way the guidelines to facilitate their development, with the aim of avoiding failures that affect the quality of the product, maintain control of production through records and improve customer satisfaction.Item Gestión por procesos en la Industria Metálica Cotopaxi(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2024-02) García Tobar, Daniel Santiago; Ortiz Sailema, Christian IsmaelThis research proposes the implementation of process management to improve the 4- tray static furnace production line at “Industria Metalica Cotopaxi”, where the main problem identified was the lack of coordination, standardization, and documentation in the development of activities related to operational processes. In addition, it was evidenced the execution of tasks in an empirical way due to the fact of absence of a standardized guide, in fact, the workers perform repetitive tasks or tasks that do not add value. Therefore, a rigorous analysis of the company’s current situation has been carried out through different methodologies, such as the observational field, a free interview with the production coordinator, and the gathering of processes using management tools such as information collection sheets. These cards detail the essential characteristics and observations of the activities. Flow charts were implemented to develop a fundamental role in the standardization, making it possible to visually represent the sequence of activities that make up each of the operational processes. Furthermore, six technical indicator sheets were developed to ensure the proper flow of activities, improving the performance of the processes, thus contributing to continuous upgrading in production. Finally, a manual of processes and procedures was developed to provide the company’s employees with a standardized guide for the execution of various activities in the different processes. This manual integrates records for each sequence, thus providing greater control over the developed activities, with a prioritized focus on the necessities and requirements of the customer.Item Diseño de un sistema de gestión por procesos en la empresa “Kipa Amaranto”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2023-09) Rivera Lagua, Willian Fabricio; Morales Perrazo, Luis AlbertoOne of the problems in the manufacture of food supplements for farm animals is the non-standardisation of production processes that generates effects such as: defective products, reprocesses, unproductive activities, bottleneck, among others; therefore, the objective of the research is to develop the standardization and optimization of production processes in the company "NUTRISALMINSA S.A.". The study was carried out by means of descriptive research, comprising three stages: I. Analysis of the processes, which identified the current situation of the plant by means of flow diagrams, characterization and time study. II. Determination of the level of deficiency by means of key production indicators. III. Simulation of the manufacturing processes to improve productivity. The results of the research showed that there are activities that do not add value and that restrict production by 12.88%; this situation leads to a bottleneck in the bagging area, with a time of 1862.27 seconds which corresponds to a decrease in production, the level of deficiency in the study level corresponds to 15.90%, in addition, the effectiveness in the study period was 97.79%, while its efficiency was 84.10%, highlighting the lack of optimization of resources and production processes. The simulation in FlexSim forecasts an improvement of 15 units per day, with the optimized times and standardized activities in the production in a schedule of 8 working hours, which is equivalent to 1215 US dollars. The standardization and optimization of the production processes is also visualized with the modification or elimination of activities that do not add value to the process. It is concluded that the company Nutrisalminsa S.A. has improvement opportunities to increase its productivity through standardization and optimization of its production processes, which can have an impact on additional economic income and the reduction of its production deficiency.Item Estudio de tiempos y movimientos para la línea de producción de la empresa de lácteos “Monte Verde”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato.
